As someone who grew up with Pokémon cards but never started playing competitively until this past year, it's super awesome to watch videos like these that showcase how the cards I knew and loved were used in competitive play. Plus, I'm always stoked to see more tabletop content!

Great video, I love how descriptive each player was with their turns as I didn't know a lot of the cards or what your guys' gameplan was. Editor did a great job at making the game easy to follow by allowing us to read the cards as they became relevant!

2010 was when I played TCG competitively. Me, my little brother and a childhood friend who moved to a next town over would all travel to a next city where they had local tournaments. This deck was the only actually meta deck I ever owned and played. Such a fun deck to play!

DPPT/HGSS was the era of PTCG that I played the most of. It's so nostalgic to think back at cards I played countless times like expert belt, broken timespace, sableye, claydol, uxie, and spiritomb. I remember crushing people with VileGar and my Lanturn Prime rogue list.
    Thanks for the great video.

I took a Gyarados deck to the top 8 of Midwest regionals senior division. Very fun deck with big damage (for the time). I remember playing against plenty of Machamp+Gengar... The deck of nightmares that likely could go toe-to-toe with decks even today thanks to fainting spell.

One of most absurdly good cards back then imo. The only catch is sometimes you have to know how many prize you should open, since if you open all, the next damage will be lacklustre
