Excellent rundown of the ping shaft line up for the 2021 irons ...
I would love to see an in depth look at graghite iron shafts in different wieghts and flexes to see how the can benefit the average golfer....
I saw a review by Mark Crossfield on how lighter shafts could produce more ball speed for most golfers I would love to get your thoughts on this can lighter graphite shafts help the average golfer... I currently play JPX forged 921s with project x 6.5 shafts and never realy considered playing graghite shafts before but would definitely change if it helped me play better....

I love my AWT shafts, and I wanted to actually switch them over to non ping heads. Do you see any issue with that?

Very informative. I’m looking for a light shaft with senior to regular flex in graphite to go in my isi beryllium/copper sand wedge. My other irons are g30 with senior graphite shafts from Ping and I’m not sure what the name is but they’re blue. Would you have a recommendation?
    Thanks

What I'd like to know is are the steel shaft parallel tips or taper wich they used in the past ? Taper tips is playing stiffer , no for your average hitter! Moreover, do they have a steel shaft in A flex ? Thanks

I would have liked to see Jacki hit all
These in the same g425 head.

Can I please ask you for your opinion i have purchased the g425 irons and have the alta distanza 40g shafts in them and was custom fitted for them. I am finding it difficult to reach the distance i was originally when I was playing with the Nippon ns pro stiff shafts could this be the reason

It could be the adjustment to weight. You will be getting more club speed with the lighter shaft but that is a big jump and you may not be hitting it as consistent adjusting to the lighter shaft - Thomas

Question on the AWT 2.0 shafts. You list the weight at 98 grams, yet say the longer irons are lighter than the shorter irons...what are the weight differentials? (Is the 98 grams in the middle irons, or is that the top or low weight)? I'm a mid to high handicapper so am debating on these or the Nippon 105 shafts for the Ping G710 irons. Thanks.

PING's specs are measured off the 7 iron. AWT stands for Assending Weight Technology. So the weights will vary with the length of the club/shaft.

Seems the AWT 2.0 is an all around shaft

Hey, what is the closest shaft to nippon 950gh neo regular or normal 950gh. Does the elevate shaft have same feel and smoothness

Why don't they put the correct weight on each shaft for the relevant flex instead of having a Tour 110 shaft that actual weighs 130g ?

It is the way the shaft is cut. you have the exact same shaft in PING as other manufacturers it is to do with the shaft profile before and after being built - Thomas
