  • How can I get more shots down range no matter what I am doing? Maybe pick up an AR Shotgun. I did! I picked up the GForce GF12AR 12 Gauge shotgun. This is my first look and unboxing of this Assault Rifle Shotgun. This gun has a 18.5" barrel and comes with fold up sights, adjustable cheek Piece on the stock, picatinny rail for sight and accessories, modified choke, and two 5 RND MKA 1919 Magazines. I plan on hunting Turkey, Snow Geese, and Predators with it along with the most applicable use, home defense.
    This is the most affordable AR Style shotgun on the market. It is probably the most reliable shotgun on the market as well.

    My advice is to add a fore grip. The control with a grip is great. I used Winchester ammo for breaking in and have had no cycling problems with it.

    It's a sweet tool. I've seen that it needs a 100 round break in but I have no issues. The mags attach to the rails. It's a tight fit and will probably need a break in period. I oiled mine at it helps a little. DON'T BUY THE 10 ROUND MAGS

      I have a testing video I just did were I used the choke that is included. It's a Benelli Mobil Modified choke. I honestly don't think you will have an issue with anything. Before you start shooting make sure you lock the bolt back for about a week. It will help with making sure it cycles all loads. What is the Heavy load 50 gr ring thing that comes in the box used for and where do you put it?

    • @OutdoorJack
      @OutdoorJack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe that it is a heavy load ring to help cycle the larger heavier loads like say. 3” 00 Buck shot, slugs or something like that. I have not really tested anything with that yet.

    • @KingRaiders
      @KingRaiders 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a g force ar shotgun. The manual says to use 3" loads to break in the gun. You should practice breaking this gun down. It's not hard but it's a bit tedious switching the rings.

    • @OutdoorJack
      @OutdoorJack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can try and change the piston. The other thing to do is keep the bolt locked open, keep the gun oiled up and lubed up. May take 100 rounds to break it in.

  • @Fentoness
    @Fentoness 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey so i bought a gforce mkx3 and it wont cycle any birdshot... any advice?

    • @OutdoorJack
      @OutdoorJack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Make sure when your not shooting to lock the bolt back. Also, before your shoot make sure you oiled that bad boy up. There is a 1300 FPS shell requirement and most birdshot isn’t that FPS. However it will cycle birdshot once it’s broke in. Keep shooting. Usually takes 100 rounds to break it in.

    Do you need the choke in for home defense? And what's the best home defense load? I'm new at this thanks

    • @OutdoorJack
      @OutdoorJack  ปีที่แล้ว

      What choke you need is a little bit based on the ammo you’d use. I personally like using 6-8 shot bird shot for home defense. I say this because I have family in the home and in a home invasion there is a lot to think about. With bird shot your less likely to have any pellets go through your walls. But it is plenty to stop an intruder. Hope that makes sense. So what I would do is put in a Cylinder choke and load up with cheap bird shot.
