This game is already 15 years old, but it still looks great. It's still fun to play. And all because the game shows real combined arms combat (tanks, infantry, artillery and even aviation). It all looks very cool! In addition, to drive the tanks is also quite interesting. Great video!
What still sets this game apart is also that it has terrain deformation. Shells exploding will leave craters, and infantry can use them and trenches to defend. I can´t think of a modern game that has this
I'm excited for more Graviteam Tactics from you. The Operation Typhoon spoiler was much appreciated! I enjoy watching you play it way more than doing it myself! I'm about twenty videos into the Raging Bridgehead campaign. It makes perfect viewing while building a 1/16 scale Panzer III!
The only thing that would take this game to the next level would be a voice over for every nation with more muffled 1940’s mic quality and that if they had a shell land near them or an enemy tank got super close and was spotted they would would sound panicked like in GHPC
I think this game did a great job demonstrating why these didn't see wide spread service, since the gun is great against tanks, but utterly useless against infantry, towed guns, etc. as I recall only around 20 made
GT’s tank consultant (ex-tank consultant perhaps?) Pasholok posted with a reference to another historian’s research - in 1941 10 were made, all sent to 21st Tank Brigade (a document listing their serial numbers is available). More were made in 1943, but none made it into the active service (I.e. a few were sent to frontlines for testing)
Another fun tidbit - T60s you see in the mission are the first ones from GAZ to be sent to active service. And, the same batch of T34s that gave 21st Tank Brigade 57mm T34s also gave them a couple of T34s armed with flamethrowers
@@arkadiy9321 Apparently a few T-34-76 were upgraded in workshops behind the front when they came in for maintenance, but there couldn´t have been many of them, since only about 200 of these 57mm guns were produced in total.

I never tried Steel Fury but this reminds me a lot of Arma.
Of everything you can do in Arma being part of tank crew is my favourite.
