When I watch Parlsment members talking yelling on a TV, oh yes, I see narcissists. Even our finance minister (in Finland) said "There is no room for empathy in politics" 🙄 And it shows...

I do not know where the time went or I must have been so busy all these years. I was not born into the world of cell phones, selfies, and where children are revered as Greek philosophers. SO many narcs now, SO many lonely, and SO many with 1st world problems. The kids are always angry and weird, a bunch of wrinkled adults have regressed in age to like 13 years old.

My ex narc boyfriend did this very thing. He would bring over lawn tools that I already had and conveniently leave them in my garage. Same with cookware, and other various household items. After I escaped, I gave everything to a friend of mine so I didn't have to look at them. When he tried to contact me to get them back, I texted him my friends number and then had him blocked. Unfortunately I had to get a TRO to get him from stalking me at home and at work.

Even with a solid "no contact" regime, as in the case of a sudden, unexpected death, it's still a struggle to shake the emotional thinking!

Omg who would want to get in touch with the person who tried to destroy you! You’re damn lucky to get rid of them! Thank you HG 💛

As an empath after my last relationship I can smell narcissism in the air and on people. I never used to read people but I can now. My neighbour is envious of me and I don't need her to tell me but her actions speaks and how I knew was she sent her middle child to spy on me but again I didn't react so she told her children to ring my bell and ill open the main door for them as we live in a block of flats and again I didn't react and the other thing she did was when she saw me in town centre she faked smile and said hi to my baby faking it thinking I won't know or see her through her fakery and I did see it and another was when I wore my lounge wear and went downstairs to put my bin out, she saw me and said ( where did you get that from, I want that) I saw her through her entitlement so I ignored her and went back to my flat with no comments. She's tried so much to get me to react to her negative actions but I don't, I ignore her and treats her like she doesn't exist. And as for the lounge wear She saw me with, the following day she bought one for her middle child. Its a pandemic and I blame our British culture to be fair. Children ain't discipline or held accountable for their actions but instead spoilt with material things and are lazy as adults. In my daughters school they're more obese kids in 2023 including my narcissistic neighbours middle child than before.

Not from Northern Hemisphere , but can sense the narcassiticly inclined , in the community , including the neighbours .
Ther malicious gossip , now has the police interested , as they've followed up on the gossip , stalking me thru town , or when I go into the local park , to collect drinking water , from the spring fed stream , and enjoy the space , with water falling , unafraid birds & insects etc .
Like you , I avoid my neighbours , as much as is possible & 30+ years of GOSO in an apartment block is no mean feat , though do-able .

It's interesting that the description of seeing the narcissist everywhere, is similar to grieving, the same thing happens.

Soooo relieved to have listened to this. Emotional thinking really is the enemy within.

The type of car he drove was a very common make and color. A motorcycle. His favorite sports team. Those were all triggers of him for me.
I don't even have any kind of relationship with HG and I thought my name was being highlighted in the chats. My name had 2 lower case letters that were spaced. Whenever there was a a word ending with g and the following word started with a p it automatically highlighted it thinking I was being referenced. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
    Emotional thinking sucks.

Thank you for introducing the new concept of ever presence to me. I believe I have a friend who has narcissist in their life through family who practices ever presence by texting them a certain word game every morning, and have made a point to say at social events and family gatherings that it is just so that their children “know they are alive and made it through the night OK“ ever-presence…..

Come now, HG. Even by your estimates, Narcissists make a large minority in the general population. However, they are a small majority in my extended family. So I tend to think of people as being gormless midrangers who are always entitled. And after Christmas when these tossers suddenly feel they need to lecture me about how bad a person I am makes me be even more vigilant. Completely of topic, but it's how I feel ...

Why don't I see the narcissist everywhere?
    1. You have left no room for Him in your heart
    2. You haven't filled your house with photos of him
    3. You don't have the screensaver with his photo
    4. The neighbor is not the narcissist
    5. You don't live in his house
    6. You don't drive his car
    7. You don't work together
    8. You have no children together
    9. You don't have a dog/cat together
    10. You're on a desert island for an extreme survival course

It's true - about the cars ! Your mind subconsciously recalls a certain colour owned by ie MRN and because the mind has that 'memory', the same colour car seems to stick out more than other coloured cars. Yes, the explanation of "ET conning you" makes sense in this particular example. Eventually, as time goes by, so does the "ingrained" memory and so the number of the same colour cars appear to 'reduce'. Great video, thank you HG 🤍
