This was an amazing build, though I have an idea for a new one to try, an unarmored swordsman, with no physical armor you have to rely on skill with blocking and maneuverability
You know the thing I really want to see you guys do the absolute most is a Dwemer artificer who primarily uses Enchanted staves seen as the dwimmer were pretty damn big on using enchanting and Enchanted tools as well as soul gems and I think it would be a really awesome build especially since there are certain mods coming out that will add animations to Dwemer gear that would also just make the aesthetic look all the much better for those of us who decide to use mods.
Really I just think the idea of a magic user who has literally almost no magic themselves it's just always been a fun and interesting concept to me no matter which way it gets spun whether that be the Black Clover Way or this method of having no magic themselves but instead using magical gear to supplement for that lack of magic
Having 9000+ hours in this game I have to say coming back to play your guys builds make it new again you guys have the best builds I’ve seen I would sub to Skypothesis a million times overs if I could
Right now I'm playing a necromancer character kills strong npcs for their corpse. Rejoice in the fact that your characters are immortalized in his legacy. Somewhat. If you squint. Movart Piquine is trying his best with that bloodskal blade, and Jade huntress is unfortunately a man. Anyway, you've sealed Ancano's fate with this video. May Sithis have mercy on his soul.
When I watch these Skypothesis builds my mind get flooded with ideas for my own style of builds. I absolutely love Skypothesis for what they can do with Skyrim. Keep up the amazing work y'all and lets make 2022 the best year ever for Role-Playing in the world of Skyrim. Much love from this side of the screen.
We need a build that focuses on dwarven themed quests and creations especially forgotten seasons and sunder and wraithguard and keening and all dwarven ruins Edit: By the nine, this is the most likes I've ever got
Perhaps a archaeologist or explorer style build kind of li Indiana Jones where they are fascinated by the technology of the dwarves believing that ‘the secrets of the past are the key to the future’
Indeed. I’ve been trying to come up with a Dwemer scholar type. I do use mods so I can do Dwemer race and also use Dwemer Researcher armor but it just doesn’t feel right
I love this channel for many reasons but mostly because you guys genuinely seem to enjoy making these builds unique. Not just slapping on the most powerful weapons and armor and giving some half assed backstory. I love that about these videos and it’s inspired me to create a few builds of my own in the way you guys do
@@Skypothesis yes, my first ever play through of skyrim didn't use crafting skills, not using them is easier*, sure there is no grinding but you dont have smithing, enchanting or alchemy
You guys get a lot of praise for your builds and it's more than well deserved, but this time I want to point out the incredible production quality. These videos are so pleasant to watch and listen to and these intros are such a nice touch! The only bad thing about it is that they're so good it's hard to stop on one build for my playthrough 😅
@@mr.witherhmc9304 I made a video about it 3 years ago when the Arcane Accessories CC came out. Was it this video? I only say that because at the time of release, nobody else had it. Still, I'm glad folks are knowing about it. th-cam.com/video/e0r5eMAFzIE/w-d-xo.html
I totally called this build when I saw the silhouette thumbnail in the community post. I was thinking it would be something like the Dark Crusader from Fudgemuppet. I didn't call thalmor backstory though. I do take some issue with the backstory involving invading the Imperial City. From what I've read, the reason Tidus Mede was even able to retake the city was because the Thalmor spent many days sacrificing innocents atop the White Gold Tower as offerings to the Daedra, wasting time waiting for aid from Oblivion in the war. It doesn't sit right with me because if this character was so obsessed with honoring the true Divines, he would never have permitted those daedric atrocities to take place, at least not without resistance. It would have been a cool story arch for him to have rejected the Thalmor, not for failing to win the war, but for how they attempted to win it - abandoning the Gods in the process. But I still love these builds, and I can't expect yall to pull a Brian David Gilbert and read every book in Skyrim - for that way lies madness.
This addition actually really helps the character. For me, it gives an opportunity for the Inquisitor to break from the Dominion. He was a devout soldier, but his mentor tried to enact an unholy ritual to win the war? This is a deep betrayal and I presume he would spin out for a couple of decades.
Absolutely stunning build as always, guys! I am totally in love with the aesthetics you create in these videos. I also rewatch some of my favourites. Thank you so much! As far as I remember you still haven't created any "justice fighter / anarchist" character (except for Rebel of course), but anyway I would really like to see some Robin Hood inspired build with the new Bow of shadows. Is there anyone else who supports the idea?
Man I was just thinking about a high elf build at work today! I was absolutely pleased to see this badass video released on my walk home. Keep up the great work and may the divines (or Daedra) bless your day and the days after you guys! Thank you for the character!
I must say, that as someone with 800+ plugins active on my sse, I always thought that you were quite the madlads for opting to play vanilla, but your creativity and eye for aesthetics does the magic build after build! Great stuff!
one thing i found is that if you replace the gauntlets and boots with the ebony plate gauntlets and boots it makes the character look even more sinister. the boots don't clip as far as i can tell and while their enchantments are different, i still found them to be helpful. the gauntlets give you a 30% boost to one handed damage, the boots give you 30% stamina regen so you can power attack and sprint a bit better :)
Always love seeing your builds guys, I'm probably going to start my own skyrim roleplaying experience on Monday as, what I call, the Dragonfire Cleric, who believes that the dragonfires reignited in her soul after learning she's Dragonborn, your Burning Barbarian build, along with fudgemuppets Divine Battlemage build, helped inspire aspects of my character and for that I want to thank you... I look at skyrim differently now and for the better thanks to your builds, so again and properly... thank you for the fantastic builds.
Ok I LOVE the special moves. It seems most build guides just tell you what you can use but nothing else. Maybe they say how you set up. Here, we get DEFINITIVE combos of powers and skills with their own names and I absolutely love it.
So I recently finished a play through as your Volikihar Knight build, and one of the moves I made was basically the same as the Intimidate you have here. I would either cast a paralysis rune then a fear spell, or a fear spell with a lucky backwards power attack to cause the paralysis. It was just one of the fun little liberties I took while playing that character.
So I made this, but as more of a Sauron-ish plotter and strategist, working to further the Dominion's goals, by siding with the Stormcloaks to undermine the Empire's stability and making sure to have as much dragon allies under his command, for they are the children of Auriel. I also rp'd that he hates the "imperialisation" and lack of progress of the thalmor of Skyrim, with which I justified the eradication of the Embassy and it's agents. Also because he is an altmer and an officer in the Stormcloaks army, it would ease the prejudice against elves, making it easier to plant more Dominion agents in the future. Hail the Dominion
This is cool (love the Menite Inquisitor pictured during the "inspiration" part of your intro). Have you considered a build based around a poltergeist? Telekinesis, Fear (and maybe Frenzy) spells, Paralysis, not sure what else off-hand. Maybe some Stealth skills?
You guys do such a great job, I'm always so happy to see what new build/story you've cooked up for us! I get a big kick out of playing really zealous, fiery characters like this - something a bit cathartic about seeing things in a very black/white way. Also for future builds, I think a scheming politician or corrupt bureaucrat would be fun. So would a graverobber of some sort. Maybe the bureaucrat would be good at forging documents for the thieves guild, or the graverobber would make a habit of robbing the city crypts for the guild. Also maybe the graverobber could be an alchemist who uses bonemeal for an important potion. Just some ideas I've been floating. Keep up the great work!
Just adding on but would love to see how you would handle an alternative of this, the Spell Shield! Something along the lines of mastering Alternation and crafting/enchanting the best possible shields
God damn, the drip absolutely slaps. I was actually brainstorming an outfit for a restoration spellsword character so this is a blessing indeed. I'll change the gameplay style a bit but I'll keep the backstory and everything else. Stellar work as always. Whenever I see the "Skyrim Roleplay Experience" on the screen I legit get chills.
Imagine releasing 27 unique builds without a single spell sword 😅. That proves that your creativity and phantasy is through the roof! 😁 I enjoyed this build very much and am very excited for the final build of this season. 😀
Fantastic build that reminds me of the old Nemesis build by Mason on Tamriel Vault, just upgraded to AE so I'm going to jump straight in with this masterpiece !
I actually did a small modification to his story of when he enters skyrim where he views his capture as talos punishing him for attempting to suppress his worship, and therefore causing him to join the stormcloaks, but his greed for power still exists. I quite like it.
Another incredible build. Keep up the amazing work. The build I am currently planning is "The Divine Crusader" who will be an Imperial to be lore accurate. An argument could be made for him siding with the Empire due to his heritage or Stormcloaks for his distain for elves. Also deciding on if I'll go with the heavy or light armor version of the Divine Crusader armor. The heavy allows for the use of the shield that has excellent magic absorbing ability and a rune effect. While the light armor has a shield as a shoulder piece, which would allow for the use of a two handed weapon such as Chrysamere. The penalty to the armor for committing crimes would really push the roleplay aspect of the build I would enjoy seeing a Skypothisis take on the Divine Crusader, as the backstory and roleplay is certain to be legendary.
A build around the cursed ring of hircine would be insane. Maybe like the skyforge build the unleashed which im playing as rn as a sneak archer thief with a crossbow who will randomly turn into a werewolf, but it made me think of a cursed honorable Nord warrior or something like that. Would love to see your take on a cursed build in general.
I love your guys channel more and more with each video. Question for you though -- how do you guys play a character (do you build the character as fast as possible, and then play the game at a higher level, or do you play the game as normal, but only use these skills)? I'd love to see a video where you discuss your philosophy on getting a character to where you want it, because in the beginning, you aren't really any of the characters (as far as skills go).
One good idea for a build would be an orc druid who learns from an orc wise woman. He would have alteration, illusion, alchemy and one handed. He could also have lycantheopy. He would likely wear fur armor and the storm cloak officer helmet, and he would have an orcish sword. Another build idea is a forsworn druid/shaman. He would be a Breton, since the forsworn and reachmen of high rock are Bretons. He would use the same skills as the orc druid. You could use the shadow stone and shadow warrior perk to roleplay shadow magic as a gift from one of the reachmen gods. He also could have any other added skills like enchanting, since the forsworn have enchanting tables. Lycanthropy is almost a must for this one, due to the reachmen's thoughts of usefulness of it. The last build idea is a cunning nord druid who is connected with the land of Skyrim. He isn't evil, but he is deceitful, and if it suits him, he may betray others. An example of this is in the acquiring of the horse, Frost. He would initially join the Imperial Legion, but in the Jagged Crown quest, he would give it to Ulfric Stormcloak. His main skills would mostly be enchanting, alteration, illusion and restoration. He would have a frost atronach staff and take advantage of the atronach forge. All of these quests will use these shouts: command animal, kyne's peace, unrelenting force, whirlwind sprint, storm call and clear skies. Let me know if I missed anything good for these builds or their array of shouts.
With vanilla skyrim as a base and your characters' backstories and the music you guys create great videos. One of your lastest characters has these special moves that make the enemies ragdoll and fall into rune spells. Seeing this made me laugh out loud.
Wow this character is sick, I love his design and backstory. Straight punisher style character. Got me inspired to keep innovating on my builds for my Skyrim videos! Also, I just joined your discord. Really excited to see what you’re working on next🙌
Hey I got another spellsword idea for you guys, The Hellfire Warlock. Basically he is an Argonian spell sword who took part in the siege of the Deadlands during the Oblivion Crisis. Through the many years of fighting and surviving the Deadlands, his body and spells became tainted by Oblivion, making his fire and electric spells not only burn the flesh but also the very essence of ones being.
Great build, awesome back story. Thanks a lot for this looking forward to the next one, but if the first of 2022 is this much of a badass then the coming year is going to be metal AF.
Amazing video and channel. I watch these more for the amazing editing and creativity than for the build itself. It is extremely entertaining. I hope you guys manage to do a quartermaster build one day, you know, a master craftsman/administrator whose main goal is to provide gear for his faction. Would be nice to see your version of it!
I have few builds that would be kinda interesting. I have one for a Necro type with many characters in it. I have a two already. I'm not good with background stuff but here's something lol 1) The Queen of Necrokeep The Queen of Necrokeep was living peacefully before the empire attacked. A loyal alchemist begged for them not to attack but they locked him away and forced him to watch the Necrokeep be destroyed. The Queen couldn't watch her people be slaughtered and awakened her hidden power that was within her. She killed many but stopped once she seen her husband was badly injured. She escaped with him going far as they can. The magic she healed him with was only temporary since the attack that wounded him was from a skilled battle mage that used a forbidden spell. He couldn't go on for long before they had to stop. As she was going to heal him her eyes suddenly clouded over. Her powers awakening came with a unknown price. Her husband couldn't stand for his wife to be stranded out here blind so he offered to bind himself to her and allow her to see through his eyes. She hesitated before retrieving his soul that hovered over her and allowed her to see once more. For the soul of her husband you could use candle light, mage light and clairvoyance or imagine it's there. Call to storms is needed for her 2) The alchemist This alchemist studied for years the magic to give life to those who has fallen. The day he was so close to cracking the code the empire attacked. After the destruction the alchemist was crushed by the broken castle. But his eyes opened and he took the form of a spirit and escaped from the rocks. He regain his body and realized something. To live is to trick the reaper. He had cracked the code on himself, but what about on others? He went to the center of the castle and said a few words before a green light shot straight up to the sky and formed a green cloud that released souls that revived the dead under his command. His happiness was cut short when her realized the queen and king was nowhere to be found then a sharp pain ached within him filling him with hatred as a name he remembered hearing echoed in his head. General Tullius. He swore to find him and kill him with his undead army but first he must find the queen. I will find you... For the spirit form ethereal or if you want a green like one use oak flash or any of those and invisibility. The ritual stone is needed
This is easily one of my favourite builds that you guys have done! Question, how do you guys go about naming your characters? I always struggle with that!
Awesome build as always, very excited to get this started! I’m tempted to join the stormcloaks on my play through as a way to force the thalmors hand and weaken his enemy’s ( the empire)
I know he's supposed to join the impeials, but when you join the Stormcloaks, just before you kill tullius he says "this is what the thalmor wanted". Being an ex thalmor, the inquisitor probably knew this.
I’ve been enjoying watching your build videos for the past couple of days now. I think your a refreshing change from FudgeMuppet, whom I got most of my builds from. I hope at some point you do builds based on the champion armors in the anniversary edition(the imperial dragon and storm bear armors).
One idea for a special move to represent his indomitable will would be to combine the Lord Stone with Force without effort secrets of Arcana Plus dragonhide and then utilize bones of the Earth this move shows off his steadfast faith and Ironclad resolve to punish those he deems worthy of judgment

Didnt know how awesome looks the ebony knight armor with the ebony mace from the tribunal, looks like is meant to be together
Underrated chanel, see you at 1 million
Here’s to hoping!! 🤞
@@Skypothesis trust bro, just don't lose sight of it!
Need y’all to come back!!! Love your builds!
Love this build. Played a similar character back on the 360 back in the day
I love your guys channel more and more with each video.
We like to get kitted out as fast as possible then take it slow with the leveling :)
That’s a great idea for a video!
@@Skypothesis - Awesome! I’ll keep that in mind as I work on my Ashland Drifter. 😎👍🏻
I'm going to use this mod but with a more Daedric style thank y'all for your passion for this game and community
With vanilla skyrim as a base and your characters' backstories and the music you guys create great videos.
One of your lastest characters has these special moves that make the enemies ragdoll and fall into rune spells. Seeing this made me laugh out loud.
Guys. I'm still on the ghost of Atmora build 🤦♂️ gotta calm down with all this heat 🔥
Wow this character is sick, I love his design and backstory. Straight punisher style character. Got me inspired to keep innovating on my builds for my Skyrim videos! Also, I just joined your discord. Really excited to see what you’re working on next🙌
Heck yeah keep it up man! Love it! Thank you!
Love this build. Nice work!
Nice! I hate the thalmore but I can respect this build!😁
Miss these Skyrim build videos! Hope to see a comeback soon 💪
I have few builds that would be kinda interesting.
I have one for a Necro type with many characters in it. I have a two already. I'm not good with background stuff but here's something lol
1) The Queen of Necrokeep
The Queen of Necrokeep was living peacefully before the empire attacked.
Call to storms is needed for her
2) The alchemist
This alchemist studied for years the magic to give life to those who has fallen.
This is awesome! You should stop by the Sky Forge forums, it would be a great addition as a build post.
0:47 Did you just...decapitate a ghost? With a mace?
That we did, sir. That we did.
Which weapon would you use to do it? A sword usually can't hurt a ghost. ;)
This is easily one of my favourite builds that you guys have done! Question, how do you guys go about naming your characters? I always struggle with that!
This is a pretty good antithesis to the Aetherial Pilgrim
Absolutely nailed this build
Awesome build as always, very excited to get this started! I’m tempted to join the stormcloaks on my play through as a way to force the thalmors hand and weaken his enemy’s ( the empire)
I know he's supposed to join the impeials, but when you join the Stormcloaks, just before you kill tullius he says "this is what the thalmor wanted". Being an ex thalmor, the inquisitor probably knew this.
Your builds are awesome, keep it up
I’ve been enjoying watching your build videos for the past couple of days now. I think your a refreshing change from FudgeMuppet, whom I got most of my builds from.
I hope at some point you do builds based on the champion armors in the anniversary edition(the imperial dragon and storm bear armors).
Maybe one day we'll make ones like that, but if you're interested I think BadCompanySarge made builds based around both of those armor sets.
This is so awesome. Thank you!
Oh, I am definitely gonna try out this one.
One idea for a special move to represent his indomitable will would be to combine the Lord Stone with Force without effort secrets of Arcana Plus dragonhide and then utilize bones of the Earth this move shows off his steadfast faith and Ironclad resolve to punish those he deems worthy of judgment
Playing with this build and i absolutely love it
Really awesome video man!👌
wicked and utterly badass!!!
Too cool loving this series
Yooooooooo. Your the grand champions I’m your biggest fan lol 😂
💙🤍
