The best part about my experience with Granblue Fantasy: Relink is that I wasn't really making exceptions while I was playing. I found the scale and options during gameplay to be just what I wanted, and the unique elements, such as Link Attacks and deep character customization, were just the icing on the cake. I should also mention that the experience doesn't require you to know about Grunblue; I mean, I've only really watched the Anime and played through Versus, but I have never played the mobile game. So, as a general fan of the series, I can't wait to jump back in when the game releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on February 1, 2024.

Early ..... is kinda misleading this games been pushed back so many times. It was literally in a race with skull and bones. Who could delay more times, and length of delay .
@@sagepirotess6312 they mean early from the release. Also coming from Babylon's Fall, they were objectively right Platinum outside gameplay wouldn't be able to handle a AAA multiplayer game at all. It's similar to No Man's Sky where they've just have a disappointing empty mess if it came out and they were silently improving the game.

I love fantasy JRPG'ish series. This is one game i'm looking forward. I never usually buy games on release date but i'm sure as hell getting this right away.

Man, this looks good. This sandwiched inbetween Like A Dragon IW and Persona 3 Reload. And FF7Rebirth a month later. And Eiyuden Chronicle in April. Start of the year is already stacked for JRPG lovers.
Only thing I was sad to learn about was Gran/Djeeta losing the job class system.
Maybe one day we'll get a version of that in the big budget games.

I'm not a grand blue fan, never played anything. But this game looks sick and I love anime. Looks like a single player game with a good campaign and an actual end game. Definitely will be trying this out seems right up my alley

@@_CrimsonBlade I meant I can only play one of them at a time, and given how long Persona 4 and 5 were, I'm gonna be playing 3 for a long ass time. So it will be a while before I can play Granblue.
I'm glad I have been playing mobile game for over 6 years now. Knowing story, world and characters make the experience from relink even better.
Super excited for this!!!!!! Just started playing Versus Rising last night do that will keep me busy until this finally comes out!
For some reason I thought this game was cancelled. I look forward to trying it out.
I can't play ff7rebirth since it's ps5 exclusive so this will be my most anticipated jrpg of next year.
My only gripe is, the camera seems a bit far away and there are so many things happening on screen, or maybe its just me getting older lol.

Yea there are lot special effect. Should be able to tone it down at setting.
Btw if the camera is too close you wont see anything with this special effects so choosing more far camera is fit
I'm hyped, they actually used Fediel's and Lu Woh's theme for Radis.
I know nothing about this series but all of the other characters look way cooler than the main character.

@@TheNratGran and Djeeta look cool too, just take a look at their Conqueror of the Eternals skin or better yet, their Guider to the Eternal edge skin.
Maybe coz Gran and Djeeta only have their default outfits here. In the mobile game, they can change classes/jobs and have some of the coolest lookin skins in the mobile game.

I am pure hype for this game. Hopefully you have easy access to all the characters so I can just make whatever party I want from the get go
Probably not easy. Besides Gran/Djeeta, I think they've said you start with Katalina/Rackam/Io/Eugen, maybe Rosetta, and Rolan is a story unlock.
The rest you unlock with character vouchers which you earn as you play through story mode, so it's going to be spread out at least a little bit. You get to choose the order of characters you unlock with the vouchers, though.

Can you as the player switch control between party members during battle ( example: attacking as djeeta then switching to katalina performing an art during battle)
No you cannot. Character swaps can only happen in a hub area

Is the online aspect independent from the story? Would you need to create a character for the online? Or would online unlock as you progress the story?
You unlock multiplayer quests and characters through the single player campaign. There's isn't a create a character.
when you do your full review do the character have their uncensored outfit in the game?
Oh good, for a minute there I was worried about not having enough JRPGs in the first 2 months of 2024. Like a dragon infinite wealth, persona 3, this and final fantasy 7 rebirth. Is there some mechnaism which demands all new JRPGs to launch in this period? 🤔 😢
Yes, it's called end of fiscal year lol. The fiscal year ends on March 31 and companies all want to end strongly so they release their games in the last quarter.
Actually hyped for this - hoping for some good co-op hardcore multi-phase boss fights.

The quest based things and generic anime stuff doesn't excite me so much. It's all gonna come down to how the gameplay and gameplay loop feels.

Let's support this masterpiece.....it has been in development so many years and finally we can play it soon. It deserves a lot of recognition and I'm pretty sure we'll get more characters on dlc (there's more than 50 characters on the mobile game) if the game succeeds on sales.

Got the demo but just couldn't get into the combat.
Everything else looks great, but even with having so many characters, I just couldn't get into their playstyles either.
I made a mistake buying Tales of arise at release, will wait for this to get cheaper to get into it.
Praying there's a final unannounced Eternal character; the character list on their website is asymmetrical without one more for the bottom row. :^)

This game has plainly come a long way since the first demos we saw years ago. The final product will probably be a lot more polished than most new releases. Looking forward to it.
I’m so insanely hyped for this game. February is already stacked with P3R and FF7R but this might be my most anticipated game from that month. Honestly my only concern so far is the UI. It looks awful IMO

I said this on another Granblue Fantasy video. But this game gives "Infinite underscovery" vibes, a very Underrated gem that people who like jrpg's should definitely try. I'm hoping it feels like it too, i've wanted another game like IU, hopefully this game does the trick.

How does the character unlock system work? Is it like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, or do you unlock them organically through the story?
You unlock them throughout the story
You get character currency which you get from playing the story and you can choose whatever character you want to unlock.

That is the only thing that worries me about the game. The shouting during fighting is a LOT.

Yes it does. Quests are set difficulties, and quests get harder as you progress through the game. Very hard is the hardest difficulty we've seen, with bosses bein crazy with one shot attacks 👍

Monsters are bullet sponge, every combat feels like it takes 15minst to beat…looks beautiful but meh, probably won’t touch until under 20$

@@eliasacevedo5711 an empty open world does not mean good level design such as a corridor with a few scattered chests with a potion inside. Good exploration is made up of an intricate map with secrets and significant rewards that reward the player for exploration.
