This phone is literally almost all of the S24 Ultra for half the price. IDK why anyone would get a S24, S24+, or Pixel 8 Pro over this
If you have At&t you don't get wifi calling with the OnePlus 12. If you have FirstNet (At&t network) you can use it because it doesn't have band 14 certification. So those are some reasons why you'd Samsung and Google over OnePlus.

I've had the Google Pixel 8 and my wife has the new Samsung and I prefer my OnePlus 12 over any of them it is a complete powerhouse battery life is insane durability is great I would know firsthand I've dropped mine off the back of the truck slammed on the concrete no scratches no dings no cracks I love my phone it is the best phone I have ever had in my life
It really depends on how much you use your camera. I just watched a TH-cam video this morning comparing camera and video recording on the OnePlus 12 and the
Galaxy 24 Ultra and the Samsung out performed theOnePlus in overall camera/video quality. (I did order the OnePlus 12 for the price difference)

The video you took looked pretty great! You can also charge the phone at 100w with the 100w charger in the OnePlus store.
Awesome review! I've been enjoying my new 1 + 12 and I've completely changed my charging behavior, not charging at all overnight and just plugging in to standard type c 65 Watts in the morning for an hour and getting to 80%. Lasts me the whole day and I love it! Also your hair is absolutely gorgeous and I love your nails!💜🌸💜🌸

I am a below-average photographer, and my go-to mirrorless camera is the Canon M200, using a 35m lens. All I can say about the OnePlus 12 camera is that it is on par with some handheld cameras, in this case, my M200. I took many photos with OP 12 and M200 night shots, and the OP 12 is good. The portability and size of the shots I take when I go out are much better. I don't have to worry about changing lenses. Although I am waiting for OP engineers to rig an ND filters that you can attach to the size of the "circle" and screw in ND filters or better yet a case that can screw filters. Thanks for sharing the video.
can you check if the game centre while playing genshin have adaptive frame booster and how the fps feels after enabling it?

@@AdamSmith-gs2dv Those specs do not translate to real world usage. OnePlus devices have cheap hardware and do not last long. Screens go out, speakers blow etc.

That is better than the USB 2 speed many phones get. But, is it Gen 1×1? Or is it Gen 1×2?
Gen 1×1 is nominally 5 Gbps. But, the Gen 1 protocol reserves 20% of that for itself, leaving only 4 Gbps for data transfer-rates - which becomes a practical-rate of 3.6 Gbps.
Gen 1×2 uses twice as many pins - only available through USB-C - so that doubles the transfer-rates above. Expect up to 7.2 Gbps data transfer-rates.

Thanks for answering! I’m sorry to admit that at times I forget about how brutally misogynistic tech can be. Tech seems to amplify and empower the worst of humanity. The rest of us that are not bearing the brunt don’t take the problem seriously enough.
Hard to know what the right balance is between giving government the power to go after people who are harming innocent people and giving government too much power so that bad actors in government have frightening tools at their disposal.
Nice review! I’m always shocked that people who use their phone constantly for almost everything for years won’t buy a higher priced, more capable, model initially. What is worse is then they complain about how their cheaper model doesn’t have this or that.
They saved a couple hundred bucks but I have to listen to the complaints. What a bargain…
