Hey Shane, great video, your wife is delightful, she's right, I work in a physical job and had the OnePlus open, I ended up selling it as I realised it wasn't going to survive my lifestyle.
I have the iPhone 16 Pro and Pixel 9 non pro. I love both but the Pixel is my favorite Android phone. I used to be ok with Samsung, but pixel OS is just better. Love it.
I really appreciate the candid conversation and sharing real-world scenarios for using your phone. Sometimes I prefer this kind of simplicity when it comes to talking tech without the over-the-top production values with multiple camera angles that change every few seconds. Thank you!
I really enjoy these types of videos with honest real world experiences and thoughts on devices from a tech nerd point of view vs that average person’s point of view. It’s extra interesting because you are a couple and makes the whole conversation genuine. I’m ready for her to get the pixel fold 9.🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾
Realistically, I should have gotten the regular 9...but I bought my 9 Pro XL for 755 on black friday at best buy...GREAT DEAL! I traded in my P8 as well. I looked at the pros PURELY for the liquid cooling/Big battery....I'm going home from my 10 hour work shift with 50% and after the first break i'm usually listening to music or youtube.
4:19 I like your wife honest opinion on owning a foldable phone, her view reflects the attitude of non-enthusiastic people towards techy stuff. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾Your wife makes a lot of valid point in this episodes.
I love her pink 💗 phone it does look like her she's freaking adorable! Im one of the 4 women who watches 😂 I think it's cool the two of you have you're own rooms, you guys are so damn awesome pls give us more videos like this. We love Jessie, Shane.
Anyone hear Borat in their head? "Ma Wyyyfe" 😂 😜 Enjoyed the vid as usual Shane (and Jessi). Great to see a regular, on techy prespective. Really gives you a window into why iphones are so successful, even though this is Android specific. The esthetics, the cutesy icons, simplicity etc. Google is really tapping into that iphone thing with Pixel, and it seems to be slowly working.
Lol the internet will forever be a strange place. With that being said another great video quick question so I know you said you do miss being on a foldable but it's kind of expensive and you realistically can't justify that price but have you ever disconsidered getting the older Pixel fold and then just paying for phone insurance cuz right now the first generation pixel fold is actually on sale for a really great price I think it was just over $500 if I'm not mistaken not including taxes and then let's say you just spend $100 more to get phone insurance that way you will be back in the Google ecosystem and on the folding device? I was just wondering but keep up the great work have a good one and I'll catch you guys on the next month.
I believe he did drop his original pixel. I'm sure you made a video where you said you literally flung the phone across your bedroom, by accident of course but still i think this happened. 😂😂😂😂
I never understand the love for the Google software. For my taste it's too much the iPhone of Androids. I want to customize my phone and for example having a Google search bar locked on your screen is one example I really really hate about Pixel phones. Step by step Google implement features other manufacturers have for years, but they are always two steps behind. Of course it's a taste thing. But I never understand why nobody addresses these things except Flossy Carter. The reason why we love Android is customizing. The more the better.
Let me start by addressing the last bit. "The reason why we love Android is customizing. The more the better." That's why some people love Android. I would say what's more true is that what makes Android great is choice. You are free to choose an OEM whose software better aligns with what you want while not losing access to your apps. I won't speak for Jessi, but there are tons of reasons why I love the Pixel version of Android. You didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyways lol. I enjoy the fact that it's clean, streamlined and not loaded down with 2124232 features that I'll never use. The features that Google focuses on tend to be the features I most care about and end up using. "Step by step Google implement features other manufacturers have for years, but they are always two steps behind." I think you're focused on certain features and extrapolating to everything. Is Google behind on launching floating windows? Yep! Did they pioneer things like Call Screening, Now Playing, Magic Editor, AI Wallpapers, Pixel Studio on and on and on? Yep! At the end of the day, we like what we like and the beauty of Android is that Samsung is there. OnePlus is there. You have that choice. And to be clear, I've addressed this stuff specifically several times. Most recently, here: th-cam.com/video/Ojh5fYEq0R0/w-d-xo.html
@scaryifliteral I really appreciate your extended reaction. I will watch the video later today 👍 and you are absolutely right. That's why stock android isn't for me. But for you or your wife other features are more important.
you can use a credit card with 2 years extended warranty or buy insurance if one is worried about foldables breaking Overall I can't go back to the slab, in fact, the tri fold would be the thing I see myself switching to if I do
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
This concept is cute af. Reviews with your wife is so wholesome.
"No I think you're wrong" she says LOL
And certain absolute best part of any podcast I’ve seen this year. No, you are wrong. Somebody should make a T-shirt out of that.
Funny that you mention merch 🤔😂
Said EVERY WIFE EVER!!! The married men know what's up.
That was a nice video, her opinion was interesting. Ps. Greetings from one of those 4 female subscriber
HI!!! 👋
Loved the video! You guys make such a great couple.
Great video guys!! New use for Pixel 9 series Zoom...to catch the thieves!!.. Thank you Shane and Jessi!
Hey Shane, great video, your wife is delightful, she's right, I work in a physical job and had the OnePlus open, I ended up selling it as I realised it wasn't going to survive my lifestyle.
People are so weird. Do they really think your wife isn't supposed to be her own person with her own space and interests?
The perfect couple! Great video! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you!!

I rare lapse of care lol
Hey I am a female subscriber! :) I love these interview videos with your wife! Would love to watch more with her in it!
More planned!
Hi, I'm female subscriber number 3/4 in your comments 😄
And a member too! 😂
Hi!!!❤
Im ready. 😎
Sold my s24 ultra and purchased oppo find x8 pro which blow me away with pack with new tech 🎉
Split screen stopped working a few days ago for my pro fold 9.Any idea how to fix it?
Are you going to import the samsung special edition fold and review it.
No plan to do so currently. It's very difficult to properly monetize that content to the point that I could justify the expense.

Jessi is very beautiful, Shane. You are very lucky!
She may also like pixel fold 🎉

Sounds like your wife would've liked a Pixel 9 XL if they made one.
Does anyone know if the regular pixel 9 supports mmwave 5g?
Yes
store.google.com/product/pixel_9_specs?hl=en-US&selections=eyJwcm9kdWN0RmFtaWx5IjoiY0dsNFpXeGZPUT09In0%3D
I saw the camera cut before the wife same room reveal. Obviously CGI
jk in case that wasn't obvious. Good video. My wife also uses my hand-me-downs
😂
Just came to say hi 👋 as one of the 4 😂
👋😂
Let be honest, Pixel did it better than iPhone.
IMO, YES!
I had exact the same Switch, but now back at Apple Mafia 😂
shane are you W rizz
Thanks? lol
I hate my z fold 6 camera. I’m switching because of that back to iPhone
You assume she has smaller hands? i thought she is your wife so you should know something like that xD
My assumption would be that the phone would be easier for her to hold, not that she has smaller hands lol. I meander when I talk.. 😂
