Half the campervan is actually hand built like with the smaller coach builders, only the environment is different! Amazing. And indeed the factory looks absolutely spotless.
Watching this, three things come to mind: 1)The rise of the machines. 2) Who needs a four year college degree & be saddled with student loans debt while apprenticeship is all is needed. 3) Those Germans with their industrial complexes. All good 😊.
Those who say the quality of the Grand California is not good, make it sound as campers from other brands would be qualitative better. We have some other camper brands in our company and they have mistakes everywhere. I have seen horror stories from Ducato and Westfalia campers… so do not be fool by those comments.
I don't get why VW doesn't export this to US? I will never buy a Tesla but will buy this VW camper in a heart beat. It's a shame that promaster(Fiat) sells their junk or Ford transit but you can't even import this VW beauty.

Natürlich nicht. Der Grand California ist ein abgewandelter Crafter; statt Möbel oder Pakete transportiert man halt seine Olle, 'ne Handvoll Blagen sowie einen halben Zoo. Und das ganze schimpft sich dann "Campingurlaub". 🙈
