I was lucky enough in 1984/85 when I was 10 or 11 to be a given a Private tour by one of the De La Salle Brothers as my next door neighbour was the registrar of the college. It was fantastic. I went today and managed to get a few pictures, and saw Deer Calfs running wild outside. It was fantastic. Only thing about the report that bothers me as with all Middeltonians and that is the use of Rochdale as Hopwood Hall is Middleton. Thankyou Hopwood, I hope when it is completed they make you a Lord so that a Lord will take back ownership of Hopwood Hall.

ahh.. the brits,, always appreciate history & restoring and always a helping hand. im amazed these mansions weren't destroyed in the war. they learned first hand to chip in and hold dear what really matters.

The current damage is the result of vandal attacks. The great news is things are on the mend and we will bring the Hall back to its former glory! cheers
