It's very clear that Christianity is just one of many (there are ~2000 documented) religions on Earth, man-made, based on local myths and legends. I get where you're coming from with this, and I also believed this at one point and why I became astray to believing otherwise, and it seems like you were taught under Evangelical teachings instead of Traditional teachings. I won't share or say what you believe is right, but there is lots of evidence of Christianity being basely real, especially as you are telling others - like a young boy to his friends or siblings - what is true... We we're giving free will to express and believe what we found real, but Satan, has and always continued to confuse and undermine what is true in God's world, and God has always been consistent and accurate throughout the whole Biblical texts, so for you to use his scriptures says enough of what you have been through, especially when you have not understood God's vision. You can question it... I do, too, as a broken traumatized spirit, but I also learned that was never God, but humans who have hurt me. jeff, in 2009 i built a new house, i lived in it for three years before i sold it. nobody in my family was religious. i was always skeptical of a god and the bible. my wife and i experienced paranormal things in this new house that i built. over three years we saw and heard many things that the vast majority of humans don't get to experience. someone must have died on this property or something. i realized at one point that there is something else out there than us just dying and that is it...there is another side... so i started studying the bible. there are so many prophecies being fulfilled here in the last days it is mind blowing to me...what the bible tells us is all happening right before our own eyes...a few years ago i still had doubt...but now with everything that is going on around the world i no longer have any doubt. there is no way a book that was written a couple thousand years ago could have predicted everything that is and has been going on...

When it comes to religion and faith, most people and civilizations will always need this 'rock', it has always been this way. YOu can conclude what you want, but on the societal level, the day is going to come when you're going to have to choose between, at the least, 'Cultural Christianity' .. or Islam. Chew on that. There’s a point to where you have to trust someone and some ancient text. You put your faith somewhere. Either you trust writings for Christ or you trust writings against Christ. There is an absolute truth. The Creator wants us to know that truth. There’s a point to where you keep crossing out scriptures and verses until you have none left. Then you are back at square one… “Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going.? How was it all created?”

The Christian God today is so obviously not the same God as the one described in the Holy Bible, New Testament and Old. There is no easier way to deconvert from Christianity than just to read the Bible. If it's the best that an all loving and all powerful God can do to let its presence be known then it doesn't deserve worship. I would argue it deserve mockery for how absurd it is. We know that Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet who expected the end to be imminent. There are tons of academic works on this and this has been known for centuries to scholars (but not religious people, who simply believe and read the Bible rather than history).

It's because you do not understand or know who God really is. He's not like us. He's Holy and Almighty and powerful. There are things that don't make sense to us in the Bible yes but who are we to question the God of this Universe. I guarantee you this, you will not be able to speak on the Day of Judgement. You will be so overcome by Who God is and Who you are or aren't. But it will make sense to all at that time - but it will be too late! Earnestly pray and seek God - tell Him how you feel - He can take it. Ask HIm to show you Truth - absolute Truth. jeff, in 2009 i built a new house, i lived in it for three years before i sold it. nobody in my family was religious. i was always skeptical of a god and the bible. my wife and i experienced paranormal things in this new house that i built. over three years we saw and heard many things that the vast majority of humans don't get to experience. someone must have died on this property or something. i realized at one point that there is something else out there than us just dying and that is it...there is another side... so i started studying the bible. there are so many prophecies being fulfilled here in the last days it is mind blowing to me...what the bible tells us is all happening right before our own eyes...a few years ago i still had doubt...but now with everything that is going on around the world i no longer have any doubt. there is no way a book that was written a couple thousand years ago could have predicted everything that is and has been going on...

When it comes to religion and faith, most people and civilizations will always need this 'rock', it has always been this way. YOu can conclude what you want, but on the societal level, the day is going to come when you're going to have to choose between, at the least, 'Cultural Christianity' .. or Islam. Chew on that. Because Muslims aren't questioning their faith, they are not allowed to. There are severe (seriously: life and dealth) penalties for questioning their faith, or even leaving Islam. They are also driven to convert the world and have especially severe punishments for non believers.. so think about the broader, real-world implications of trashing Christianity, in multiple levels.

Hell isnt even a christian thing. Christianity stole the idea from both Greek and Norse mythology.
There’s a point to where you have to trust someone and some ancient text. You put your faith somewhere. Either you trust writings for Christ or you trust writings against Christ. There is an absolute truth. The Creator wants us to know that truth. There’s a point to where you keep crossing out scriptures and verses until you have none left. Then you are back at square one… “Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going.? How was it all created?”
If God wants us to know him then he should reveal himself to us instead of requiring us to trust men who wrote thousands of years ago in a different language and culture. You trust MEN not God.

The Christian God today is so obviously not the same God as the one described in the Holy Bible, New Testament and Old.
There is no easier way to deconvert from Christianity than just to read the Bible. If it's the best that an all loving and all powerful God can do to let its presence be known then it doesn't deserve worship.
I would argue it deserve mockery for how absurd it is. Anyone who has read the Bible at face value would agree with this. That's why Priests and such have to claim it to be "mysterious" and blind faith is seen as virtuous. Because the God of the Bible is so obviously cruel and limited.
You underestimate the difficulty of the Act of Creation.
We know that Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet who expected the end to be imminent. There are tons of academic works on this and this has been known for centuries to scholars (but not religious people, who simply believe and read the Bible rather than history).

You will be so overcome by Who God is and Who you are or aren't. But it will make sense to all at that time - but it will be too late! Repent, believe and study the scripture with real Bible Theologians and Apologists. You don't have to like everything that God says but it doesn't make it false. I pray for you to have a mustard seed of faith because that is all it takes - God will grow it and your eyes will be opened. Believing in the unbelievable, trusting in something that you don't really understand fully but choose to be open to what God has for you to know about Him at this time in your life. We never really know God until we are with Him for eternity and then we will see Him face to face. Repent and seek Truth - the One Truth. We are sinners lost in our sin but Praise God He has provided a way of salvation through His son Jesus Christ. He died for our sins past and present and future and he was crucified by people who hated him and that was alot of people because the darkness hates the light AND He was raised from being dead by the power of God Almighty and He is alive since that day and for all of eternity. Earnestly pray and seek God - tell Him how you feel - He can take it. Ask HIm to show you Truth - absolute Truth. He will - Read the Gospels, the epistles and have study bibles with you - ESV and NIV are good versions I think. I know what it's like to doubt - we all do at times. I'm wrestling with God regarding my gay son - just praying for some type of genetic research that proves he was born the way he was - even if it's found it still doesn't deny that sexual sin is sexual sin - all of it that is outside the confines of marriage between a man and woman who are married. Anyway, it's OK to wrestle with God! He knows that we don't get it sometimes. He knows everything about us individually and He loves us anyway. But He also wants to see us grow and change and become more Christlike - it's a lifelong process of ups and downs until we are in eternity With Him and then it will all be made clear. God bless you - don't give up. He won't give up on you!!
