I used to love it as a student, but marriage and kids made me neglect it. Anyway, I read the Cruel Prince trilogy last month and loved it. Lately, I feel like every single one I read makes the book sound so unappealing, and then I actually read the book and it's amazing. Like we need to do better with those because I feel like I've skipped over potentially good books because the summary sucked.

i usually hate peoples who trauma dump in comment sections but I have to say I had a rough day- I witnessed a friends dog unalive his other dog and got bit in the process…I can’t close my eyes without feeling like I’m back there and I really don’t feel okay being alone right now & so I was able to turn on this video as I’m laying down and it’s calming my mind from racing. So my point being is that even though it’s “just asmr” you provide a comforting safe familiar face when people need it and that it very important. keep being amazing
My favorite KU series find so far is the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy. The last book comes out this August. It’s an enemies-to-lovers (but like fr, no insta-lust) romantasy retelling of King Midas. It’s really good. The main character has great development and there are several sub plots of political intrigue and bridge between worlds building.

I try to watch all your book videos but I sometimes fall asleep so not sure if it was mentioned or not yet but will be keeping an eye to see if it’s mentioned in any upcoming videos 😁 thank you for helping me get back into my reading girl era lol

January was also a "successful" reading month for me at 10, lol! Also, if Ninth House and Shadow and Bone weren't for you, but you liked the SaB TV show, try Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (the same author). I love the Six of Crows duology so much! It's packed and super funny (and the writing is better than SaB, imo)!

haley reading killing stalking?? oh when the universes collide deep down i love ks a lot probably bc i was my first ever manhwa and i refuse to acknowledge what koogi is trying to advertise it as. it could have been a great horror/triller manhwa if it wasn't for the abundance of forced s3x scenes. it's a pity she herself has started marketing it as bl because its clearly a horrific relationship between two very sick and twisted men and not a love story. i believe she was trying too hard to do fanservice with all the s3xual stuff

i read the ravenhood series in 2022 and it was a WILD ride !! it wasnt my favorite at the time but i think about it allll the time now so it definitely impacted me. aaand i dnf'ed zodiac academy book 1 once "FaeBook" became a thing AHAHAH 😭
If you love autobiographys, you should read Julia Fox's memoir. It's called DOWN THE DRAIN and it's AMAZING!!! It's also wild and my girl has been through SO MUCH OMG!
