If you want to play into Sauron's first age lore more you can also easily justify becoming a werewolf or a vampire. He was known as the Lord of Werewolves and took on the form of a werewolf to fight, and is also described as taking on the form of a vampire to fly away in the tale of Beren and Luthien.

I think a good mod to use for the Dark Lord would be Undeath, the main mod that allows the player to seek Lichdom. As a lich, you can keep the aesthetic and it has more of the evil sorcerer vibe as opposed to the vampire, the bloodsucking fiend. I can imagine the Dark Lord choosing this path not just because of the power it bestows, but the Dark Lord is smart enough to understand that being a vampire means giving up your soul to Molag Bal, another Daedric Lord and that could be reason enough to avoid vampirism. The mod also lends itself very well in the roleplaying department through its lengthy quest, the three decisions that you make during it, as well as the skill needed in order to acquire the necessary components so that you can perform a special ritual. Roleplaying potential, amazing aesthetic, and power beyond reckoning all rolled up into one.
To see how far you boys have come is astounding. Your passion for the series, it’s lore and all it has to offer, which you skilfully use to craft intricate, thoughtful, fun-filled character builds makes the game, and it’s community better. You guys are all wonderful.
Ah! You have pretty much replicated my first build from eons ago when Skyrim first came out, though I based mine to Sorcerer class from Morrowind and I picked Dunmer as my race, otherwise spot on! Only difference I would make to this if it is to be based on Sauron is changing Destruction to Illusion as Sauron has always been more of a enslaver of minds and souls as well as being a master artificer. Keep up the good work!
During the backstory this video has the same energy as the Audible books in the Darth Bane series! Those are some of my all time favorite Star Wars books so this is definitely a compliment! ❤️

You Guys really Inspire Me!! Thank You and Keep It Up!! Here is A Character Of My Own! My Name is Zarba Rook. I lived in Chorrol with My Mother since I was a young age. We weren't a rich family but I was able to make a living as a hunter so we didn't starve. But then one day I was offered a way to make better living for me and my mother. The Dark Brotherhood had seen my talents and offered me a chance to join their family. I accepted without thinking and already I can tell that wasn't like everyone else in my sanctuary. My So Called " Family" enjoyed the acts of killing while I simply just saw it all as a job so that my mother didn't have work at the age that she is now. As Time Went By, I just got tired of all of it. The Guilt didn't help either to be honest. But then it happened, The Sanctuaries were closing one by one, The Listener is dead, and the Night Mother is silent. So I just left and used my skills to help people in Tamriel rather then kill for some twisted cult of Crazy people. I left for Skyrim when I heard about The Civil War. Guess those caught in the middle would need a Hunter to help...
there is also warlocks amulet which you can forge from a quest that is added it gives 30% conjuration cast cost good item for this build until you get your enchanting up
Also the Necromancer Amulet from Blood on the Ice Quest would be beneficial for this: +50 Magicka, Conjuration spells cost 25% less to cast, Health and Stamina Regen 75% Slower. Aesthetically looks cool and could be helpful. Additionally if willing to tweak the Aesthetic a little bit Ahzidol's Helmet would work cause can conjure things further away for an increased cost.
spell absorption and conjuration actually go together pretty well, since spell absorption returns the spell's base magicka cost rather than what it was reduced to through perks and enchanting. so conjuring with spell absorption either brings out a decent ally that you don't mind tanking even lethal hits or it gets you back in the fight, in other words: spell absorption+conjuration=the true power of friendship.

There's a fantastic quest mod that goes with this build PERFECTLY. It's called The One Ring and it starts when you buy and enter Proudspire Manor. Under the bed is a lockbox with a journal, a ring and some notes. There you learn of a group of enchanted rings, each discovery will lead you from one ring to the next via riddles, eventually leading you to the One Ring

Blackened eyes are alluded to be due to Daedric influence. I believe Neloth inquires upon any side-effects such as "black spots on the eyes" after you return from Apocrypha possibly due to the influence of Hermaeus Mora. On a personal opinion, I would find someone with black eyes encountered in the Elder Scrolls universe to be associated with dark magic and the Daedra.
Been here since 2013 feel so old now watching these it's a shame you don't upload as many builds as you used to even watching the modded ones that I couldn't access was amazing
Mairon?...I see what you did there! 😏 during most of the Third Age Sauron was also known as "the necromancer" when he ruled from Dol Guldor in Mirkwood so a focus on necromancy also fits well. Sauron transformed into a "vampire" and "werewolf" in the First Age so you can choose either or both (mods). Smithing and enchanting makes perfect sense as Sauron crafted the Rings of Power and Destruction flame and shock are perfect fit! Nice build boys!
I’m marking this as my next build to play only I will also be investing in fists of steel because Sauron fought unarmed with his bare hands in the book version of the battle of Dagorlad (the battle in the opening sequence of the first movie) and I always thought that was way cool
I usually don’t outright make these builds but I do take a lot of inspiration from them. Thank you for helping me improve my characters and overall improving my Skyrim experience.
I very recently started a new Skyrim game after a friend of mine gave me a little crash course into modding (I never really dared venture into this territory until now). He installed a lot of new content such as Legacy of the Dragonborn, Wheels of Lull etc etc etc so I just started a completely new character. The funny thing is, I am focusing on the same skills as 17:54 but my background story is completely different. My character is an Orc spellsword with focus on destruction and conjuration magic. The clan he grew up in had always hated everything related to magic. They believed in combat and warfare, and believed that magic was for the weak. But when my character was young, he stumbled upon an old hermit living in the woods, who turned out to be a necromancer cast out from society for his experiments. He taught my Orc to read and the basics of magic. So for a while, my character led a double life. He improved his skills in combat with his clan, and he studied manuscripts and spells with his mage master, and continued to do so after the old man died. Then one day, while out hunting, my Orc and his brother were surprised and attacked by a bear. His brother got grievously wounded and my orc saved his life using restoration magic, thus exposing his magical abilities to the clan. Rather than be thankful, the hunting party brought him before their leader and he was cast out of the clan. He was to wander the land alone, without clan or family. Upon his wanderings, he heard tell tales about a mage college in Skyrim where he might be accepted and be able to persue his studies. That's how he ended up in Skyrim.
Hearing that ad for Raid right after the start of the video is like taking a bite of vanilla ice cream only to realize that someone switched out the ice cream for mashed potatoes. 😅
I once did a Morgoth type build that had all of my creative juices flowing. Made him a high Elf for the height and fair skin. Gave him dark flowing hair. Full Ebony Armor, besides the head piece, with the Etherial Crown on his head to show off the 3 Silmarils he stole and made into a crown. I had a heavy Daedric mace in one hand to represent Grond, Hammer of the Underworld. His other hand usually was empty for spells, but to dual wield I only used all the most elegant and exquisite looking Swords in the game. Dawnbreaker was a go to at times. While you can't summon Giant Balrogs to destroy armies for you, I did have Flame Atronachs as one of my few summons. But his greatest uses was the bend will shout and necromancy. I ended up putting the ritual stone on the etherial crown so I could keep using its ability, slowing creating a giant undead army.
I remember it was mentioned in The Silmarillion that Sauron has a connection to werewolves - even being called the "Master of Werewolves" (or was it "Lord"?) - so it may be a good idea to add lycanthropy to this build. But that's just coming from one Middle-earth nerd. (I want to say he had a connection to vampires as well, honestly.)
You did do a fantastic job with this build and backstory, not so much Sauron and his character that's more of an Illusionist, conjuration build specifically with ordinator perks in mind. In the silmarillion Sauron was more of a manipulator and shapeshifter and follows the example of his master corrupting or destroying the work of others with the ultimate goal of exerting his will over others and using whatever means necessary to do so
I would definitely add the Undeath mod only because Sauron was a master shapeshifter and was able to be either vampire or werewolf so it would help fit the roleplaying and the lich playstyle would also fit roleplaying as a type of tribrid because in The Hobbit movies he goes by The Necromancer so his lichdom could be a big part of his sorcerer power.
Never thought I’d see a sponsor on this Chanel but man did it make me happy!!! You guys have been grinding for years and you deserve it!! Hope ya got some decent septems for this one boys! :)
The Staff Enchanter over at Myrwatch is a really good way to boost Enchanting quickly. It comes with I think 7 Heart Stones, Unenchanted Illusion Staff and Unencanted Destruction. If you know the "Fear" and "Lightning Bolt" spells, you can enchant those staves and boost your Enchanting past 50.
I played as sauron so many times now. This video is a welcome surprise that's awesome. I once played as Mairon before the fall, just crafting jewelry. That was amazing :D
Evil Altmer dark Lord build? So pretty much what I’ve been playing. Don’t get me wrong though, I loved this from background to stats. Hugely enjoyable video! Thanks Scott and Fudgemuppet team!
Yooo this build video was epic, from the amazing backstory and the aesthetic. I love the breakdown of playstyle, stat investment, and skills. Y’all are the absolute best at Skyrim builds.
I like the additional theatricality! And good use of the new creation club stuff Though I’d argue that Molag Bal is a better example of Sauron than Mehrunes Dagon, with Dagon being closer to Melkor the Morgoth - though both inspired Molag Bal’s Aesthetic. The Lawful Evil of Sauron/Bal and Chaotic Evil of Morgoth/Dagon
First thing first, congrats on the ad deal! Yall put in a wild amount of work and deserve to get that 💰. Only comment I would have is maybe see about putting it at the end of the vid? The intros yall write are super impactful and are a much different vibe than the raid energy, I think a tagine of "thank you to raid... more at the end of the video" and then get into the content would flow better. Either way tho, love to see yall getting bigger every day🤟 keep up the good work💜
I checked out the Blood chill manor and it seems to have just enough displays for the many weapons and armor I like to display. It even got displays specifically for the paragons, dragon priest masks, dragon claws and even the bugs in jars.
Honestly, a really cool mod that would go with this build is one I discovered recently; Mehrune' Champion's Army. It allows players to permanently summon a variety of Dremora for a Magicka decrease, and once killed their bodies remain in the world. The mod also comes with a secondary file that allows them to be summoned for only a magicka cost, with no decrease while summoned and living. So, you can really choose how powerful you really want to be.
How about a Golden Saint or Dark Seducer build, using either a High Elf or Dark Elf with the "Saints & Seducers" quest? Would be a nice throwback to builds like the "Dremora Warlord".
You can also use Light Armour with Daedric Light Armour. It allows access more perk investment since perks such as Custom Fit, Matching Set and others works WITHOUT a helmet.
All that's left to do is either: a) Make a Bright Lord Build. Or b) play a full dark lord playthrough or at least enough to make a little movie or something.

He did! In the Beren and Luthien tale he was remarked as using the form of a vampire/huge bat to escape. So he definitely has some kind of connection!
Why doesn't this man have like 20 million subs content top tier
You did do a fantastic job with this build and backstory, not so much Sauron and his character that's more of an Illusionist, conjuration build specifically with ordinator perks in mind. In the silmarillion Sauron was more of a manipulator and shapeshifter and follows the example of his master corrupting or destroying the work of others with the ultimate goal of exerting his will over others and using whatever means necessary to do so
Been watching FudgeMuppet for years. Keeps getting better 👏
I'm so happy you guys are doing more builds
I would definitely add the Undeath mod only because Sauron was a master shapeshifter and was able to be either vampire or werewolf so it would help fit the roleplaying and the lich playstyle would also fit roleplaying as a type of tribrid because in The Hobbit movies he goes by The Necromancer so his lichdom could be a big part of his sorcerer power.
Never thought I’d see a sponsor on this Chanel but man did it make me happy!!! You guys have been grinding for years and you deserve it!! Hope ya got some decent septems for this one boys! :)
Nothing better than a new fudgemuppet build. Thanks very much, these make my day!
“There is no light, wizard, that can deafeat darkness....”
I played as sauron so many times now. This video is a welcome surprise that's awesome. I once played as Mairon before the fall, just crafting jewelry. That was amazing :D
Bonus points for naming him Mairon 👌
Evil Altmer dark Lord build? So pretty much what I’ve been playing. Don’t get me wrong though, I loved this from background to stats. Hugely enjoyable video! Thanks Scott and Fudgemuppet team!
Please do make a Galadriel, The Lady of Light build for Skyrim. We need more lord of the rings skyrim builds.
You guys have officially got me hooked again. For this i am eternally grateful
Yooo this build video was epic, from the amazing backstory and the aesthetic. I love the breakdown of playstyle, stat investment, and skills. Y’all are the absolute best at Skyrim builds.
THEYRE BACK! THE BEACONS MUST BE LIT
Oh this is perfect, I have like 300 hours I think and I've never played as a High Elf but always have wanted too.
I like the additional theatricality! And good use of the new creation club stuff
Though I’d argue that Molag Bal is a better example of Sauron than Mehrunes Dagon, with Dagon being closer to Melkor the Morgoth - though both inspired Molag Bal’s Aesthetic. The Lawful Evil of Sauron/Bal and Chaotic Evil of Morgoth/Dagon
This is very well done. If you do any more dark builds I would love to see a maegor targaryen build
Either way tho, love to see yall getting bigger every day🤟 keep up the good work💜
"Mairon." Someone knows his LotR/Silmarillion lore.
I checked out the Blood chill manor and it seems to have just enough displays for the many weapons and armor I like to display. It even got displays specifically for the paragons, dragon priest masks, dragon claws and even the bugs in jars.
Ah, my favourite thing, and what brought me to this channel. These beautifully made builds! Never gonna get old to me.
Damn, I am.not even playing this game and the backstory got me hooked. This is so cool man.
The ultimate Edge Lord, I love it.
Yessss! Keep the builds going!!!
Actually a stunning build and your new builds are underrated
How about a Golden Saint or Dark Seducer build, using either a High Elf or Dark Elf with the "Saints & Seducers" quest? Would be a nice throwback to builds like the "Dremora Warlord".
My gods that thumbnail is dope af
Looks like some great role playing. And thank Talos I don't *have* to be a vampire for this.
Your imagination is otherworldly. Awesome work!
Oh yeah, the King returns once again!!!
YOOOO BUILDS ARE BACK LET'S GOOOO
I think writing the backstory in first person was a WONDERFUL idea.
You can also use Light Armour with Daedric Light Armour. It allows access more perk investment since perks such as Custom Fit, Matching Set and others works WITHOUT a helmet.
That backstory was pretty fire.
I really hope you are writing as fantasy novel! You are a very, very good writer!
All that's left to do is either:
a) Make a Bright Lord Build.
Or
b) play a full dark lord playthrough or at least enough to make a little movie or something.
yoooooo and we back, watchin yall since i was 14!
That's awesome! I'd love to see a Snow Prince Build after this series
I must admit, elemental bolt is a heck of a lot of fun!
I just did a sauron inspired necromage build as a breton. I think I might do a similar thing for a warrior build for a high elf
The back story for this goes so hard that I’m actually going to make this as soon as I get home.
I've actually been hooked on this killer build keep up the awesome work
25 minutes I’m impressed and shall watch this one to the end
