- A small weather window presented itself, a morning of calm before the next brief thaw followed by high winds and heavy snow rattled in.....so I headed out to Bridge of Orchy to make the most of it. Carpe Diem!
Wow Thanks Ben its good to have you back out in the hills and in looking in your element! The snow looked wonderful and the views were amazing. Thank you for taking us all with you cant wait to be back in Scotland later this Spring. :D

Nice one (as usual), although after the longest and most sun-starved winter of my life in Latvia, my ardour for snow has cooled and now I just want spring and blue skies to crack on. Even some heavy rain for a day would be nice.

thank you for replie benvironment i've not been out a lot detecting mate couse of family caring commitments no viking treasure troves as yet lol my finds consist of horse shoes george the 3rd pennys & old buttons hopeing to get out more weather it be detecting walking e,c,t any way you keep up the great vids mate chat soon take care & bye for now

I can't speak for anybody else but I absolutely hated the walk into these hills. It felt like it went on forever.
Funny that, as it's probably one of the shorter walk-ins. It's pretty ghastly though, how eroded it is.....so maybe that's something to do with it?
@@BenvironmentBlog Possibly, I can't really say for sure. I just remember it going on for ages then the walk back down it felt as long. It was a winter walk for me and I feel into a deep icy puddle that was covered in fresh snow just as I entered the bowl. Nightmare.
