- This is a soft spoken ASMR video of the official game guide for the elder scrolls V Skyrim. This book have been requested since I showed it in a future video projects haul and thought it was time to finally create some ASMR content with it.
I have been taking a little break from reading and replying to comments on my two latest videos previously, I want to sincerely thank all of you for the wonderful comments, I will try getting back into replying but I've been feeling very overwhelmed with social medias for a little while now.

Hey, love the video! I don’t usually look at the screen while I listen to ASMR, myself. But, when I heard you describing people’s complaints, I thought I’d throw you a couple easy fixes. If the camera is pointed at yourself, you can hang a black blanket behind you or if, like most of this video, the camera is pointed at an object on your table, you can lay a black blanket/sheet down on the table underneath everything, point a lamp or any soft light at the object, then turn the brightness of the video way down when you edit it.
The black background and lowered brightness will make it much easier on the eyes, and the lamp pointed at the object will make sure the object is still visible after lowering the brightness. You just want a very soft light to avoid glare/over exposure.
I love your voice so much! Just discovered you. I could imagine you reading the books from in the world of Skyrim on your voice and it sounding really authentic!

when Skyrim came out, i got this game guide with it, and i really liked it, was the most i ever used one. But i feel like it was also close to the last time one was useful because soon after you could just google or youtube anything you needed to know without looking into the book lol

To me the most important thing in a ASMR video is the voice. I dont care if the background is too bright or too decorated that if i dont like the voice i dont watch it, and yours is pretty good. So as long, you take care of the audio quality (the way you are doing) im fine with whatever angle or background you decide to use.
There’s still time to get into Skyrim, it’s timeless! I have played off and on ever since it came out and it’s still absolutely amazing 🎉

Personally I don't mind the bright background. I mostly listen to you whike I try to sleep, so most times I don't even have the video showing. However, if I may make a suggestion, if younever get a chance to have a dedicated space for making videos, perhaps you can give it a more "cozy" theme. It will assist with the asmr. Still, your current setup doesn't hurt your asmr. Your audio comes in really clear. So thanks for that. The position of your camera is fine for now I feel. Personally I would like to see your treasures better but how they are presented now suffices. Thank you for another enchanting video.
Thank you for the feedback and the suggestion, I was thinking about recording inside of the gaming room when it was supposed to be done.. but I'm entering a 'not-so-midlife-midlife-crisis' and wanting to sell my entire gaming collection.. being able to start with other interests and so on.. I will see what I will decide ☺️
@ErudwenASMR interesting. I'm curious to see what comes of all this. It would be nice to see in the background perhaps your collection as you move on to other topics. Some of these were items you sought and held value to you as a child. But, if you feel differently about them now, then perhaps it is therapeutic to let them go. As always it's your very nice asmr that will be the star. We are passengers on your journey.

Erudwen, you can't please everyone. I personally love your videos as they are and as long as the sound is good I couldn't be more content. I can't speak for everyone, but I think that the general consensus is that we would rather have quality sound over anything else, which you provide superbly.
With that said, I love/loved Skyrim growing up so this was a very welcome video!

My favorite game
On the topic of Skyrim, what was y’all’s first build? :) mine was a archmage wood-elf who could transform into a beast.
It's definitely an interesting combination. I have put in over 3000 hours into skyrim over pretty much every platform it was released on, and I still haven't played every single build possible. Skyrim is my all-time favourite game, I know people say it isn't the best rpg, but I don't care. No other game comes close for me.
