Ive had my pair of Razer Blackshark V2X for a year and half now. I use them daily and I’ve absolutely zero problems with it. Their light weight and comfortable. They do a good job with noise cancellation with a good seal around your ears. The sound is really good for ONLY $40-$50. You can easily hear enemy footsteps and which direction they coming. The highs/mids/lows never mush all together. They make for a great gaming experience being able to hear everything nicely.
Ive had mine since 2021 and i am looking to replace it this year as the left is louder then the right the rubber around the wires is bursting open and audio cutting off for a fraction of a second Do keep in mind that i have no where to put my headphones so i rest it anywhere i have space and sometimes it did fall as it was in unsafe places
Is the wire removable/replaceable from the actual headphones. I've bought my son 3 pairs of 30-40 dollar headphones and they are all worthless once the wire is damaged. Are the Razer Blacksharks V2X removable?
I just recently got the razer barracuda x 2022 and I’ve been absolutely loving it! A big selling point for me was the Bluetooth so I can use it on everything. I had a Hyperx Cloud Flight S, but the dongle stopped working and Hyperx doesn’t sell them anymore sadly. It is nice to finally have Bluetooth, but the Flight S was so comfortable haha
ty - just wanted to add my thoughts after getting Corsair HS65 surround...tried them for couple of weeks...I wear glasses and pressure was there due to clamping and not the most comfortable. Am going to test RIG 700s to see how they are as ultra lightweights and ack back. ty again.
I've had the HyperX for years and I love it. Best headset I ever had. Sounds great and I find it to be comfortable. A bit heavier than a few others I have owned, but It's still great.
I have a very hard question: The original HyperX cloud had extremely limited headroom adjustment, almost for kids heads only. Did they ever fix that in Cloud II?

I got the turtle beach recon 500's and their very comfortable but I can't help but feel like the sound is not as great as I expected. I have no idea if there's a setting in COD MW2022 or if it's my console or whatever it is but any semblance of directional audio seems to be gone at times especially when I use this for my phone, I have to turn on the 3D audio setting in my phone for it to really kick in. Is there something I'm missing with these cans?

I bought the Arctis Nova 1 and it's a shit headset while many, many people claim it's a good budget headset. First off, the 3 positives: I've not bought a lot of headsets but it's the most comfortable budget headset (under 50 euros) to wear that I've bought. Both the earcups and the headband are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours. Secondly, the mic passively cancels out background noise decently. I've got a mobile airco unit 3 meter away and only a slight buzz is noticeable. 3: The 3,5 mm cable makes it multi-platform versatile. Now, on with the negatives and there's 3 massive ones. 1: The mic is trash. It sounds similar to the Arctis Nova 7 in this video. It feels like I'm speaking into a tin can when I listen to video's I made through the PS5. For comparison, I've bought both 2 other budget headsets; a Turtle Beach Recon 500 (wired) and a JBL Quantum 350 (wireless dongle) and they sound better than the Arctis Nova 1, especially the JBL. The Nova 1 mic is very sensitive to which direction the sound comes from but even when I'm practically deepthroating the mic, it sounds a tin can. 2: I play couch co-op on PS5 with friends who borrow my JBL Quantum 350 and there's an echo through the Arctis Nova 1 in co-op videos, despite me lowering the sound of my mic in order to try and prevent it, from recording it's own sound. The JBL headset is wireless and even having two of them connected to the PS5 at the same time, doesn't cause an echo when used during coach co-op but the Arctis Nova itself does echo. The JBL doesn't seep through my voice when they talk but my voice has an echo when I talk during videos with the Nova 1. I've lowered the mic output, the headset's sound itself. Muting the PS5 controller mic mutes my voice entirely and so does the mute button on the headset itself. Both mute buttons do the same thing so it's not like having both on means that itself causes the echo. The Turtle Beach Recon 500 wired has the same problem when used simultaneously with the JBL. It's like using 2 types of connection doesn't work since Sony, Microsoft asshats want people to each buy a console instead to make that extra dough. 3: The mic cuts out half a second of noise every so often when used. This means that my sentences get cut off or words in the middle are missing from videos regularly. 4: Due to me lowering the headset's sound, in order to try and stop the headset from picking up it's own noise, if that even is the problem for the echo; the headset, when turning the wheel to full volume, is set to normal sound levels. That's very soft but if I increase the sound, the echoing gets louder. 5: The wire from the headset brushes my shoulder, chest and arm and you can hear that in videos, even when I have it draped over my shoulder/back to try and prevent the brushing noise. What is it with budget, wired headsets and their issues? Anyone got a proper solution for this? I'm seriously thinking about not buying a wired, budget headset for a few years now to see if the manufacturers come up with something better.

I have dozens of headsets, some costing over $200, and I still keep using the G435 as my main. I love the sound of it, and how light it is. It feels like you're literally wearing nothing. The microphone is the only letdown for me, but for the price I paid for mine ($18 on Target Clearance), I'm blown away. The sound is surprisingly full and deep for being a budget wireless headset. Love it!

I bought some Cloud IIs the other month and wow yep they are still absolutely amazing. The DAC is actually a lifesaver because I get interference from my AUX jacks, so my mic ends up sounding clear with the DAC.

I've always loved the hyperX headsets but found that the right ear stops working no matter how well it gets taken care of which is unfortunate because I haven't been able to find a headset that compares to hyperX. Honestly, same happened to my headset. What I would do is using the manufacture warranty or buy the headphone at Best Buy adding a $20 two year warranty so you get about 4 years of warranty. Once you return the headset at Best Buy to use your warranty (you get a new box that includes a warranty with HyperX).

I scored Astro A 10 Gen 2 for Xbox. Great for dolby atmos and good if you don't feel like using bluetooth all the time. I use it strictly for PC and Xbox Series X.

Ended up grabbing a pair of the red camo wicked cushions.. I got big ears and glasses... they were a major upgrade with the velour hybrid.

Do the Recon 500s have big ear cups? Do they crush your ears or do your ears fit nicely inbetween the cushions.

Sound quality? The $50 Arctis nova 1 and turtle beach recon 500 smokes the hyper X cloud on sound quality and mic quality by a significant amount.
if you toggle the Eq on the Corsair Hs65, will it save if you use the 3.5-millimeter jack?

Honestly, same happened to my headset. What I would do is using the manufacture warranty or buy the headphone at Best Buy adding a $20 two year warranty so you get about 4 years of warranty. Once you return the headset at Best Buy to use your warranty (you get a new box that includes a warranty with HyperX).

Arctis nova 1. Turtle beach recon 500 if you're okay with a none detachable cable.
The rest are bloated muddy poor frequency toy headsets

Just ordered the G335 as on Sale I'm UK for £25. Never bothered with headsets much before. So will give these a try then decide if that's the way to go

@@Nabeelxo decent enough mate. Sound could be louder. But I think it's same with all wired headsets. Worth the money in the sale for sure

I scored Astro A 10 Gen 2 for Xbox. Great for dolby atmos and good if you don't feel like using bluetooth all the time. I use it strictly for PC and Xbox Series X.
Hey man, any way you could do this, but headsets that MSRP are under $50. When I go look at these 8 months later they're all above $50 (most $70-80). I need something for under $50 reg price
