Something to add about weapon modding your weapons to different elements: if your weapon has no element then you should always add one to it. Making your weapon elemental doesn’t make it do any less damage than vanilla, it just means it does more to certain enemy types. The only exception here is N-Ray on automechanicals.
Because of the effects of N-rays, I prefer it on a long range sniping weapon, especially when enemies are grouped up. For close rage, I prefer a weapon with either plasma or corrosive elements.

I think they did this on purpose for balance reasons. The problem with the lockpicking and hacking minigames in Fallout/Elder Scrolls is that they effectively remove the RPG element from the skills. If the player gets good enough at them, they can pick any lock with only 1 lockpick. This method of using an actual resource that costs less depending on how good your character is at lockpicking brings back the RPG facet of it; lockpicking and hacking really relies on your CHARACTERS skill, rather than the PLAYERS skill.

Very much feels like Fallout, Deus Ex, and Mass Effect all mashed into one. Just shows that a game with very little hype can still deliver a decent product.
at 10:40, I didn't understand the explanation of 'goes down instead of up' when shooting armoured enemies - how is that indicated on the screen? The second shot you took with the rifle seemed to work the same way
Complex is a overstatement actually. It's actually simpler than games that fit that generalized RPG concept, and is more of a shoot and loot like borderlands. You just get a lot more choice. But this game is also buggy and crash prone. IF you do things outside of the game's scope by heading to planets or places that they clearly tell you not to go, or do crazy things like murdering entire populations wherever you went, and not along to the game's quest objective, the game is more prone to just outright crash. And graphically, the game has a unusual graphical issue in the inventory menu that previews characters... It's like the lights are off and you are seeing a very dark outline of the character.
a question about the consumables: i know that in supernova mode you have to eat, drink, sleep, etc. but in the other modes does eating even matter? and is there a difference between eating lets say the bread and putting into the hotbar to be used with the inhaler?
Big tip that I wish I knew: don't buy the landing coordinates from Gladys for 10,000 bits. Just land at the danger zone and fight your way into town. It may take multiple saves, but it's fun, and worth it for saving 10k.

long gun engineer here. GREAT GAME
Can't wait to see what the mod community has in store for this... get ready four years upon years of new content.
The second shot you took with the rifle seemed to work the same way
Do I need to keep any duplicate items?
Yeah, I don't see why people are calling this complex, fallout 4s system had more complex features.
Because they’re new
Juice was that "Euthanasia Kit" in your inventory an actual weapon? I haven't seen that one yet.
Very helpful
a question about the consumables: i know that in supernova mode you have to eat, drink, sleep, etc. but in the other modes does eating even matter? and is there a difference between eating lets say the bread and putting into the hotbar to be used with the inhaler?
What is the helmet in the thumbnail
'Although, outside of that.' Seems to be a very common phrase for JuiceHead. Its just a uncommon phrase thats interesting to me.
I noticed a few months ago he would say the word.... Indicative in most of his videos.... He's not said it in a while though
Big tip that I wish I knew: don't buy the landing coordinates from Gladys for 10,000 bits. Just land at the danger zone and fight your way into town. It may take multiple saves, but it's fun, and worth it for saving 10k.
Been enjoying this game slowly but surely its its something iv got to get use to since these past few rpgs have taken me out of the traditional ways of playing i find my self enjoying dialogue and enjoying taking different routes in conversation lol im going for a charming scientist kind of guy where i charm my way through and know my tech but slowly dish points into stealth and ranged
This is what fallout76 should have been! I love this game...
lol this game has many things we really wanted from fallout 76 :-S kinda funny how bethesda had such a major fail right before this was released. its kinda like fallout was sold to the chinese for a quick cash grab and all the original people left for outer worlds. lol
Well said
