It happened to my baseus d02, never fell or had anything bad happen to it and it broke. I tried to use only tape but did not work, ill try to do this tutorial
How did it go?
@Curegirl0023 it worked !
Just a few tips if you plan to use it. When you put soda on the superglue, it works immediately so it's best for you to ask someone to hold it in place because it doesn't budge afterwards, mine I did it alone and it's a bit off.
The plastic bags just did more of a disservice than actually help, they got in the glue somehow and made a mess. Just be very carefull when dealing with both the glue and soda so it doesn't go places you don't want
@@prettyspectrum6371 thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing this awesome tip for JBL headphone owners (or haters? 😬). After three years with my headphone forgotten in a drawer, thanks to your video I got fixed it (and working perfectly ).
God bless you
I hate how companies now make bad quality products, sometimes on purpose, which makes me frustrated because now I spent $30 on an e-waste, what a sick joke
Got it fixed with your advice. I'm happy. Thanks. Bad JBL.
Why is the customer to bare the cost of a brands incompetence in its build quality. Pathetic, i faced the same issue despite no physical damage from my end. The brand has the courage to offer me a 10% discount on its other products. Reporting it to consumer court for this since i can see a lot of users are facing this issue meaning a build quality defect.
yes, its reality, did you try gluing
@@TechscrewDIY No I've filed a case in the consumer court of India for their product quality
Yeah, this exact issue has happened to me 3 times now (2 times on my old headphones, i bought new ones) and now on my new ones aswell, i thought it was my problem but as i see other people having it break the exact same way i dont think its my problem
Exactly , wish I new it earlier, I will never buy JBL again
@@hvr1996 any update??
Hey thanks for the tutorial, it really helps a lot 😁
Exactly what I was looking for! Ideal for people who can’t afford buying new headphones at the moment 😅
you dont need buy new headphones, always first try repair old one, it's good not just for your wallet, but for the planet as a whole
Muchas gracias, mañana mismo arreglaré mis JBL 760nc con el cepillo de mi abuela y súper pegamento 😎🎧 saludos desde argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Como lo hiciste amigo?😢
*"Then take your grandmother's toothbrush and clean the next side gap"*
What did the poor granny do to you? 🤣
It's one thing to -steal- borrow your grandmother's baking soda and glue, but using her toothbrush for cleaning seems a tad vindictive 😂
Does this work for any headphones?
And never ever agin think aboute buying JBL again
Oh come on their not that bad
Baking soda i got baking sodaaaa xD
What to do if you accidentally bond something together and you didnt mean to? (I can't get rid of the cement)
sad :(
Thanks! I've repaired two broken headphones!
excellent, thanks for feedback :)
Greetings from India 🇮🇳 thank you very much my headphones are done ✅
What if I don't have a grandmother? can i repair it?
What kind of superglye?
Super Moment Universal Liquid 3g
Cyanoacrylate
worked thank you very much
thanks
Thank you so much 👏👏👍
What if I don't have most of the materials to fix them?
Hi! I have a question: the little piece is missing for me (that peace where it s broken). Idk what to do.. my father said that he doesnt think he could repair the headphones the way you said because: 1. That little part is missing and 2. That tape or whatever that is called that u used at the end will melt in the heat and will look bad. Idk what to do 😢 I really wanted my headphones back
buy new or repair old ones with some bad look.
the only bad thing now is that now u cant turn ur headphones, like u cant fit them in the case but however its worth it
it's a compromise between buying new headphones and this limitation
Would this work for the JBL Tunes 510BT?
Yes, the technique is universal for gluing any headphones.
@@TechscrewDIY Thanks
So the mobility of the headphones is affected?
It just happens to me in the most stupid way possible and I try with just duck tape but it’s a big fail. Thank you for the video I thought I’ll never found a video about it!!!
yes, the mobility of the headphones will affected.
Cant you remove the pin first? or it's imposible to get the pin, I also have this problem but dont want to compromize the mobility of the hinge any suggetions? like is the a how its made video? or a hidden cover that you can remove
you can't glue them together without losing mobility, then you have to look for a donor headphone to get the extra parts.
Как вытащить штифт?
My Soundcore q30 just broke like this, 2 months old, damn they dont make them like they used
Did you try the glue?
You can also use cigarette ash instead of baking soda. 😊
The exact problem i have
thanks grand mather
This happened to me rn, but my headphones are rockspace 03
did you manage it to repair.
this happened on my 500$ WH-1000MX5 sony headphones, disgusting they refused to fix it and the repair institutions they send me to says I have to pay 350$ minimum to buy the part the needs replacement. Not even including the total price for everything else. I trustedyou Sony fk you
I have a separate video on how to fix it for the WH-1000XM5. th-cam.com/video/o8vWL_oiXtQ/w-d-xo.html
