    Can't wait to see the next series! Like all the mods to your fj, very compact yet functional, might have to look at some of your ideas for my jeep. And thanks for showing the history of the area, makes me want to travel to Australia and see it in person.

      Thank you! Yes, that’s spot on - the FJ is compact yet completely functional. There are so many ways to do things. Hopefully it’s given you some ideas!!
      Australia is huge & amazing. Plenty more trips coming up. Thanks for watching & hope you make it to Oz one day!! :)

    Brilliant mate, a lot of work went into the series. Can I ask What cameras and gimbal set up do you use? We are hopefully heading there next month, did you need permission for the drone? Cheers

    • @4xAdventures
      @4xAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks very much! I’m using a variety of cameras. Everything from GoPros to DJI Mavic Pro drone to Panasonic GH5 & 5S DSLM cameras. No gimbal, just practice with the cameras generally. :)
      Enjoy Mungo - it’s a magical place!

      @@4xAdventures brilliant, yep I love my Lumix gh5 too and got the s5 last year, we’ve just booked…the lodge! 😂 I was hoping to take the swag but after the comments about snakes my wife doesn’t want to camp 😝

    • @4xAdventures
      @4xAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the GH5’s are fantastic cameras. The lodge has showers etc. so you will be in more civilised surroundings :)

    Nice one, great job! By the way, is it possible to drive a 2wd in dry condition or it really needs to have a 4wd to go there? Thanks!

    • @4xAdventures
      @4xAdventures  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thankyou! A 2WD would probably be ok for a lot of it, but you would be far better off in a 4WD as the condition of the tracks can vary. It’s best to check the tracks on the Mungo National Park website beforehand.

    What map do you use and is driving at night dangerous?

    • @4xAdventures
      @4xAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, I use Hema Maps, both paper and electronic versions. I try to avoid driving at night whenever possible, but sometimes there is no avoiding it. As long as you drive slow enough to avoid obstacles and especially animals that may jump out from the bush) & have sufficient lighting, it’s perfectly safe.

      Hi, thanks for information on Mungo national park, very informative. Just curious have you ever visited this park in dec? & how is the weather like?

    • @4xAdventures
      @4xAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. Thankyou, I’m glad you found it useful! No, I haven’t visited in December, however two things are true of any outback location in summer - it is likely to be pretty hot (35C+), and there will be a huge number of flies. I personally don’t mind the heat, but the flies are extremely annoying. You can always find yourself a fly net to wear which will make it less annoying. 😊👍
