No one's perfect. Didn't catch the I4 vs V4 in editing - the 2.4L TigerShark and 2.0L turbo are I4 not V4
What an amazing overview, the best job ever, thanks. I've
learnt so much about using my new Jeep from this video keep up the great work you were fantastic and connected to the consumer's prospective.🙏
Thanks so much Eddie! Really glad the video helped you learn more about yours
Just bought it. Loved the video. Thank you for the great walk through
You're welcome! Did you go for this same model as well?
Just bought one and looking forward to checking out the features. Was nice to see such a good review on it.
That's great Donna! How are you enjoying it so far?
Great review! Well done!
Hands down the best review i've seen yet of this model / year car on youtube. And you used the Metrics system to describe some of the numbers! :) Just ordered my Trailhawk Elite (which is the only option available here in Australia from a Trailhawk perspective). I am SOOO EXCITED to get my hands on it. The thorough review of the Cluster panel and the infotainment system was also amazing and rare! Well done. Saving this for later in case i need to review it again.
Thanks Ali! It’s definitely an in depth look. Exciting about the ride, is it your first time owning a Jeep? What colour did you go with?
@@CarsWithSteve yes first time jeep owner. My father in law has had a few of them over the years.
Getting the Olive Green.
@@alisadreddini96 Hope you love it!
Fantastic guidance through this vehicle. Thanks 👍
You're welcome and thanks so much Dianka!
You've outdone yourself again Steve, thank you!!!
Appreciate that!
One word: Thorough …. and I loved it👍
Thanks Sammy, appreciate that!
Super thorough. Appreciate it.
You're welcome Michael!
Hey Steve, I just purchased a 2021 Trailhawk Elite.... it should arrive in about 2-4 weeks. I know I'll be rewatching this video a few times once I get my new ride! Thanks for such a great detailed overview.
Congrats Barb! It does go quite in depth so you should be a pro by the time yours shows up. Is it your first time in a Jeep Cherokee?
@@CarsWithSteve
I rented a Grand Cherokee this past summer for two days while on vacation. Then we rented a Wrangler Sahara Unlimited for five days. That’s my dream Jeep but sadly a wee bit out of my price range.
@@barbmaydaniuk7646 Great call getting into the lineup for a few days at a time to get a feel for it! It might be worth looking at LeaseBusters or even a low mileage used if you really love the Wrangler
@@CarsWithSteve one day I’ll get a Wrangler but for now I’m so keen to drive my Cherokee
@@barbmaydaniuk7646 And it's brand new! Enjoy it and if you end up doing some videos of it be sure to share them here
Excellent job. I’m totally sold
Thanks Rob, glad the video helped!
Finally, some real insight.
🙏 Thanks Agustin
great job
Thanks Matt!
i bought it , and absolutly love it
@@CarsWithSteve yes i went with the trailhawk elite in blue , this is my second jeep i had a patriot before this , honestly i'm hooked on jeeps
@@jaydfn I've heard a lot of Jeep owners saying they're hooked after their first one! Enjoy the ride!
My favourite so far , now bring on the zombies lol
@@jaydfn Haha that's amazing! I'd probably want a Hummer in my driveway if there was a zombie apocalypse - Woody Harrelson Zombieland style
Hey if you click the button that flips the seat down and push back the seats recline.
Thanks for pointing that out!
The 4cyl's aren't V4's. They are inline 4's.
Damn great catch!! Thanks for pointing that out
Thank you
Nice review! Thanks!
Am I right, that Elite trim have only 2 differences from regular Trailhawk - memorized seats and leg-opened trunk? Or I missed something else?
Thanks Alexei! The Elite will have leather seats that are also ventilated in the 1st row, seat memory and a hands free power liftgate - they have a similar spec otherwise
@@CarsWithSteve thanks! i missed part with ventilation:)
@@PsyhoBelka you're welcome!
You can’t recline or slide the back seats?
Have one 2014 and although just a little, it can do it
The one I was in wouldn't recline 🤷
I'm in a 2023 Cherokee next week so I'll check that out again
Hi, any idea on the problems associated with the zf 9 spd transmission..have they been resolved..
It'll be a bit early to tell if the older issues are still present in the 2021 Cherokee as well but I do know that some 2021 Cherokees were recalled for a transmission oil cooler hose replacement but nothing major otherwise. There aren't many people in forums mentioning issues with the transmission either
Thanks for chiming in Mike!
You have a high altitude video?
Not yet.. haven’t come across certain trims of the car. But that one is on the list to shoot
❤
🙏
Passenger side fuel fill is a deal breaker.
Which other cars are on the list for you?
V4? There is no V4. Both four cylinder engines are inline four cylinders.
Yup - typo and it's been pointed out already
so this thing is not actually 4x4, but AWD?
Hey Maxim, they are 4x4 - if I dropped an AWD somewhere in the video.. great catch. I'm unscripted in all these videos and sometimes miss things in editing.
The Cherokee has Active Drive Lock and Active Drive 1 systems. Still the same great ground clearance and off-road capability they're known for in this class!
I hope it's better than the older ones the diffs on them are just trash
Haven't had the chance to use it as a daily driver but there hasn't been too much mentioned in forums about it yet
Say “dive into” one more time, I dare you. 😉
Lets dive into this comment a bit deeper shall we?
@@CarsWithSteve 😀
@@CarsWithSteve I own the 2021 Cherokee Trail Hawk and love it. Nice Review.
HAHA thanks! Has it given you any trouble at all?
@@CarsWithSteve now I no longer own the 2021 Trail Hawk. It was the nicest, coolest and most capable vehicle I’ve ever owned and I loved it… right up until the ZF 9 speed transmission started acting up. It scared my wife and I so bad that we just got rid of it.
I couldn’t recommend this car. I have one and after four years with about 30 K the transmission switched without any warning into neutral. After two months I am still waiting for the repair, there is no current software available. Now I have to buy an other car. Maybe later this year I car is getting ready.
Might be one of the reasons that Jeep ended up discontinuing it. Crazy about the situation you're in with yours though.. What are you thinking for your next ride? Have you had the chance to look at the Ford Bronco Sport?
This Jeep doesn't have a V4.
Missed the fix during editing
@@CarsWithSteve It's ok. V4 engines are super rare. Almost all 4 cyl engines are inline.
