I’m still waiting for blackberry to make another phone. It’s been a long wait. Guess we all have kind of given up on that. I remember the days of Crackberry, that was pretty good times I was buying used blackberries off of eBay and put in my SIM card in. Was a whole lot cheaper than what I’m doing now. I don’t take much pictures so I certainly am not a pixel fan. Everybody raves about pixels. I git the 6, then the 7. Even got fold 1. and never really caried any if them. I didn’t like them. Now, I am carrying this pixel fold pro every day. I don’t really have any complaints That has been for a couple of months. Great folding phone.

have the 9 Pro and the 9 Pro Fold. I a really liking the Fold and find I use it much more than the 9 Pro. Using a Pitaka case. The only real “bug” I have consistently run into, when going from the outside to the inside screen, the app will remain in outside size even if you have a different setting. Other than that, it has been really good.
I couldn't resist anymore either. Picked one up from Swappa last week and have been enjoying it.
I enjoy listening to you ramble about tech 😆 I always tell myself it would be nice to get a new phone, but I just can't let my s22 go 😆😆

I noticed the speakers are more hollow on the 9 Pro Fold versus my 9 Pro XL. The Fold went back to Google.
I've been going back and forth between the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Fold. I've been an Apple head over 10 years, and so sick of them. I really enjoy watching your videos, and all the great content. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I chose the XL. I'm not a fan of foldable phones. That being said, I'm very happy with it.
As a folding phone enthusiast, I still get anxious taking my foldables outdoors (hiking etc). Pixel 9 pro xl is my phone of the year for all rounder.
My issues with this phone. Only 20w charge and 7w wireless, can only multitasking 2 apps, Only UFS 3.1, front screen isn't LTPO and also seen a few videos where dust is in bedded on the internal screens, due to touching. Better off with one plus or honor... You get a lot more for less. Way overpriced for spec
You forgot to say:
**the 9ProFold is heavier, and runs the most hot of all recent fold.
**Also it's Processor heatsink is facing inwards towards the screen(!), instead of out to rear..
**The inside screen touches itself(!) when folded, just like the original.
**Same cheap glossy plastic material for bezels make it scratch prone!
** It still has a visible crease.
**It's T4 chip is noticably slower than 8gen2 when trimming videos.
**It didn't pass the "JerryRigEverything" DUST test.
**Worst, it has two permanent widgets stuck on home screen! (search bar & "At a Glance").
**It's larger size clumsier to hold over all the competition as well.
The one year old OnePlus Open is still superior in every way. Invisible inner crease.
It's perfected in size & weight. .
OnePlus Open is what the Samsung should have been. Still easy to use one handed when folded, and placed in smaller pockets where even the original Pixel Fold could not go.
With the price drops, easier to recommend. I really enjoyed this one over the first gen and honestly liked it more in everyday use over the 9 pro xl. Form factor coupled with the tensor g4 really makes it a pretty solid foldable when in the US it’s really this or the Samsung fold series.

No hesitation. Google. I had both and I sold my ZFold6 and. kept the Pixel9ProFold. I also sold my Pixel9ProXL. I am super happy with the P9PF.. Best phone I ever had.

I really enjoy using this phone. This is my first Pixel and they won me over with this one. Next iteration I would like to see the bezels on the cover display get drastically reduced, improved software and faster charging. But Google is really on to something.

@abrahamroberts2040 - I had the Z Fold 4, 5, and now currently the 6. Thinking about getting the Pixel Pro Fold 9. I had the original Pixel Fold and was impressed by the build quality, but it was just a bit too short.
Quick question, which do you like better. The Z Fold 6 or the Pixel 9 Pro Fold?
@@Super-c00n I prefer the Pixel. It’s just something about it. The cover screen is so much more usable. Honestly, the Z Fold 6 has the better software for a foldable but I just enjoy using the Pixel more.

I just got mine & I was looking at that case. Did it come with the screen protector attched to the front cover or was it something that is removable? Bc every case seems to have a vuilt in one & i don't want that.

Pixel Fold, nope, not for me, I don't think they'll be as durable as a normal phone, just doesn't appeal to me. No the cameras not even a good as 9 Pro XL, and for the price of it blimey, it should have top camera lenses. I couldn't be doing with that crease but that's just me. This is why I sent mines back yesterday. The cameras just drove me crazy. I also have 2 other phones, and it absolutely drove me crazy. Back-to-back photos with my S24 Ultra, iPhone 16 pro max, and my pixel pro fold and its madness for 1800 dollars. I loved the pixel software and had I got a pixel 9 pro xl i may have kept it. I'll wait to see what happens next year.
@Mrlevarxl I'm proper disappointed with my 9 Pro XL , the camera isn't as good as my old 4xl 6 Pro 7 Pro 8 Pro, the S24 Ultra only the 12mp was reasonable, sent that back. Yesterday my OPPO Fine X8 Pro arrived, night and day as a phone, and camera is way better, I was going to get the S25 Ultra in January, but decided on OPPO, very happy with this. 👌🏻🇬🇧
The camera's are the sole reason I went with the 9 Pro XL. It makes no sense with the price they are asking for this device.

I chose the ZFold6 over the Pixel Fold solely for the S Pen functionality. In fact that's the reason I have stayed with Samsung since switching to a Note series years ago. This year if the new ZFold doesn't have S Pen functionality on the outer screen then I'm either switching to the Pixel Fold or going back to a S series Ultra device. If I could score a great deal on a new S23 Ultra I would jump on it as I didn't have a single issue with it. Unlike the 2 S24 Ultras I tried that both had significant heat buildup and retention issues.

You can pop the screen protectors on those cases off. I hate them and chunk them in the trash every time
I think the fold series of phones is finally worth buying... Next year. The oneplus open 2 will hopefully include tbeir AirVOOC and WarpVOOC charging and other improved features before I shell out near $2k for a phone and another $300 in warranty and insurance coverages
Best time to get the latest Pixels as they fixed most of the previous Pixel issues and updates are coming earlier for Android 16. But i have to admit the price can be steep for the given specs but based on my experience Pixel 9 fold definitely feels smoother than S24U and Oppo find N3 (had both but sold it off due to heating and buggy software).
Which phone do think is the best phone 2 get because I don’t know what I wont the iPhone 16 pro max or the Sony Xperia 1 vi I like both of them but can’t decide what 1. Much love❤👍

I make TH-cam videos with my GoPro 10, i transfer all my content onto my Samsung S20 which has been great until I started making content, slow and lacking storage I want to process and transfer content as quickly as possible, along with using the phone camera to make content.

I took m P9PF back after about 10 days because of an incurable Blue Tooth problem. Maximum 6 foot range to me Bose head phones, terrible connection to my hearing aids, Dropping connection to my car (Phone as a Key). I tried every control in Settings/developer... nothing helped. I'm not the only one, Google it. Too bad, I REALLY liked it otherwise.
That's crappy. Maybe it was a faulty unit. I haven't had that issue, but you never know with phones.
Samsung still has the better software for foldables.
One UI is the best experience with android I've had thus far.
I think once you start using the phone you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I couldn't switch to a fold. I hated my time with the Pixel PF2. It looked and felt nice, but i hate pixel UI and the lack of customization. I am very used to Samsung One UI, so maybe I'll try the Z fold 7 later next year.

I actually like this phone and considered keeping it until I used the One Plus Open.....coming from a Z Fold 6 which is still a boss....Pixel Fold is gonna give you a skimmer design and the AI.....But im typing on the One Plus Open now with the Z Fold 6 and Pixel sitting right next to me. The One Plus is a year old AND still is yiur next best overall pick behind the Z Fold.....UI puts the Z Fold over the top BUT damn this Oxygen OS has some really cool features.

@monarchlifestyle6299 all 3 are great phones.... The outer screen is the only real downside of the Z Fold 6....which has been remedied a bit with this new fan edition.
I'm using both the Google Pixel Pro Fold and One Plus Open and they are both great in their own right.
One Plus Open is hard to beat....slightly smaller screen but UI is close to Samsungs in terms of sophistication. AND One Plus brought back the IR Blaster ...LOL

I've been using it with my Fold 6. And Fold 6 eats it alive. Google soft is slow and buggy. Samsung is fast, sharp, has advanced AI, S-Pen. Samsung apps are adapted for foldables, and Pixel has only TH-cam adapted. What's more - Pixel make strange sound when beeing opened. Like streaching. It's weird. For me Fold 6 ig good - to use by one hand, and to write on inside screen.
I personally lean towards the galaxy fold 6 for the better software tuning and due to ocd😅 ip48. The only reason i have been avoiding foldable phones😅

I tested it at Best Buy and the design is much better than the last one however I noticed the weight is heavy.
There is zero reason phones should be $1,000. Its like I'm paying for my own enslavment.
Ive just gone from pixel 9 pf to zf6 main reason being the samsung foldable software just being much better for me.
It's just too heavy and the form factor just feels weird. Purchased the Honor V3 Global Edition and form factor, weight, size it's just amazing. My 2nd phone is a Pixel 9 Pro and that form factor feels great

I switched to the fold6. I enjoy it....but folders are not a necessity. It's a luxurious device. I would trade mine for an ultra or pro max. It's nice, but a slab phone definitely easier to take care of

I always carry two phones, an iPhone 15 Pro and a Pixel 9 Pro XL. Occasionally I'll take 3 but then I get worried about theft, so now I always keep one flagship at home, usually my S24.
After two samsung folds (3 & 5) I switched to this one. One week has passed so far. So the first impression - much slimmer and lighter, outer screen has normal size, build quality is impressive. On the flip side - absolutely ugly interface, even with android 15, it looks really dated. It seems like Google has very good programmers, but the UI UX solutions are also made by these programmers. Google - hire proper people for right needs, we have no reason to think that you have not enough of money for it.
I have a pixel 9 pro and I'm really happy with it, but I have zero interest in this phone. Maybe when they finally iron out all the kinks and make a reliable, waterproof, dust proof phone that's every bit as good as the pro I will hop on board. But s not at this price missing what it's missing.

Mr. T-O, this phone compromised in a big way, no fast charging n the wireless charge is too low. The OnePlus open blows this phone and the Z fold 6 away, even though it doesn't come with a stylus.😵💫 I'm glad ur not drinking the Pixel Fold koolaid and don't choke on the Samsung koolaid 😱
It´s not bad but must say Samsung still King on Folds. :) I do take my FOld 6 over my Pixel 9 Fold easy. But it´s good we like different things tho. :))

I won't buy a flip or folding phone as long as their displays break so fast. To me all these people that buy these phones seem like alpha testers to me. I'm thankfull for that, but they are too expensive to participate in the testing.
