When you drop the shadows I wanted to point out that the shadow should only drop down to the box underneath, but since the shadow is shaped like a triangle, the shadow drops down to the air between the boxes at the edges. You would get more realistic results I'd say if you cropped the triangle to fit the bottom box
Really nice explained! Just one thing that maybe you want to share in the future. I just installed Illustrator and I did not have the same set of Work-windows as you do. I figured it out by myself but it took some time before I could start with the Gradient work. Anyways, keep up the good work! =)
dude. He must've written it somewhere. And otherwise also, hex codes have a science behind it. You use softwares like photoshop and illustrator, etc. long enough, you understand the math behind it and learn how to use it. It's not really from the top of one's head.
You're a machine! The way you just know Hex codes like that is a madness!

I think the best way to do the shadow is to copy the base panel and use a feathered effect rather than to create a triangle with a drop Shadow.
when you enabled the transparency on the 2nd block I made all kinds of sounds. So satisfying!
Isometric is one of my favorite kind of arts. More isometric goodness please!

Rather than ungrouping, editing, and regrouping, couldn't you simply double click on the grouped object to isolate it?

Please turn up the volume on your microphone.
plz turn up your speakers.
Funny. The point is, his videos are the only ones where the volume is so low and it's jarring and annoying.
5:19 Wait a sec, are you just making up RGB codes off the top of your head? Like, you know what codes correspond to the color your thinking of?

por fa en espanol desde PERU LIMA
Awesome stuff dude but could you slow it down a bit! You talk so fast.
This is a not a good way. Draw a isometric grid with lines and transform these lines into guidelines instead.
Just because he doesn't use isometric lines. How does that make it not a good way?
stop acting like you didn't have those rgb hex written down
