There is a common thing about Mercenary and Amorphis both of them were changing the singers but in both case these singers are good enough to carry the flag of their Bands) You are right Hinotama I think
i really miss the old singer so much. this band is still awesome the kinda went a little weird after 11 dreams for sound but oh my god the highs and growls are awesome still. 11 dreams and 1st breath are still my fave albums. and i think its that change from the sound from those 2 albums that a lot of old fans are negative about that the sound became a little more soft and the growls were toned down and not so traditional death sounding. those 2 albums are far far far from this sound. band move and change and people naturally are resistant to change. that or its trolls with nothing better to do lol
The solo is too fucking great! Very beautiful! I also really like this drummer! His playing is great and you can tell he's really in the game by the way he moves while playing, even though he's only doing a playback here.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm absolutely appalled by some of the negative comments. This song is amazing. I believe that some people don't clean their ears properly and spend the better part of their day ingesting opiates.
Agreed. I preferred their older stuff (though some of Rene's stuff has been as good as the earlier tracks), but it is disappointing to see some of the whining drivel pumped out by people who preferred Mikkel. Rene is an exceptional vocalist, but he is given no credit at all by many hard-liners.
