To clarify, at the moment touristic visa can give right to apply for residence permit in Germany for Skilled immigration, Blue Card and family reunification and IF ONLY the reason of this application has became clear AFTER getting the tourist visa. So, it is not allowed to apply for residence permit in German if touristic visa is used as a goal of residence permit application.

Too many people underestimate the significance of the language barrier when moving to Germany. Not only do you have to learn the language up to C1 level, you will have to learn your specialized knowledge (eg: anatomy, biochemistry) in German again. That’s muchmuch more than just German C1

In this video, the expected language proficiency in german is stated as minimum C1 level. I think it may not be true because C1 level are categorized in the advanced level of german language program.
Even for technical jobs the minimum requirement is B1 level.
Nursing professionals too require B2 levels. In that case what you told here does not make any sense.

I went to a German site. It says for more info and for applying for opportunity card get in touch with a German embassy or consulate in your home country. According to German info it is supposed to be rolled out some time in the first half of 2024.

I am interested in this visa opportunity for Germany. I am from Kenya. My only concern would be someone who would be willing to offer accomodation and support for a few months or so as I settle. Can you be able to assist with that Nanelle?
