What’s sad, is that it’s obviously known and being restored by the media coverage but didn’t care. People don’t have respect for other peoples hard work and belongings.

What do they do with stolen flagstones? Is there a market for hot flagstones & wouldn't the buyer have to know the history of the stones to make them valuable? ❤️🙏
Hi, unfortunately they sell them on as people are always looking to buy. The good news is that the authorities take it very seriously as a Heritage Crime and have been cracking down on it recently as it was becoming a wide spread problem.
Damn it people! No appreciation or respect for history preservation. I hope they catch them and I hope they get fines and jail. Hopwood, you ought to offer a join button so we can give you money to help with your project.

Any updates on apprehending the theives, and vandals? I am hoping there will be upcoming episodes that show justice catching these people. It would be lovely if the flagstone got found and restored.
Hi Renae - yes several suspects were caught and jailed who took flagstones from numerous old churches and historic sites in the region. We made a follow up video called 'Theft Update' if you'd like to check it out. Thanks!
Too many people are just horrible, what the h ell is wrong with them. I always wonder what kind of people raise children who end up bad adults; I guess bad parents, who had bad parents themselves. Seems none of them know what self respect and decency is.
Did they sell it to you ? Or give it to you? ❤🎉 id love to come help you.. my ancestors are o'cahan we ruled N. Ireland for 600 yrs since 1160 ish .. found 18 castles.. most are ruins.. one dungiven amd limavady castles still exist.. but are owned and run
@@HopwoodXIV Yes, you seem to have brought the grand old lady back to life. I think that what your are doing for the historical preservation is wonderful. Your intention to create a cultural centre for the arts and giving the local community the chance to learn is a really important. Hope your journey from America to England shall have been an intresting adventure. Best of luck to you.
