Great video Sam and a WARNING to others on here as there is a scammer trying to pretend they are Sam under Behind the glass brand asking to DM him on telegraph then calming they have won a car.
Yup happened to me about a month ago, it looks pretty genuine but be warned they’re just after your personal data and probably fees to release your prize car!
Happened to me too.
Luckily I realised before engaging with the scammer.
I'm really enjoying these real estate videos, especially because they are still centered around the cars. The cinematics really take it over the top!

I also like to add that Sam is one of the very few big youtubers out there who's 100% genuine both on and off camera that makes everyone feel like they're included and just overall a normal cool car guy that you could hold a conversation for hours and laugh with without feeling awkward. Something i haven't seen for a very long time.
Fully agree with you, as Sam is just him all the time... and that definitely comes across on his videos... and like someone else said,he treats his vlogs as fun instead of a job,even though it's his job,and wished more people appreciated that, as he well deserves to have a million subscribers at the very least,for being his true self and having fun with it all...

I live in East Van, and I forget about this level in the city too. It would be interesting if he actually showed what’s available for 1.2-1.5 to give people some context 😅 I’m just stoked to see some awesome Vancouver content.
Drove that road from Calgary (via Bamff) to Vancouver (and V Island) three years ago and while I was in a big SUV, it was truly magical and you brought back those happy memories; thank you!

That Pista Polenta is highly revered locally. Thanks for giving us your driving perspective. I had no idea that 100% focus is required.
A 812 GTS is my dream car. We get a large amount of rainy days here so putting that rear window down is a huge bonus. I drive a 650S spyder and I get to enjoy that engine sound a great deal even on rainy days!!
My ideal spec of an 812 GTS would be the Rosso Mugello, forged matte black racing wheels, Titanium pipes, CF int, red rev counter & passenger display. I'd also like to personalize a few things like piping on the seats, prancing horse highlighted, upgrade the sound system (When sitting in traffic) and maybe a Pista stripe if possible🙂
Here in Van City house prices went through the roof around 2004.
A 1980 built 2600 sq ft home in Richmond on a 5000 sq ft lot (near that Porsche location you visited) was about $300K in 1999. In 2004 over $450K, 2009 about $600K and today about $1.6M That's just for a "Nothing fancy" home. A NEW build after the tear down on that lot is $2.1M

The ask is high unless it included the furniture, cars, etc. as it is assessed at $15M Cdn. That's what the property tax is taken from.
Annual costs; Taxes=$78K , Insurance= $124K (not contents) Other (Maintenance, landscaping, etc) = $60K/yr.

Very entertaining video Sam, that house is amazing! Also a nostalgic video for me cause in 2009 I've spend almost 2 months in Vancouver and drove that sea to sky highway to Whistler many times, I miss those sea and mountains views along the Howe Sound and Vancouver is amazing city 🤩 Also took the trip in a rented car from Vancouver to Canadian Rockies, slept for 3 nights in the passenger seat just to able to see the Rockies, I hope you will film that drive well, and also stop by Lake Louise and Moraine Lake at least, please don't rush through the Rockies, we need a proper video from there 😁
Sam, you have absolutely smashed the video production side, which is lacking massively with rival channels. This is the secret by the original God of You Tube Casey Niestat!!!! I appreciate it takes time and effort to create/edit but boy it’s worth it!!!! Compare your videos to your rivals who create daily content - it’s by far superior!!!!

Being from Vancouver foreigners don't realize this city is like the Monaco of North America. The amount of wealth here is unparalleled, even the average person walking down the street is likely very rich (comparably speaking). When Sam says an average house is 2M, that's more a low end/tear-down price entry-level condominiums here sell in the 1M+.
Those have to be the coolest guys to hang out with.
These mid week episodes feel like a gift from God.

Stunning beauty everywhere in this episode. You are a great ambassador for Canada. Your videography really does it justice. Of course, the west coast is stunningly beautiful. Housing costs are nuts. Very similar in Toronto. Ave price for a detached house in Toronto is over $2m.
Good to visit not to live, especially Toronto that city is a grey bubble. Its a "live to work" culture. I grew up hear and thankfully left.
@@matt260 It does have more of that vibe. Crowded, live to work and a lot of really unattractive architecture. But... there are some amazing little pockets. Like by the Humber River park system. All the benefits of a large multicultural center living in a natural setting. I can walk nature trails just outside my house for miles. But tough to enjoy driving because you are tired of traffic by the time you get out of the city.

Good to see you in my hood. I love seeing my town through the eyes of others. My $2 million home in Vancouver is much more humble than the real estate you're showing and if you want to go for a spin in my exotic Miata, DM me. Vancouver is lovely and there's lots of supercars here but only because there's a lot of wealth here. Most of us are being crushed by the cost of an entry level condo or apartment, and expensive family cars.
"Living the Dream" springs to mind, enough said ! 😊

I don’t like a lot of mega homes, but this one was livable and didn’t feel like a commercial building. It did feel like a hotel, which is unavoidable, but the classic features were nice.
