Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
Stored food is never too much, here in Brazil in the south of the country we are in winter a lot of rain and cold for the next few days, congratulations for the video is very cool
Yep 👍 hope you don't have any problems with flooding 🤔 thank you 🙂
@@farmerspov4709 Thank you 🙏🏼
Hi, really like your work and dedication. I know it's a lot of hard work but for some, including myself, it would be a dream to be able to do daily what you're doing. I have the land, don't have equipment and i think what i have to do is just start. I'm mesmerized by every single uploaded clip. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, thats nice 🙂 yeah I think so too, you'll never know if you don't try. Thanks for watching! I hope you're successful in your endeavors 🙂
Your corn looks great dry here and as always cows are beautiful
Good maintenance!
Thanks, very nice video 🎉😊
Thank you 🙂
Good work
Im from germany bavaria and i love your videos so much.Thank you so much.👍🏼
Thank YOU 🙂
We'll hopefully get some rain at the end of the week. Second cut really needs it and the cereals too. The cereal crops are unfortunately very short though. Today we had thunder and little bit of rain.
Hope you do. Yeah here we go again, praying for rain but hopefully not with severe storms... 😬🙃
Great video again👍 👍 👍 ! Dang wild boars! Once i had a "meeting" with them in the forest. I came with the tractor on the forest road, but they were not in the mood to move...silly buggers😳 😐 🙄 ! Greetings from Bavaria!
Thanks 🙂 Ha, quite a meeting you've had 😬😁
Again a lovely Video! 🙂
Greetings from Bavaria!
Thank you kindly 🙂
Svaka čast za farmu, sve najbolje. Pozdrav iz Srbije. 🇷🇸
Hvala 🙂
👍👍👍👍 a french dairy farmer!
Thanks, very nice video
Thank you 🙂
Best🤩
Really enjoyed the video Gasper you always pick the best music it really complements the scenery Nice to see the second cut done Wilde boars seems to be a problem in a lot of countries do you try to keep the population under control they can do a lot of damage to crops and fields I've seeing in America even with hunting and trapping their out of control because the breed so fast one sow can have 6to 9 piglets twice a year
Thanks 🙂 well we have hunting societies for controlling wild boar population but as you said, it can still get out of hand 🙃
Hi! Why dont you attach a roller to JD? You could use only one tractor to work on silo.
I sometimes do, but the silo have to be full enough otherwise I can't compact all the way to the back wall. I could if I had front hydraulic... 😉
Another great video, so well done. Beautiful silage and a fine corn crop coming. You take very good care of your equipment. With all your turning back and forth as you work in the fields, you must get a very sore neck. Hope your wife is good at massaging. Do you have Tiger Balm there (from Thailand) really good to soothe muscles. Take care young friend.
Thank you 🙂 yeah sometimes 😬😁 no, not that I know of 🤔
Moin. 😀👍
Wish we had some rain looks like no second cut for us as we need to eat it😭
Your maize(corn)looking really nice as are the cattle
Yes I wish that too for you 😶 Thanks 👍
👏👏👏👍

Haha hvala 😁
Now that was a great and green video, so beautiful!! I already can smell the BBQ pork! Unbelievable how fast those wild boars can devastate a field, they are not picky eaters 🐷I hate to see the damage but what can be done 🐕🦺🪓☢️ What are your countries laws regarding wild hogs?? Someone in Germany I think had a YT channel where they went out with dogs and hunted down these wild boars, it was a fascinating channel like Farmer's POV 😁
Thank you 🙂 Haha yeah, only members of hunting societies are allowed to hunt them down, here 🙃
Is is aloud to control the number of boars? The grass looked quite heavy but great. I wish I had something to mow. Perfect arranged; fertilizer and rain right after. I rally like your cattle. Take care..
You have to be a member of hunting society, they are responsible for that. Yeah we've been having a fair amount of rain so far 🙂 Thanks! 👍
Why don t you increase the proteins of your Hay seeding a Little bit of alfaalfa?congrats for everything
Yeah might try it one day, we already seeded one field but it didn't grow well 🤔
@@farmerspov4709be patience..the First year Is never good...from the second you ll see It grow a lot
First view😊
Well done 👏🥇
❤️🤜💪🥰
Nice video 👍 Did you also fertilize the corn or only the grass fields?
Thanks, just grass fields.
Zdravo. Mene zanima koliko imaš kubično nakladalko?
Živjo, 25 m3, Euroboss 250T 😉
John Deere nin sağ ön tekeri yolda giderken sallanıyor, ona bakım lazım
Yeah, it's has since we changed the rims due to road hopping 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Great video. What breed are your milking cow. If you don’t mind me asking.
Thanks 🙂 simmental, brownswiss and some crossbred simmental x red holstein or montbeliard 😉
Wild boar are a big problem here too, and getting worse each year.
Do you have anyone taking care of the population?
@@farmerspov4709 Just people hunting and trapping them. It’s not enough though, their range is getting larger each year.
@@farmerspov4709 There’s a new breed from Canada making way into the northern states now, even larger and meaner animals.
Same history in italy

Hello Jasper ! My wish came tru you got your second cutting of grass and silage yahoooooooooooooo. Luscious green grass looking real good now maybe you won’t have to buy hay. Their’s the guy , I know and talk to wearing the cowboy hat . I still say your wife pick one hell of a man to marry she is lucky to have you. If you don’t mined me saying that . Because you know I’m married myself won’t cheat on my husband . Now your back wear bib hat that’s okay . You lost your helpers today or our they taking a day off. Silage is looking really good .Okay theirs your helper. Time to put a cage around that area to catch and take off to market they will destroy your crop plus multiply cause more trouble. You could sale the pigs and make money to help the people out in need of groceries. We do that ourself’s help the needy .Your beard and mustache is like my husband wow. Now you think you will be able to get a third cutting this year? The corn fields looking real good to oh her comes the rain. Canadian fire smoke has covered Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and heading down further there’s thick smoky can’t hardly breathe.Tell your wife , I said Hi hope she enjoys the quite time away from children at school.
Hi Rosemary, thank you 🙂 Yes the wild boars are a nuisance 🙄 So far it looks like we could get a nice 3rd cut 🙂 Yeah we're expecting smoke from Canada on Friday here too 😶 Yes she's enjoying summer break, she greets back 😁
