    30-70 sprint is probably the most valuable and relatable metric from any review channel.

    What a fantastic review. Refreshing to see some relatively uncut real life driving.

    This is why what I really hate about cars this size when parking in a car park. I would be paranoid about some hitting their door into my car because of how wide that is

    I’ve been running a 2022 VW Touareg 286 3.0D Black Edition. Would be interesting to drive the X5 back to back with it.
    The pick up on a whiff of throttle with these engines is phenomenal.

      Hey, i’m also interested in the 24’ touareg 3.0D 286hp ! Would love to have your feedback 🙏 would you recommend it ? I currently drive a lexus es hybrid, great car but feels a bit anemic

      @ absolutely- the 3.0D Touareg is a fantastic muscular car. Like a Golf GTI “on steroids”. Looks very smart without being too shouty - it’s half way between an Allroad and a Disco in height. Air suspension works a treat, very comfy and quiet, but also hunkers down and can really fly in sports mode. Take it easy and you an get 48mpg on a run. Did a great trip to Germany last year, munches the autobahn no problem. Love the big screen to. Can’t recommend enough- a very roomy 5 seater. It is a wide car though - my only criticism- but trade off for the space. Can also get 650 miles on a standard tank.

    That B57 looks so small in that engine bay, and the B57 is a big engine 🤣

    Great review, just wanted to ask if the 2021 X5 3.0d hybrid has any reliability issues?
    (I do realise that this 19 plate is not a hybrid)
    Thank you

    question. when doing the 30-70 sprint, why don’t you start accelerating from 30mph? you start from earlier which already means higher boost, revs and acceleration. mistake me if i’m wrong

    Sorry I know not related to this car, but I know you've driven both, and I really rate your taste in cars! In your opinion, B9 A4 Sedan or a W205 C-Class?, both around 2017, so pre facelifts. C class coupe is on the table too. Definitely petrol + auto if that makes a difference, budget around 17k so none of the big boys performance wise. They're both so nice inside and its near impossible to arrange a back to back test drive when buying used. Would love to hear your thoughts?

      For me the B9 a4 is better. Try and get one with s-line trim, tech pack and touring pack.

    What is the difference between 530d touring and x5 30d in driving?

    • @ParagonCarsLondon
      @ParagonCarsLondon  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the 530d is a bit sharper but that’s just because it’s lower down. The x5 handles surprisingly well.

    I’m not a fan of SUV’s because of their unnecessary size/design. You can get the exact same usability out of an estate car which is not as unnecessarily huge and doesn’t carry the same image of “oh no… a drug dealer has arrived” like this black on black with body kit X5 does.
    That said, when you started talking about how quiet, comfortable and relaxing it is and how good the driving position is despite being up high AND still seeing the bonnet to place the car on the road, looks and image problem aside, I’d love to experience one.
