    UPDATE: I have had ZERO issues with my GF1. No failures at all. I took mine new from the box, took it down, cleaned it then put on fresh Remington gun oil on the vital areas. Loaded with 2.75 and 3" shells and had one heck of a fun day at the range. Guess it pays to read the user manual and follow the manufacturer / importers instructions and use appropriate ammo. I cannot wait to get back on the range with mine.

      Here is an idea, how about making the threads on these magazine tubes the same as popular shotguns, like Mossberg, Benelli, etc. We can cut off a roll at the end of the tube, but making proprietary threads is just stupid! All the Benelli clones do this, soo this seems a NO BRAINER, and makes any "excuses" for extensions not being an option, just that "an excuse".

    I have the Citadel Boss Hog version of this gun, it was on sale for $200 and then add a military discount of $40, it came to $160 plus tax out the door.
    First and foremost, when you take it home, disassemble it and clean everything, then lubricate every moving part, I also added a 8 round tube extension, so now it's a 8+1 gun.
    When I reassembled it, I twisted the return spring to loosen it up a bit, also make sure you feel for any rough spots on anything that moves in the gun and sand it down.
    Brought several boxes of high velocity ammo with me to break this thing in, before loading it, I sprayed some CLP into the chamber, and away we went.
    After what I believed was enough ammo going through it to break it in, I loaded 1200 fps ammo and it fired no problem, then some 1150 fps ammo and fired no problem.
    Took it home cleaned it again and has been firing with no issues since.
    I was fully aware the issues people were having with this gun, doing some maintenance before shooting it goes a long ways.

    I picked up a Turkish shotgun at Bud's Gun Shop in Lexington, Kentucky; a Linberta 01LSTAC, 12 ga. It had an M-16 style carry handle receiver with a really nice looking carbon-fiber-like finish (black barrel & mag tube), heavy duty tactical sights, 5 chokes, a shell bandoleer belt, and was very reasonably priced. I ran a "junk yard" of shells through it - slugs, high brass shot of all numbers, low brass field loads, mixtures of all configurations, and I couldn't MAKE IT jam for anything! I liked it so much I went back and bought another one with a flat top receiver. I left one in stock configuration. On the flat top version, I added a shell carrier and mag tube extension and a Blue Force sling. It just didn't need anything else. These scatterguns are the best kept secret in "run anything" autoloader shotguns. Funny thing was, I was Mossberg shopping for a 930SPX at the time. I think I came out better with the Linberta.
    *Note: This particular Turkish made scattergun required a Remington mag extension. I had to remove 2 threads off the factory mag because the end was crimped to capture the spring.

  • @vietnamtactical
    @vietnamtactical 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I kept my bolt locked back overnight and made sure the mag tube cap was screwed on tight and it never jammed with low brass.

    Black ace tactical pro s max is a little bit more expensive I got mine for like 369 from PSA. haven’t had any feed issues minus the first day ran it raw Dog on a sub 400 dollar gun it’s expected lol.. She has ran flawlessly ever since, have around 1400 rounds through the gun doesn’t really like the shitty Winchester white box but still cycled it ok. Seriously the third best semi scatter I’ve shot behind of course the Beneli M4 and Beretta 1301. Those things are in a league of their own and dang near triple the price. Best reliable bang for your buck semi on the market. Only downside is no rail for an optic but it’s a shotgun that’s ok

    Instead of cutting the Spring, I would have measured the Gasport. And then bore it out two thousands. And then keep going one thousands at a time till it functions reliably
