The wait is over in America but not in Mexico because it came out almost a year. Even the older first gen Ranger Raptor with the diesel was sold in Mexico.

@jacob Moore Yeah, I'm aware the ecoboost are designed for more torque down low. Imo, the Coyote would've been a better fit for the Ranger Raptor, or maybe Ford is saving that for the Ranger Raptor R

It would be nice if they made street versions of these offroad beasts they're making, like back in the day with the Lightning, and Chevy with the 454 SS and the S-10 X-treme.
I see your point with the Lightning and 454SS but the S10 extreme was pretty much a body kit and suspension job, had standard engines either the 2.2 or 4.3 , they handled decent but rode like crap lol

Coming from a Ford guy, Everyone has a opinion and in mine the new GMC canyon AT4 looks better and I'm sure when they are on the dealership lots the GMC will be $15,000 or so less.
I would have to agree. I pledge allegiance to no maker besides maybe Porsche, but I do drive an f150 now and am happy. But if I went midsize it’s looking like the Canyon AT4x, unless this does something to set itself apart in the fun department, like giving us a manual transmission.

Very well could be faster I don't disagree with. I'm pretty sure both will do the speed limit and that's really all you can do anyway 🤔 I'm also pretty sure that new raptor will be well in the $60,$$$ out the door and I can buy a canyon at4 for $50,000 or less.
The canyon at4 is priced high as well. The AT4X is gonna be around $60 grand. I know the regular AT4 is less, but not by much. Ford will bring a tremor out eventually that will cost less than the Raptor

I miss the good ol days when a ranger was a 1/4ton truck that cost 9k they where 4 cylinders (with 8 plugs) 5 speed manual Trans and would be good for 400,000 miles before you had to do any work on them aside from regular preventive maintenance

0-60 Time? This thing is going to be alot faster than the new taco I bet, Toyota unfortunatley likely to be lapped before they even hit the track by only offering a 4 banger if true....
Current ranger does 0-60 in the mid 6s so the new 2.7 v6 will be probably high 5s and raptor high 4s low 5s maybe if crazy high 3s but doubt it

Not to mention, the giant 12 inch portrait and all the new electronics are inevitably going to fail and cost a metric ton worth of money - no thanks. I know there's a vast swath of time, technology, and resources between the two, but speaking as someone with an '04 XLT FX-4 Ranger that price tag just seems so bizarre for any Ranger.

Absolutely LOVE this truck! We've been waiting for this. It will be a runaway hit. It has F150 Raptor DNA... can't beat the orig high performance off rd truck! They will easily get 500hp out of this proven Gen2 3.0L GTDI engine. Good times! 👍🏻 🇺🇸

Cool looking truck and great features. I’ve owned a 65 F100, three Ford Rangers and four F150’s including my current one, a 2020 F150. I don’t think there is any way I would pay 57 grand for a Ford Ranger. Not even a Raptor…. Truck prices are ridiculous and hopefully I never have to buy another one! I had my last F150 for 13 years before I decided to buy a new one.

Looks like a totally different brand vs the Ranger XL reviewed. Good towing, great payload for a specialty off-road truck, power,,,,,. It’s not insanely priced like the Raptor Bronco. It should be less than $80k Canadian to start,, the Bronco Raptor is $108k Canadian to start here!! Yikes!! 😮😮.
I like it, now need to know how it’s equipped in the USA and how different it is from the Bronco Raptor.

Almost. 450 hp and 510 ftlb in the F150 Raptor. I’m looking at doing intercooler, intake, and goose tune to bring it to 600 hp for mine.

The regular Rangers aren't really a match for the new Colorados in my opinion. But the Raptor version is a serious competitor to the ZR2
Regular rangers 2024 beat the Colorado from an engine stand point, the base Colorado 2.7 is weaker than the ranger 2.3, the mid 2.7 i4 is weaker than the 2.7 v6 in the ranger and the zr2 i4 2.7 is no match for the 3.0tt i6 in the raptor. Just facts, speed wise ranger is up, design is anyone’s opinion
Colorado is same engine just tuned three ways if you didn’t know

The engine is the heart the interior needs to hold up, it’s leather if your premium cloth if your not

Looks like its a ZR2 colorado competitor. About time another manufacturer adds a front locker to its Midsize truck.
The zr2 is the competitor, the raptor is the bench mark which the zr2 is under by 2 cylinders and 90hp less
