    I think I speak for many viewers, thank you for not hoping on trends like thin ice fishing or weird catch and cooks it's absolutely my favorite thing about you guys, no random houseboat builds and fishing challenges

    The best ice fishing video while not ice fishing I’ve seen. Very informative fellas

    Just spent about $150 on a combo, jigs, the frabell safety kits, and line. Of course with this warm trend the ice is gone, so here’s hoping I still end up with a chance to get out this year.

    Go for the greater amp hours. They may have a 2.5, but go for the 5.0. More power, longer life. Yes it costs more, but is well worth it.

    Straight forward but touch on every aspect across the spectrum, whether it be price or what just works for each and every person!! Now the question is when is the ice gonna be here!!?

    You guys (and Ethan) have taught me so much about fishing here in West Michigan. Love your channel and the content. It's been a great resource as I am learning how to fish in the midwest. As usual I got some good tips I am going to try out when the ice finally gets here.
    PS. I live in GR too, Maybe we can all meet up and get out on the ice this season!
    PPS Clam makes a Torque drive for the Drill plate that helps your drill motor and will prevent it from dying. I use the same one!

    Check out the Clam Katana combo! It's like a noodle rod but it's a little heavier action than the meatstick. Good for multi species.

    Awesome video. Not sure but Ace Hardware around here says right on the back of rewards cards that you can not use for name brands including Yeti. Also Aqua vu has new lighter weight hd cameras which are also easier to record on. I use a yeti bucket also but attached a yeti sling to side of yeti tool skirt for bottle storage and the belt style rod holders fit between the pockets too!

    the difference between the ion and the strikemaster is shaver blades or lazer blades. ion is the cooler color and more refined electric auger (they have had more iterations of the electric auger), but the lazer has superior blades and might cut a little faster on a less refined, but reputable company. I recently picked up a synthetic razer auger that would be my choice.

      I’d just wait until you see someone go out in a 4 wheeler. No ice is safe ice but if someone is out there with 3-4x your body weight I think you’re good.

    What’s the weight difference between the buzbee and Plano edge boxes?

    • @paulglass7268
      @paulglass7268 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buzbe is usually a little heavier but not enough to throw off the weight in a sled. Especially when it’s only 1-2 of the thin boxes

    Cheap ice fishing video. Buy, or put together all the stuff, then maybe give it all away (shipping may be prohibitive to that). Bucket, hand auger, cheap combo, line, first jigs or spikes, etc. I'd be interested, to get into ice fishing cheap and not waste a ton if I'm not into it...
