My condo association collected insurance claims payment and failed to repair my units they even told me to take a loss or go to court to repair only if the judge order them to pay they will pay and my attorney telling me that I can’t get awards for punitive damages and he was ready to prove my case 6 months ago and after he showed the insurance documents to the judge the judge decided to extend the court date another 4 months because the defendant has to find a way to defend themselves because they got caught with their hand in the cookies jar soon after I got another water leak in the same place and my attorney told me to let the defendant fix my units I mean what kind of attorney is that ? I reply back by telling him that my units is in dispute and as he knows I already working with my Contrucion guy but I would let defendant inside my units to inspect and I would be video recording them the all time, after that I sended a complaint request to my condo to contact their insurance company to fix the roof properly because obviously they failed to repair properly reason why I have leak again here Iam acting as my own attorney again my attorney I smelled misrepresentation he tell me my condo can refuse to repair even if the insurance pay for my repair the public adjuster estimate was very detailed with the price breakdown and the payment basically my attorney is telling me that a condo corporation can commit fraud and they don’t have to face any consequences it just doesn’t sound right because it’s not right find the way to represent yourself because you can’t trust your attorney if defendant has money they will buy out your attorney it happened to me one and it looks like is happening to me now again this is the state of ct. I will update the end result of this case
