Thanks a lot for the video, it's very helpful. If the error P0304 persists and the culprit is cylinder # 4, is there anything else that can be done or it's the beginning of "bye-bye engine"?
I had this code on a 2000 1.4 facelift 4zzfe with physical symptoms of or feeling like running on 3 cylinders.. turned out like Peter said it was the cylinder 4 coil as replacing it instantly solved it. Weirdly, though, pulling the power from coil 4 made the car behave like it was running even worse, as if on 2 cylinders, barely able to move. Pulling the power from injector 4 did the same. That i can't explain, in theory removing cylinder 4 coil or injector power shouldn't have made conditions any worse.
If you look at the ignition connector. There is a white thing surrounded by orange rubber inside. Mine came off when i pulled the connector from the ignition coil. . i reconnected the connector to the ignition coil without the inside part. Is it going to cause problems?.
thanks nice video. one of friend was planning to buy car, all looks great except there is P0304 error, now he is in dilemma whether to buy that car not. is serious issue with car cylinders
First step with 0304 code check plugs and coils replacing around to see if error is coming up in a different cylinder from no 4. If it is then cylinder 4 or plug is the problem. If not then is not plugs or coils. Could be injector needs cleaning, oxygen sensor, fuel filter needs changing or blocked catalyst.

H, please replace all coils and issue is away.
How does this work on a 2000 Camry. I don’t have individual coils?
Repair one coil

Is not serious. Unless problem been like that for many months and has damaged other parts. I bought new coil for only $80.
