Hi Preshaan! Thanks for all you videos! Having a problem with my E90 2011 facelift bmw, after replacing ac pump, took battery of for day, now indicater and from windows dond work and head lights stays on regardless of turning the switch, everything else is working
Unfortunately that's a fried FRM Module... It would need to be removed and reset

The 90 sec is the time frame for the headlights to remain on after the key is removed and highbean stalk is pulled back, the indicator lights left and right are just park light options.

Hi Preshaan, thanks for the informative vid, is there a setting that will unlock the driver door when vehicle is switched off and FOB removed from slot, i think i used to have it set that way, but lately seems i need to manually. unlock the drivers door when removing the key FOB

Hi, thank you for your comment... There isn't a setting that will auto lock the car once you get out of it... You have to lock it yourself... The car will auto lock you unlock it and don't open the drivers door within an x amount of time but that's about it

Hi, to enable the lock & unlock tones, it will need to be enabled by coding them to be active with a dedicated tool... It can't be done on the dashboard unfortunately

You can use the BC button and toggle navigation switch to cycle through the menus to find the relevant menu and activate from there🙏🏼

If you have the automatic headlights option, it should be there unless you need to have it coded into your vehicle 🙏🏼

Thanks Preshaan for these information. I have an e90 320i 2005 & I’m wondering if it supports angel eyes (I have the normal projectors and they are not so sexy)
Angel eyes will need to be coded in by a coding device, then only they should work, thats only if you have LCI halogen headlights like me, or xenon headlights with the angel eye rings
All bimmers have Angel eyes, to keep only your halo’s on, turn off your Daytime Running lights in this little menu he just went through, then turn your parking lights on. The notch before fully turning on your headlights.
If you turn off the car and set your headlights to automatic, whenever you come back to your car and unlock it, the halos will turn on and it’ll look pretty bad ass
This is only half correct... To have the angel eyes on all the time, you need to turn the light switch to parking lamp position, one click to the right... Daytime running lights can remain active, and will work with the vehicle ignition on and the light switch on 0 position. As for them turning on and off when locking and unlocking, this will only work if the light switch in automatic mode (if the vehicle has automatic headlights)

Hi Thank you for your support 😁 when you say turning off your parking sound signals, are you talking about your factory parking distance sensors or something else?
@@Realpreshaanb Yes, Im talking about regular factory parking sensors.
The PDC signal sounds cannot be turned off as it is designed to assist you in tight areas when parking. However if you have sensors in the front then you are most likely to have manual control of them by a button on the dashboard, this button is also able to turn off the system if not needed.

The headlight switch needs to be set to automatic for the angel eyes to turn on when unlocking the vehicle otherwise it won't work... Assuming that you have DRL'S activated on your vehicle and that you have the automatic headlight option

That can be done through coding, not by the menu selection unfortunately

Thank you, One question bro I recently recoded a BMW key it starts my vehicle but doesn't open or lock the vehicle (using the buttons), well intermittently 1 out of 10 times, any idea how I can get it to work 100% as the key is coded to my car not sure why it does that. Its an original new key so the batteries and frequency is fine. Thank you.
Could be a faulty keyfob where the buttons itself aren't making contact correctly

Yes i do, I'm currently experiencing the same... High chance of your heater core being blocked... Its the radiator that's inside your dashboard, low chance of the heater control valve in the engine bay which has given up

Get someone with a dedicated diagnostic tool and do a full system scan of all your modules... Then work from there

Hi, to know if you have the motorised folding mirrors, there will be a button on your driver's door next to the mirror control switch. Also if you press and hold your lock button on your key, the mirrors will fold in... If you do not have any of these, then your car has regular manual folding mirrors

You need your vehicle to have automatic headlights... Have the headlight switch set to auto & DRLs turned on... If you don't have any of these, there are no welcome lights equipped to your vehicle

I have xenon headlights, switch is on auto, and still no angel eyes on after I unlock :(
You'll need to turn on your daytime running lights (Look for the SUN icon) if that's not there, it will need to be coded in

This only made my day light work every time when I drive and my switch is on Auto (before they didnt work wen it is a day, only at nighr)

Yes it is possible but through coding only, not through the dashboard. The dashboard only has access to what is programmed to the car. I hope this helps

It shouldn't be the case, try restarting the whole process with the car stationary

What model do you have?
do you know how I can make the BC display mileage AND other information at the same time? Mine can only show one information option at a time on my E92. Either Mileage, or avegarge speed, or range etc. Always shows only one item at a time. It's weird because my old e90 showed mileage all the time and could also display other info above it.
That's a 2 way street since there are 2 types of dashboard clusters... I don't really know the code / distinguishing types however the standard one is where the mileage area changes as you cycle through the readings and the upgraded cluster is where the mileage is always displayed and you are able to cycle through the readings
@@Realpreshaanb That is so strange, I had no idea. I wonder why I got the "standard" one. My E92 is a 2009 and my previous E90 was a 2010, but I've seen older E9x's that have the upgraded clusters from the factory. I would totally upgrade it but I can't figure out the part number differences as this is such an obscure detail and physically they look identical. Could it be a software thing? I noticed my idrive is still running 2008 edition maps.

You will have to look for a symbol with a sun logo and have that set to on, also your headlight switch set to auto for it to work, in most cases, when your headlight switch is set to off, the DRLs will still be on, at its brightest setting... If all of these aren't working, then you will need to code it in👌🏼

You need to have automatic headlights for that

Yes correct, unfortunately it will only turn on the DRL's for a short time when you press the unlock button, and turn them off when you lock the car... That's the only lights that will work with the key without physically going into the car

the automatic locking has only 2 options, on or off, i don't see anything regarding a clock when it comes to automatic locking, perhaps DM me on instagram, maybe its something different on your vehicle compared to mine :)

Hi, you can check this by referring to 3:22 in the video, if its set to on, try turning it off and back on again, if its still not locking on its own as you require, you can consider checking the coding on your car. I hope this helps

It should come on whenever you open the doors by default... There isn't a setting to have the interior lights set to on / off / door setting like older cars

so i've done some research, and i've found that if you hold the interior light button (10 seconds at least) will disable the light from working with the doors, to re-enable it, simply press the button to bring it back to default and function when you unlock the car and open the door... I've tested this on my car and it works

@@Realpreshaanb Thanks again, do you know much about factory adaptive xenon headlights, mine look down and to the left all the time,I see I am missing a leveling sensor arm on the rear sensor, I am just starting to look into fixing the lightst, and the lights don't turn with the steering wheel
That you'll need to contact your local dealer, I'm not sure on pricing. Provide them with your VIN number and they'll quote you accordingly

Hi, use the bc control until you see the word SET, then use the bc button to enter the menu, scroll until you see a sun icon with the parking light symbol with and it should say off next to it, use the bc button again as well as the bc control then switch it on, and it should be done at this point

Hi, you can't change the way the lever works, that's how the mechanism is designed to work, unless you unlock it with the button on the dashboard first

It's the door button directly beneath the hazzard warning light button between your centre vents

is there any way i can set up my headlights on my 328i to flicker off and on startup. All i see is how to get it to stop flickering but i loved when it flickered on start. it was setup to flicker when i purchased but when i took it to dealer they returned it to me and it doesnt flicker anymore.
What bulbs are you using on your car, i know that generally its LED bulbs that flicker, it is a possibility that they've coded out the bulb check

If the car locks automatically when driving off, it will unlock automatically when removing the key
Preshaan Briglall my car does automatically lock when i drive off but it does not automatically unlock when i turn it off or take the key out. I have to hit the button to unlock all doors or pull handle twice to open my door
check in the menu is you have the auto unlocking activated
I tried to do this today after looking at another video, I think I made a mistake by turning the car fully on, because I couldn't find the key option. I'll have to try it again tomorrow.

That's what it means... Automatic locking as upon driving... The car will only auto lock if you do not open a door within a certain time frame once you unlock it by the key

Yes you can... Refer to 3:22 to ensure yours is turned on, and it should auto lock as you drive. Providing that your vehicle is coded to have the option

I would recommend having someone look into why its not giving any sounds as there isn't a way to turn it on or off

Yes you can, its in the sub menu on the parking marker light setting

That Will only work if you have automatic headlights, and will work by default when you unlock the car. If you don't have automatic headlight, this option isn't available

@@milanradujkovic5401 if you have an iDrive system, you can enable it from the settings (look for welcome lights) or you can use the BC control as shown in the video and look for a sun icon, if that still doesn't work, then you would need to look into coding the feature in. Also to note that your headlight switch must be set to auto for it to work properly

I have the bulb💡 icon warning & ⚠️ on the dash display.
My lights are all working on my E90, including the parking lights and interior lights.
Any ideas would be appreciated 😁
Yes i can, to pinpoint where the fault is, you're going to put the vehicle ignition on, then using the BC controls to go to "check control" , you will then see your error pop up, once you see your error - press and hold down the BC button to get a CC-ID number, Google that number and it will tell you where the fault is. Once that is done, you can inspect the bulbs, most likely it is losing contact, its starting to burn out or it is not the correct wattage or the specific area. Notice i mentioned starting to burn out, I've encountered this before, it happens generally on the brake lights (all 4) where they start turning black on the inside and will need to be replaced. Apologies for the long message. I hope this helps 🙏🏼

@@MirceaBretfe yes it will, most likely it will give you a general idea of where the cause of the error is occurring... Once you have the cc-id code, you can search it online and it will tell you where the error occures

Hi, i have this menu but it does not have the same options as u do. I have only time, date, temp. etc. i have non idrive version and i did it when the ignition was on but car was turned off. Manual transmission 325i.
Time, date, temp, etc are in the configuration menu not the personal setup menu, ensure that the correct menu is selected, if not, i would look into checking the coding on your car, it may not have been included based on the area you live in. Sometimes key items aren't coded into the car so its not changed (its a bit silly though)
