Really? Because his dangerous naivety seems to me like it's going to get a lot of people killed.
For just one example, acting like everyone in the world is exactly the same and it makes no difference, right after talking about the horrors of how the monotheisms are known to treat each other, sounds absolutely insane.
Has there ever been a time since their inception that at least one of those faiths wasn't killing, torturing, enslaving or otherwise oppressing one of the others?
People can argue about who is right or wrong in, for example, the conflict between Israel and Palestine. I for one just know that I don't want that conflict to spread into my neighborhood just because this Kumbya midwit thinks countries shouldn't exist and it's evil to discriminate. Humans might be more alike than different, and indeed that seems to be the case, but the differences there are are often fatal.
Patriotism is only evil if it's imperialistic or hateful to others. What's more evil than patriotism is demanding my neighbors pay taxes for a public Healthcare service regardless of if they want to participate or not, and then refusing them the care they paid for their whole lives because you decided to prioritize someone else from far away that didn't.
What's more, while I'm completely sympathetic to his position on the state, all evidence appears to suggest that you cannot not have one because organized crime will fill the power vacuum and become the state, and indeed is there a state anywhere that isn't just the most powerful local crime syndicate?
What's worse, all the effective push these days to eliminate nations seems to be for the sole purpose of creating a one world government, and if you think your country sucks, it can only get worse if you concentrate power at a global scale which will be so far removed from the public that incompetence will do as much damage as malice, and those two are certainly likely to self reinforce each other as those arrogant enough to seize power will grow to hate the public for not simply accepting their grandiose naive narcissistic plans, and then grow even more ignorant as they refuse to listen to a public they despise.
I notice all these things are already happening now, and yet he persists in the very delusions that are certain to make things worse.

@@davidmayberry3190 Let's not cherry-pick, though. Let's dig deeper for what the true problem is. I feel like It's not the materials by which we are given, that occupy our mindfulness which we should focus on, but the whole of human imagination and how it's used to manipulate us that is the issue. The guff, the ideologies, the molecules are just marketing tactics to keep us mindless about what's really happening around us.

You should look into the history of Weimar and the institute of sex research then. They basically moved west and continued their agenda, which is how we ended up where we are today. It is also, in part, one of the reasons for the rise of the 3rd Reich which sought to put an end to it.

Never heard of Gnosticism until I experienced Gnosis
Then I learned about the Gnostics and knew without out a doubt that my innerstanding was what they were trying to convey
It’s complete empowerment and about saving oneself and GOD being an EXPERIENCE
I only experienced gnosis by becoming the best version of myself and realizing church was in the mind and how I thought about others in silence was just as important about how i treated them in life
Add a ton of self development , learning to live from the heart plus detaching from everything I WAS TOLD TO beLIEve.and I came into the perfect storm of transformation
A complete shift in consciousness and realized The ALL is consciousness and damn near everything in this world is designed to keep us from these innerstandings
So the notion that this is evil or anything other that liberation is beyond silly and ignorant to me 🙏
I Gno it’s what Yeshua was teaching too

As a Christian that's interested in gnosticism, I don't think it is at all disturbing to the Christian message, since Christ himself said his kingdom is not of this world, and that the ruler of this world (The demiurge) will be judged "The prince of this world now stands condemned". In which the common interpretation is that satan is being referred to as the prince of this world.

@@Matt-of2eq you can be a hindu gnostic, many people claim to be Christian gnostics, really all the main religions are one religion just told in different times and different cultures. Think of religion like a coin if you only study one you only see one side of the coin, pick up another you'll see the ridgid side of the coin, another you see theres another side and when you start to see it as a whole you can melt it down and see what its really made of.

    • @Matt-of2eq
      @Matt-of2eq ปีที่แล้ว

@@weazie2daEZ oh I'm aware. I came to understand that these religions come from a common source, interpreted through the lens of the culture it exists. So I believe spending time with the gnostic codices will be clearer than pouring through the many, many holy books of Hinduism. I still see the principality under Hindu terms and deities, but now I understand way better.
I'm going to expand because it may be relevant or interesting. I've had a few visionary psychedelic experiences. I was taken all the way to the top, outside of the 7th heaven and into what I interpreted as the Supreme godhead whom I recognized as Shiva at the time and became shaivite. Then I read the apocrypha of john and when the savior describes the nature of the universe and the heavens, it was like it was written directly from my memory. Then there are letters that appear as books, written so only truth can be discerned from reading that was described in the Sophia of the Christ. And on top of that I had a pretty clear show of wordly cosmology, the world of the demiurge. It seemed like knowledge but as I came out I caught a glimpse of the reflection of the holy spirit that told me everything I saw was false. It was very perplexing why I was shown all these things if they weren't real. And now I understand.
We fight not with flesh and blood, but with powers and principalities. And it was exactly as the savior said, it was a thief in the night. It was as if dawn shown and I came to see the shadows and terrors had no substance because they had no root. It was life changing finding those books.

This was a superb watch. I'm not Gnostic, I know nothing, I only follow God and the divine intellect personally, but that might mean something else to anyone, but I respect everyone regardless. No one is right for anyone else. Everyone has a small part of the truth, but that small part is so powerful that it makes you feel like you have everything. That is the power of God in a man's mind. The divine intellect. That part I agree with. Everyone has a part of the truth. You fall away from everyone else, and no one comes together to fit the pieces in the right way for unity. They are too busy with a needlessly complex, material existence and an ego, a collective ego, that justifies an incomplete relationship with God. Everyone does it not by choice but by design of our limited existential reality and perceptions. We are all forced to fake it until we make it. Denial of this is basically lack of an integrated ego, I feel.

I agree with you, but aren't you interested in the origin of your religion. For example I once researched where amen came from since its a prayer that Christians and many more manifest with all the time. This could be referring to amenhotep, an Egyptian God or even worse, to baal aka baphomet, a spawn of chaos and according to the Bible a devilish diety. Baal is probably the same creature as moloch, you know, the giant statue at that weird celebrity gathering with rituals that has been filmed once of twice. I am only sharing this out of a love for knowledge and nothing else, if you think I'm manic you can fact check it with a couple searches, even Wikipedia connects some of these clues.

My God is the God of brotherly love and forgiveness. The things the Catholic Church did, has no basis in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christianity was highjacked by evil men and twisted for their evil schemes. This is why translating the True Bible and literacy is/was so important. Can't make people murder each other for nothing, if they're well informed, intelligent, and have a good basis of morals.

And there was nothing bad about any of it - quite the opposite healed my body became more aware, started to understand things, know things and access information of mechanics of things and had experiences at the time I could not explain what was happening. You tell me to pray, you tell me to act like a christian and I will suddenly 'get' Christianity, I have never seen evidence that prayer works, or that prayer is even any different from meditation. I have never felt any reason to worship the christian god. If the christian god exists, I, very much like the gnostics, would advocate for his abolition. You are preaching to yourself far more than you are preaching to me.
So I tell you not to pray, but to seek the truth and knowledge of science and see that there is no need - dare I say no place - for a god to explain any of the structures of the universe.
Anyways since I'm just messing around at this point, here's a little poem I wrote a few weeks ago:
      Woe be unto the Christian
Who has made himself a slave
To the dictator of the universe
      And love how he misbehaves
They love as god torments them
And carry out for him wicked deeds
Who'd kill their first born son
Like Abraham, if God said it would please
      Woe be unto the Christian
Who worship a lord of flies
The demiurge of all things sick
And the real world of lies
      Woe be to the Christian
      who worship at god's feet
And hope he shall be merciful to them
If they march to God's demonic beat

Add to it that they are sinners and going to hell if they don’t bow to the saviour. Nothing could better cut us off at the knees more that using fear to control and create the greatest limiting belief in history; that we are powerless and have no ability or power within ourselves to save ourselves. If we collectively all realize that we are god and have unlimited potential. The kingdom of heaven is WITHIN YOU. Start believing in yourselves. 😉✨

The problem with Hancock's presentation is that he is saying just one gnostic cosmology, like if gnosticism is a religion per se when in fact is a retarded term for various groups that was seeking gnosis. The gnostic group he's talking about here is the Sethians who truly believes YHVH/Yaldabaoth is a demonic architec and not the real God. However, that isn't what every gnostic group believes. The Valentinians for example have a different grasp about the demiurge. So you can't make a presentation saying the gnostics believe in something and not specify what gnostic group you're refering to.

There are several facets to Gnosticism and those who don't understand it or prefer not to education themselves about it, condemn it. There is even disagreement among Gnostic views. Like it or not, however, Gnosticism was the very beginnings of Christianity prior to any Roman based church. Gnostic scriptures were around long before the New Testament was even compiled. Aspects of Gnosticism actual appear within various books of the New Testament. Most of the Gnostic texts very much promote Christ as a savior or redeemer, but view his mission was to wake humanity up to their divine origins. Rather than taking the path of Irenaeus and ridiculing Gnosticism, read some of the scholarly books of Elaine Pagels or April DeConick. Cheers and be well!

Graham talks enthusiastically about communing with entities whilst on dmt. How does he know if they are good or evil spirits? He says he is frequently visited by one he calls 'the trickster'. The trickster told Graham 'you're ours now'. Graham laughed it off, replying :'only for 12 minutes ' he told the audience of his lecture. He STILL argues that we have much to learn from these entities. wtf is he up to? This lecture here makes him come across as quite reasonable. But....his entity obsession would suggest otherwise. Crowley also had an entity obsession. His one was called lam.

    • @AncientTV
      @AncientTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

In my opinion I don't think Graham truly believes those entities are real in sense they are really part of our world not the other one. Because Graham doesn't see these entities all day(I hope) that's why he says "only for 12 minutes" and laughed it off like "In 12 minutes you will be gone Trickster bro, and I will stay". And about learning... I guess I could try to give "dip" answer (although I can't speak for him) but simple answer would be "we can learn not only on good things, but also on bad things. Learn not only who we WANT to be, but also learn who we DON'T want to be". Many and many lectures where Graham doesn't speaks about any entities at all. Crowley used I think really alot of different drugs and was "obsessed" by mysticism etc. different personalities. I hope my personal opinion was useful to you. Thank you for comment.

Gnostic metaphysics is I believe vital to understanding anything about Gnosticism.
The creator of all existence is the central flame of energy that radiates outwards from that centre into all realms.
Each realm of existence, including our own has its own unique conscious energy particular to the beings that inhabit them.
All beings within all realms are on a journey of growth towards God…..which is a never ending process of development, though it can be said that at a certain point in this evolution one can differentiate between a soul that is asleep and one that has awoken and thus become enlightened. This enlightenment is being aware of what is going on….you know why you are here and what you are to do with your life/lives.
The demon god that created our world is us, our collective consciousness, not the creator. The demiurge refers to our collective as a god. This world is full of suffering and it is far from the flame, but there are sparks that ignite in souls living in this world from time to time. There are realms that are far worse…..they are hell realms.
So the Catholics and protestants should not interpret gnostics as believing the creator God as evil, they view creation as good and all creatures as precious.
I find this presentation to be deliberately divisive. Yes, the church has done evil and it continues to do so, so do those who call themselves gnostics. Evil is a part of who we are and a part of our world……and we need to grow out of it towards something more beautiful, something more intelligent, something better, but we can’t do that if we don’t first acknowledge its presence within us. This is the way that leads to the tree of life, when our minds see what they see when we open our eyes…..knowing good and evil.

@@AncientTV Just want to preface with gratitude to you and Graham for posting this. I'm a fan of his work.
Point taken, but I don't think I'm being nitpicky by not considering 1100 AD early Christianity. A 1000 years is at least 10 human lifetimes of tradition and development. Also the distance between 0 AD and 1100 AD is greater than between 1100 AD and 2022 AD. A broader issue I have with Graham's criticism of Christianity is that it is very Euro centric. There were many, many years of Christianity before it spread to Europe. The Middle East, Asia and Africa already had established Christian traditions and churches. And I am unaware that these cultures went about destroying other people's sacred artifacts. I think this is a rather European cultural attitude.

Fundamentally it boils down to two basic principles:

*2.* 1,000 people with pointy sticks but are disorganized < 800 people with pointy sticks but are organized.

All that would do is create world-wide power vacuum and bring in the rise of warlords who would then take, by force, the prime real estate--their rule would create the seeds of birthing states anew.

If a person in ignorance prays to “God”the father, does the Demiurge try to reply with deception, or does the real most high God intervene, and involve himself?

So if its true that the Creator is really evil. Then how do you go an evil Creator?
How can the Creator even be evil if He created every good thing.
Maybe I'm to ignorant on the subject but it doesnt make sense to mw

Not that the creator is “evil” but rather created without following the I guess “right” process therefore allowing that particular thing to come into being also .. (was it ignorance or whatever it was)
