One day in the future, someone will be explaining pikaroms and dragapults as “retro” format videos
Well that is if Klaczynski revisits the format and reviews what strategies and decks were never used and utilize them his own way. I doubt he will do it though because he got bored of the newer formats since Sun & Moon. Claiming the game has gone back to having broken cards again and people just rummaging through their decks for long periods of time to just win on their second turn. XY-On era pretty much started where Base-Gym left off.

Maybe I missed something, but at 26:38 when you attached an energy to Totodile, I don’t think you were actually allowed to do that. You’d already attached the third water energy to Feraligatr that same turn. Not that it matters, y’all were just having a good time. Really love these retro decks- keep em coming.
I'm about to get into Tabletop Sim just to play this format and Base-Jungle since the Pokemon Company won't add Wizards-era cards to TCGO
I have been loving watching all these retro games. Makes me want to get some cards and build decks. If I wanted to do that, would I just got buy some bulk cards or how can I get a large pool of cards together to build retro style decks?

Feraligatr was SO good while Trash Exchange was still in the rotation. The combo was soooo consistent and it won the STS vs. Jason Klackynski's Typhlosion/Blaine's Arcanine due to him hitting a number of bad flips in a row. Gatr in its strongest form never fought against Dark Gengar, which came a few sets later at a time when Kingdra, Crobat, some Entei, and Light Dragonite where the big meta decks...
First, this hair looks super dope and much better & manageable.
Second, I've the chill since I have the gengar card!

I wish you could show us the cards you played. Idk what that trainer card you played @17:25 . Wish you would show the cards large whenever you play them.. Correction.. you do show/ tell what your stadium does later.. but still.. not when it was played lol

How can I print fake proxy's? Cleffa is 20 dollars and that's a waste so I gotta print copy's
you can always play these old formats on the website tcg one. you don't even have to earn the cards. just go into quickplay and build your deck from scratch. you can have 4 of every card you ever wanted in your deck, as long as the card is in the right format.
pkmncards.com has a proxy making tool, just search up the cards you want !

everytime i try to play the feraligatr deck online, everytime i just drop down Totodile on the field, the opponent will nearly always immediately surrender, unless theres someone whos trying to climb the ranked ladder on TCG ONE (which i may remind everyone does not reward you anything. you get like a 5% bonus to the bits you earn at the end of games if your top 10 weekly and top 10 monthly (this stacks), which is the only reason to play on the ladder. Feraligatr is just too strong. just watch out for Crobat decks. Feraligatr just can't keep up with Crobat decks.

@@beppebraida4502 TCG ONE. its a free to play site that caters to retro formats like Base set, jungle and fossil, all the way up to Sword and Shield. i always played in the career format, which is where you earned a currency to buy the packs etc to build your deck. Quickplay lets you jump straight into any format in history, without having to work for a single card.
