Another fun video. As usual great sightings, particularly birds we have never seen. Your last series inspired us to visit Hluhluwe-Imflozi in September. We also did some amateur birding in the St Lucia area. One morning in Hluhluwe we saw a black rhino, wild dog and lion before 8:00, coffee and rusks. The guide said, I guess we can go home now.
Amazing video, as always! I'm a pretty new subscriber, but I've adored everything I've seen so far x Just one thing! The egret at 4:39 - I'm pretty sure it's a Yellow-billed Egret, rather than a Great Egret. Shorter bill, seems like a shorter neck and a much shorter gape than the Great Egret, which extends beyond the eye x
My wife and I are both South Africans living near Seattle, Washington. We are so enjoying binge-watching your videos in the parks. We have both been to Addo, Hluhluwe, and Kruger many times, and we love the trips down memory lane with you. I have spent many hours in several bird hides with Robert’s bird book, binoculars, and a Nikon. We’re really looking forward to getting back to visit again! Really nice editing work! Dankie vir die uitstekende werk!
Thank you so much for your comment 🤩🙌🏼 Unfortunately no trip this December 😖😖 We are moving soon so are not going anywhere this holiday. But we already have two trips planned / booked for 2024 🤩🙌🏼
We use the Sasol eBirds. Not the best app on the market, we would love to upgrade but our lifer list is on this app and not keen to start from scratch 😖 Highly recommend the Robertsons App 🙏🏼 My folks have it and they love it. But the Sasol is a lot cheaper and does the job 😁🙌🏼
Soos gewoontlik puik episode dankie julle twee en dis flippen mooi daar
Thanks for the awesome video
Delightful as usual. You sure had a great variety of birds on this trip! Greetings to you both, from a chilly Canada!

Like you, we are also South Africans who live vicariously through Stacey and Rickus's vlogs, and live in Canada!
Ntandanyati is actually a bird hide not picnic site...nevertheless awesome episode!
Awesome Stacy and Rikus are you off to Kruger again for Christmas?
