One note - the song was based on the game as it was originally released. After a few months, PvP was disabled until level 5 with an opt-out at that point, and later it was made opt-in. Also, it turns out that most 76 players would rather help each other than fight each other - the crazy "gonna kill anything that moves" folks mostly moved on to even more bloodthirsty games fairly quickly.

Incidentally, the FO4 update may break some of your mods, but definitely not all of them - I still have the SP rebuild of Sanctuary Hills running, with its upgraded weapons and secret armor. The Tenpines Bluffs rebuild, on the other hand, left the workbench hanging in mid-air after upgrading; I might have to download another mod for that settlement.

I honestly kinda appreciate how Fallout76 brought out the human urge in MMOs to just roleplay. I've seen multiple FO76 builds that are literally just things like shops or diners.

@@spoopyvirgil4944 My wife likes to build small villages. One of her proudest camps is outside Watoga, and incorporates a bowling alley, a tavern, a Red Rocket garage, and a butcher shop. (The vendor is behind the bar in the tavern.) She's been fiddling with it trying to include the bell tower as a chapel.

I love reaction channels like you for two reasons:
    1: I'm seeing somebody else's first experience with a video I love
or 2: I'm being introduced to a video I never would've come across otherwise.
and this video is in like with the second reason. Thank you, genuinely, for introducing me to this guy's music, 10/10

oh yeah his stuff is damn good. I'd highly recommend "Wool over our eyes" and "dead ahead" both reacted to by Dave here.

The OG version is on my top 5 Stupes’ songs. It’s on daily rotation. I love (and hate, since I love the right Stupes the most) that the ending implies that the middle Stupes did some unthinkable acts to the other versions. The song is just pure gold!

The ending of the original video, the part with the patreon and channel stuff, had a great joke that didn't make it into the remaster.

It was amusing for then but my understanding is that many of the bugs have been fixed. Plus there's a theory that the last line teases their next song slated to release in a couple weeks(timing per Stupe's video description)

As a Person from WV, which is where Fallout 76 takes place, one of my favorite aspects that they added and the whole reason I was interested in this game and grew to love the franchise was the inclusion of some of the cryptids and folklore as Bosses and Enemies within the game. Mothman especially got a lot of love with an entire faction created for em’.

I think trampling other people to get to the top is like the common thing not just for the 1 procent

Of course. I was just using the top 1 percent as an example. As they probably commit the most egregious of acts to remain there.

ill argue they are one of the best of the last 10 years. their word play and cadence changes using music that isn't normally associated with the genre

Vault 76 was kind of a really boring vault concept wise. Which fits the still poorly designed game 76. It didn't have any kind of social experiment going for it. They just tried to put in smart, brave, or famous people hoping they would repopulate the world. Once they decided to open the vault it shutdown so they were forced to survive elsewhere.

    • @DeaconBlues117
      @DeaconBlues117 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

The social experiment was to see how the "best and brightest" would respond to being forced to do all the scutwork that is necessary to running a Vault, but which they would have thought beneath them. The aggressively competitive nature of the residents was certainly highlighted in some of the notes on terminals in the Vault itself, like the person who lost a tooth in a fistfight over who deserved the trophy for Best Dental Health. Then there was the complaint from the former CIT engineering professor who felt that he was overdue for a promotion from janitorial services to soda jerk in the refectory...
Shutting the Vault was also a conscious choice by Vault-Tec - not to repopulate the world, VT never really cared about that or the "Societal Preservation Program" designed by noted sadist Stanislaus Braun wouldn't have been approved, but rather to force all these "geniuses" out into the wild without support (original directives required that no weapons or armor be issued to those leaving) to see if they could survive without assistance from anything except the CAMP device. (Yes, the CAMP is impossible tech, but so is the GECK, and it's been a macguffin since the beginning.)

@@DeaconBlues117 yeah but what I'm saying is that compared to the other vaults it was kind of boring in concept. It lacked that "WTF is wrong with humanity!" vibe to a more "oh well that makes sense".
