Man, thank you for this video. Just bought this vehicle today after trading in a my Compass. Before I went in I was dead set on walking out with a Wrangler, but after driving this, my mind quickly changed. I took it out for a test drive, got onto the highway at 80 mph and it was so smooth and quiet. My buddy, who has a 2021 Wrangler has let me drive his a couple of times and there was one major issue I had...on the highway it feels ROUGH. I don't know if it was his vehicle or just how Wranglers run, but it felt (hitting 80 mph on the highway) the thing was shaking and rumbling. Again, today was my purchase, but drove it around and the more I did the more I loved it. The safety features are amazing, it runs so smooth, and once I adjusted my seat to where I liked it, the whole front counsel (like it mentions in the video) just seemed perfectly set-up. I do have the parking assist on mine, tried it, but to be honest, it was unnerving. I'll probably stick with manually parking until I feel more comfortable putting my insurance rates in the hands of a computer. Heading out tomorrow to a out of the way shooting range just to play with the off road features a bit (I could get there in my Compass, but there are spots where the old boy just wasn't up to the challenge). I have to say, so far, I am happy I went with this over the Wrangler. Again, not at all bashing the Wrangler, but the rough driving aspect of it was just a put off.

I have the 2021 Spitfire Orange Trailhawk that you can see an example of in the background of some shots. The only difference between this one and ours is that we have the handsfree tailgate and do not have the package with the parking assist. We absolutely love it. I covered the backseat and back doors for the dog, and my wife, dog, and I go offroading in it. We plan to get the MFC 2 inch lift and Rockyroad rockrails in the near future. The only negatives I have found... it lags when engaging reverse, the bottle holders in the doors and cup holders are too small, would like a third cupholder in front seat, and the steering wheel volume control should be on the left side with the preset scan. You can find videos with people taking the Cherokee Trailhawk to major offroad adventures with only a 2 inch lift, rockrails, and slightly larger tires (pinch weld cut out of wheelwell).

Thats awesome to hear! Congrats on the purchase, it is a fantastic vehicle! Thats awesome about the off roading, it is great such a practical vehicle can also go off road with little adjustment. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great week :) -Jake

I’d love a V6 Trailhawk. These don’t get enough credit. They are super comfortable and have a powerful V6 option, plus a ton of 4x4 credentials. It’s drives a lot nicer than the Compass which is the same price. The new Compass has a nicer interior, but everything else is behind this. I wonder why Jeep hasn’t given this model any attention lately. I hope they adopt a more body design in the next generation; like a 2006-2010 Commander exterior with the new Compass’ dash.

I have a '19 Trailhawk Elite. This is my 2nd Trailhawk and of course I love it. It is quite rugged and very off trail capable and as comfortable highway/city cruiser as well. I've driven Wranglers and they are quite rough and chunky to drive around the city and regular roads. That's why I have the Cherokee. Great review. I wonder what the 2023 Cherokee will look like?

Mrjomaled sweet ride! I truly believe there is no better vehicle in this price range if you want a daily cruiser that can tackle any reasonable off road challenge. I love Jeep’s new tech and design, I am super excited to see more of it get implemented into the Cherokee. Thanks for watching! -Jake

I have a 2019 TH E with 49,700 miles. Mine was built for the car shows I have installed several dozen LED’s 52” curved light bar EL Wire 40 plus switches 8 extra horns.
I was shocked at how many misses regarding lights like under the hood. And sure wish JEEP wanted to make more money. I say that because they seem to turn away from getting some of the after market / upgrades. And maybe some prewiring or like a raceway for light bars, rock lights or recovery equipment

The Uconnect4 in this Jeep is a dream. The new Uconnect5 in the Jeep/Dodge/Ram's is a nightmare. We traded a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L back in after only 6 months due to the Uconnect5. I would advise all to stay away from it. JD Power just lowered their rating for the Dodge Ram due to the problems with the Uconnect5. We traded the Grand L for a new 2023 (the Cherokee's last year) Cherokee Trailhawk with the good old, tried and proven Uconnect4. I don't know why companies always feel the need to reinvent the wheel.

This is on the top of my list as I am shopping around for hopefully a summer purchase. I'm coming from a much older 2010 Compass Limited FWD, she is my first car bought used 8 years ago. But I am familiar with my mom's 2011 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I got 2 kids (9 and 7), and my wife will be coming from a 2018 Honda Civic with her lease coming up. She wants a Honda HRV or a Toyota RAV4, neither are all that appealing to me. A compromise had me adding thr Subaru Forester and Mazda CX5 GS to the list, but she may open up to the Cherokee TH. I'm hoping to find some free time during my 7 day work week to take her out to test drive them all.

It really does. I got to test drive it yesterday...I am in serious love with it despite only being behind the wheel for 10mins. Handles well for a vehicle its size, and the wheel feels so familiar having handled a Wrangler and Compass. Dash and center console doesn't feel too cluttered, though I feel the infotainment system has a little too much going on. But at least its layout is the same as that on a smartphone.

Ask for an warranty extension, this car still has transmission problems. It could be dangerous if the transmission shifts in neutral without any indication. The car is not reliable. Don’t buy!!
