I'm glad you found this helpful, I think what you mean is can IELTS replace B2 in english language, to answer that I dont think it can replace it, if you check the internet you would see how to get a B2 certificate in english language but pls make sure the certificate will be acceptable by the german embassy. And secondly the requirement is either a B2 level English, or A1 level German, so if thats the question you were trying to ask,, YES! your B2 level english can replace the A1 level German. And about the funds, your bank statement is among the documents you will take with to the german embassy during your visa application, you need to also ensure that the money is left there if there will be a need to confirm it, OR if when you apply for the visa, you've gotten a parttime job from Germany with a minimum of 20 working hours per week, then you can present your Job contract as an evidence of financial security for your period of one year stay in Germany

Hello, That is not true for an opportunity card visa, you can only proof that you have a family member who can take care of you, if you’re coming for a visit visa, and with a visit visa you can only stay in Germany for a period of 6months after which you’re expected to return to your home country.
