Day 7 - Lower Sabie. LIONS FROM THE LOWER SABIE DECK!

- Probably the best thing we have ever seen from a camp. A whole pride of lions on a giraffe carcass. Unfortunately we didn’t see the actual kill (but whoever was enjoying their meal with a kill happening just across the river is was very lucky!) and we didn’t see the giraffe itself, we did however see lots of commotion and crocodiles trying their luck at the free meal on the sand banks.

It was super special! Imange seeing the actual kill while sitting on the deck 😱 very lucky people. Leeupan is beautiful!! I know it was dry for quite some time. So glad to see it with so much water 🙌🏼 Just wish we saw the Pygmy Geese that so many have been seeing there the last while 😖

We were very lucky 🤩🙌🏼 But imagine how lucky those guests were who saw the actual kill while enjoying their breakie on the deck 😱 Insane!

Hi Anne and thank you for your comment! I think anyone who loves the park immediately books their next trip as soon as they get back from the last one 😂 We have also already booked our next Kruger trip 😁😁
We went in June / July (school holidays for us teachers 😋). We usually love going to the Kruger in the summer when all the migrant birds are back. But the winter also has its charm ☺️

Hi Stacey. Because of all you're videos that I watched I took more time to look at birds. Saw over 100 different species ❤. Because I took much more time I saw so much more and enjoyed my stay very much. I was alone for the second time (4 time in the parc. I'm from Holland so it's realy expensive, unfortunately). Next time I'll go in May (2024). Never been there in the winter. Looking forward to my next stay and in the meantime I'll enjoy your videos. What camp would you absoluut recommend? Not camping. Have a nice Sunday!
