You're doing a great service for the VC George, I'm a regular Bognor visitor so may check that place out, does it have a much indie/punk or is it mianly rock/prog? Those slightly more isolated towns often have a great selection as they havent been picked over. Theres a shop in Bognor, but ive not visited yet, so have no idea if its any good or not.
Hi Harris, thanks for viewing and your comments 🙂 This shop in Arundel is a very mixed bag. Very decent punk/post punk/indie section but lots of others as well. 12" singles section, Jazz, Soul and funk. Very across the board. Owner Malcolm is great and chatty. There are two shops in Bognor currently. I've done the one near the station, called Straikes. Whilst very good, I found it a bit more top heavy on the 'classic rock' It didn't really have genre sections to be honest, his entire stock was just A-Z round the whole shop. However, prices there were great and I reckon you'd some stuff of interest, well worth going to. There is a shop called Rolly's in Bognor which I've yet to visit, cannot comment there.
Nice looking part of the world and an excellent looking shop ! Great bargain to start with - very jealous of that one ☝️ not heard of the Nosferatu before - great cover ❤ stay well 👍☝️🇬🇧
Lovely town and shop George. Glad you went through the crates outside, you never know what you’re going to find. Nice Frupp find, I saw Chris’s video a while back. I have that Hamill record. Never see Ayers in the bins over here. Great video. Cheers.
Seems like a lovely little town. Nice finds, and always great recommendations! I will be checking out that Kevin Ayers album; I only heard his first two.
Nice one George. Showing off a brilliant looking shop on your channel, which is mainly a highlight good shop channel!!!? I’ll be heading there, cheers for the heads up. Couple of utter bargains there!!! 😊
Must bump into you at some point mate, last one I watched, was in penge, this one was in a friend's record shop in arundle😂 do you know rollin records in West wickham , just down the road from Beckenham and penge? Belongs to Steve Willis and his Mrs. I havnt been there for a while, hope its still going. He's got blinding stuff in there!
Popped into the shop last week, picked up a couple of Peter Hammill albums. Such a great shop, Malcolm is always very friendly and pleased to see you. 👍🎸great haul, I saw the Fruupp album in there last week.
@Allenporter-mz9lm Thanks Allen. It really is a pleasure to go to this one. A lovely haul. There was a fair amount of PH albums for sale. He must have had a full collection at some point.
A great haul indeed George!. The Book of Invasions is a great album, with some lovely songs..the other Horslips i have is ' The Man Who Built America ' which i kind of bought for the magnificent title track. I still need to hear Frupp, and yes, i saw Chris' video too. I do like Kevin Ayers, although i have to say Joy of A Toy is my favourite.
Another shop now on my list. Will tie it in with the Bognor Regis shop you previously featured plus possibly Music Mania in Worthing. Have you visited this one yourself?
@jazzychris123 I've not done the Worthing shop, but it's on my radar. Arundel and Bognor in one day will reward well. Both those shops are as good as each other! Helter Skelter and Time Machine in Chichester as well if you can fit them in.
@@georgeprior-vinylshowtell4934 Music Mania is great, visited first time during Storm Bert in Nov, got some records I wanted but you may well prefer Train Of Thought on the way into town from the station, possibly more Prog sold there. I don't know any of the records or music you buy but do enjoy your videos. Happy hunting!
beautiful town, i vaguely remember Nosferatu.i nave most of Kevin's lps. that one in close to my favorite. i picked up some good ones. SPARKS, Indiscreet & Kimono My House, and Opeth, blackwater park. cheers!
Tried to watch but the incessant shaking video at the intro made me immediately dizzy. Was there an earthquake or were you freezing out there? ...also, showing records without really showing many in the shop - yeah, I do see the bins, though. On top of all that I could only understand half of what you were saying. Sorry, not for me.

@tonyholt1792 I had a another viewer recommend Rollin records. Hopefully plan to check it out next year.
I like the band Uriah Heep. I remember their hit song Free Me which came out in 1977. I have never heard of the other bands. Horselips ??.
