It's just that people are afraid that their car will be ruined or dirty. It seems strange that a hybrid sedan rides on dirt roads with puddles of water,
but in fact, any car can drive on dirt roads if the ride height is not too low and you drive carefully and slowly.

@@fenderbender5987 Yes... It is true that in countries with poor road infrastructure, reckless driving and poor maintenance of cars are true.
For example, European and Japanese cars are exported to Africa, the Middle East, Russia, and several Asian countries when they run for about 20 years.
When a car that has been kept clean in its home country is exported to another country on a cargo ship,
within a few years it becomes covered in mud and the bumpers are broken. :(
How miserable is that for a car?

There was one track that was so tilted, the Prius made it even look easy as I was busy trying not to tip over.

Prius is pretty common ride in Mongolia. By the way, in summer during July Naadam, a traditional Mongolian holiday is held every year and Mongolians visit countryside and camp in countryside pretty much every year. There you will see so many people driving prius in a very harsh off roads. The car is just insane. Its like its made especially for Mongolians 😂

I took a multi state road trip in my Corolla and found a road on the gps. I headed down it and the gps kept trying to turn me back. I ignored it and kept going. After a while it turned into a gravel/dirt road. I had gone too far to turn back so I decided to keep going. I was a little worried about getting a flat tire or bottoming out, there were some decent sized rocks on the road and it was pretty uneven. I just kept going and I made it through with no issue. I think it was around 10 miles until I hit pavement again. It was pretty fun. Somewhere off Route 66 heading into California. There were a bunch of old ghost towns nearby as well that were pretty neat.

@@User_305aq2 Front Wheel Drive (FWD). As for the transmission it has no specific "gears" as it is a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Now the only thing that means is the transmission does not have set speeds and instead can finely tune the ratio of rotation of the wheels to the rotation of the engine. The special part of the Prius is that instead of using a CVT with belts, like most cars (Nissans for example) it uses a planetary gearset to change the ratio of the engine to the wheels. It is quite a simple design that does a lot of stuff, and is difficult to understand. I recommend this video: th-cam.com/video/MsvVD0FaF28/w-d-xo.html
Though in total, the transmission design is largely to thank for the reliability and drivability of the Prius. Otherwise it is quite a simple vehicle.

Jeste Prius ozbiljan rival, ali može proći deonicu jednom, eventualno dva puta i možeš ga baciti u reciklažu.
