My First Drive in the New Ferrari 812 GTS!

- This is the brand new Ferrari 812 GTS and an exclusive first opportunity to discover all about it! My friends at Dulac Cars have just taken delivery of the newest addition to their collection, so what could be better than a first drive in the GTS, joined by the 812 Superfast as well!
Ferrari last offered a series production front-engined V12 Spider back in 1969, in the form of the Daytona 365 GTS/4. Since then a few limited edition specials have surfaced including the 550 Barchetta, 575 Superamerica, 599 SA Aperta and most recently the 10-unit F60 America. However launching 50 years further on from the Daytona Spider, the 812 GTS has arrived that brings a hard top folding roof to the winning formula of the 812superfast.
The Ferrari 812superfast itself launched a few years ago to follow-up the Ferrari F12berlinetta, and what a car it is with amazing looks and a phenomenal driving experience. Up front sits an exceptionally potent 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 that puts out 800hp and 718nm, combined with Ferrari's latest technologies and driving dynamics to offer the ultimate in super-GT experience. The only possible way that could have been improved would be the arrival of a convertible version, and we now have that in the form of the 812 GTS.
With a roof that can open in 14 seconds, or a rear window that can be lowered independently, the 812 GTS brings even more of the aural symphony to the cabin that you'd hope to experience, without losing anything beyond some of the luggage space, as would be expected.
You join me visiting the garage of Dulac Cars, a private collection of supercars that are each wearing magnificent specifications, and very much driven as daily drivers. The brand new 812 GTS has only just arrived, as a new addition alongside the 812superfast that has covered 20,000km in the last 18 months, and a Pista Spider in the highest of Tailor Made configurations that would be possible.
This specific car is in Grigio Silverstone with a stripe added to link to the heritage of the most valuable 250 GTO ever sold, and finished with an Iroko brown interior. As we kick off from the Dulac Cars garage with both 812s together, it's time to head out onto the roads in convoy to get a first drive impression for the new 812 GTS and what it's like!
Having always loved the 812superfast, my expectations for the GTS have been very high, particularly with interest as to whether it should become a future Shmeemobile. Needless to say, it doesn't disappoint!

The 812 was already a great car... Now this being a convertible is just icing on the cake

moriart13 lol it’s like comparing two fighter jets. It’s a GT car with 800 HP. It’s scary fast mate. And the 720s sounds ABSOLUTE TRASH compared to this NA V12. I’d take the Ferrari any day.

I saw an 812 Superfast pull out of a Ferrari dealership a few miles from where I live and when the dude driving it saw me admiring the 812 he started revving the engine. Will never forget it.

Lovin the car! and the content as usually. But just want to say that, Allways when i read the comments on your videos, i really realise why i keep comin back yo watch your videos. I've dreamt about Ferrari making something like this for quite some time. I'm so mesmerized with the car I'd get covid in a blink just to experience that sound.

Shmee thank you for a great evaluation of this beautiful car , I put my order in for the 812 GTS in March and was approved by Ferrari in June and guaranteed a production spot and I also have a GTC LUSSO and I decided to keep it and sell something else. I think the Ferrari 812 GTS will be a instant classic and maybe last Ferrari normally aspirated V12 Ferrari .
That 812 looks so good. In my opinion it looks even better in yellow. It looks gorgeous.
The spec is almost bang on, a Tim accent/carbon enhancement that is spot on (AWESOME); I Thank You. Cheers's from East-Van B.C. Canada.

I had the privilege to experience the 812 superfast for myself last summer in a similar spec as that GTS: Grigio Titanio with brown leather comfort seats and white interior accents. It was everything I expected it to be and way more! Clearly the soundtrack is the most important and impressive box that gets ticked. And that gearbox is a gem, so lightning fast! You’re totally on point brother, we all need to experience and enjoy these cars while they’re here. I can tell the gears are turning for you and the potential for an 812 GTS as a future Shmeemobile haha! These 812's are one of the most epic Ferrari's of the moment and of all time I think. V12 NA. One of the last and the best! I saw a 812 i a dark red (Rosso Fuocco or Fiorano I think) with a sort of brown interior. What a piece of art!

Ugh, this is my number one dream car.
I just bought one and it's sitting in florida until I come down for Cars on 5th and events with the Ferrari Club. This video has me so excited. I can't wait to go play with it. They will get it shipped to Ohio once I return home.
