I'm in my first playthrough of scortched earth. This will be helpful. I had found the dessert cave and went in and lost a really good raptor on my way out. I will definitely try a thylo

For the artifact of the destroyer I used a 150 thyla after tame and just flak armour and a pump action and I just ran past everything and spammed jump until I got to the artifact, when I got to the artifact I shotgunned everything following me on my thyla so they wouldnt get me when I got the artifact. It wasn’t that hard
I'm thinking 2 tek canteens one hot and one cold will simplify the effects. Also a sinomacrops could be useful. I'll be doing a run soon. I'll let you know how it works out.
I agree that having those would make completing these caves much easier, but the reason I didn't mention them is that my goal was to teach people how to complete the map assuming they didn't have access to other DLC.
Question about nitrado, I started a world and my buddy can only play when I’m on, I want to open that world with nitrado so he can play when I’m not on, can it be done and how do I do it? We do t want to lose our progress on the world we have been working on
Sadly you can no transfer a singleplayer world onto a Nitrado server. Which will mean you either have to start over again on Nitrado (but your friend can be on whenever) or you remain as you are now and can only play together.

How did I get out of the gatekeeper cave alive? I had shitty gear, no potions or anything, and a low level thyla. 💀
Also, sorry for spamming but what creature gives you the recipe for mindwipe tonic when killed?
You do not need to get the recipe from a creature, as the player already knows the recipe. Just go to a cooking pot or an industrial cooker and place the ingredients in it.
