Thank you for your great videos! I'm still not sure this is right for my house...my house is slightly elevated so I believe the projector would have to be raised quite high. Am I correct? I've noticed, and someone else has mentioned, that we never get to see where the projector is sitting. A small box might not be bad but when I tested a short throw projector my husband uses for golfing, I had to raise it over 6 feet to shine on our house. In addition, I notice that many of the houses shown have a garage in the front, and smooth, light colored exterior surfaces. My house has many windows, gray siding and an artificial stone front. You mentioned frosted shower curtains for the windows...I would need about 12. I know this is a lengthy post, but the company has not responded to an email or phone message. If I knew their system was something I could return, I'd be all in. Your input is greatly appreciated!!!

Are you able to save the video to a disc or thumb drive? or do you always have to load it from the software? Also is there a good variety of stock images to use, and how easy is it to upload your own images
Yes you can save the mp4 The built in library of assets is pretty limited. But you can upload your own. We also have spun up our patreon to help folks find assets to use. Patreon.com/bairdmanor

Yeah take a look at the example shows with the title luxedo. Those are done with just the one projector. I have used it on the front and the back of the house. My house isn't big, though. Just shy of 2000 sq ft
Do you find the resolution of the projector is enough? I have 1080p projectors but wasn't going to do full projector mapping for my house till I had a 4k projector. My house is smaller than yours. I do like the weather proof built-in though. I may try the software only on one of my projectors. I tried after effects but found I need something simpler and like that this takes pics and I'm not tracing my house at night. Using a lot of atmosfx videos in my setup.

Awesome! You can do it from the ground, a stand will be necessary if the ground doesn't give you the coverage you want, with no shadows. My show on the front of our house we had to get the projector high to avoid a weird shadow from one corner of my house. But on the back it works fine from the ground
I can send you a pic. Our video of our projector box for our other projector is in the same spot though. I just olace the luxedo on the same box. Or when projecting on the back of the house I just have it on the ground
Sort of.. Digital pressworks usually uses a map drawn with his tool of your house. You could maybe send a screenshot of the 'snapshot' luxedo takes. Then he (or we could at Haunt Works) create a show and send you a video file. You'd upload that video and then make tweaks to it in luxeso software to make sure it fits. Feel free to contact us if you want to try it. We could do a simple test run.or help you build a show in luxedo haunt.works/
Hi I have been keeping a close eye on this system. I use after effects and a optoma. What projector do they use. I’m interested in the system how do you replace the projector if you move it
After Effects and Optoma is what we use for our main Halloween and Christmas show as well. I'm not sure what the brand is, but they have their specs on their site. My optoma is higher resolution and brighter
Thanks for the review. You said you spend time down loading effects off the internet. May seem like an obvious thing, but how do you do that, and are they videos? I know how to get images, but not effects, or videos.
Just use resolume arena.....they started developing the software 1998.....now hiting Version 7....over 20 years of Development...why bother with this stuff if there is software that can do it all better....and much cheaper.

I've been doing projection mapping for a couple of years, but have purchased all my videos from digitalpressworks.com. Matt has been great getting me up and running, so I appreciate his help. I've also purchased a projector that he recommended, the Optoma EH460ST. It is the cost of the projector that has kept me away from Luxedo, up until now. But you said in the video that Luxedo was going to break apart the projector from the software, sometime this year, so my eyes and ears perked up. I have always been a plug-n-play kind of guy, so it Luxedo does sell their software separately and I can still use my same projector, then you have provided the answer. That projection, combined with my LOR light display, will be a wonder.
Matt's awesome! I'm also excited to have the software separate. My projector i use for our main show is brighter and better resolution. But also have smaller projectors for small effects. So this will be cool to have as an option.

I am wondering do you have curtain material (atmos fx) on the windows for the projection? Like what I would use if I was using an indoor projector.
I have some of the atmosfx material for some use cases. My windows i usually use a frosted shower curtain
Does it include the accompanying FM audio solution or is that seperate? Or, is some other solution recommended for the audio?
It comes with luxradio which allows for people to stream audio on their phones with a 4 dogit code

How much effect does the ambient light from street lights have on the projection? Will this still work well even if you have street lights?
It really depends so it's hard to say.
