Thanks for the tips. Very useful. Just so you know, contrary to what you say in 13:52 Dawnbreak Reclaimer’s ability actually is optional. (“You *may* return those cards”) And you can base your choice on what your opponent picked out for you, so it’s much better than it sounds.
Haha I thought that to, it's optional, but I also agree that it's too situational to be really good. If it was not optional it would have been unplayable 😅
Dawnbreak Reclaimer is a lot better than you made out in the cuts here - the ability trigger is not a may, but you MAY return both creatures to the battlefield. So if your opponent doesn't give you a good deal, then you can choose not to return the creatures to the battlefield. This card is really good because you can help a player that's behind, using political pressure to get your best stuff back. You can also join forces against an arch enemy.
Great deck, definitely pulling some ideas from this! I'll probably add Ascend from Avernus as well, since it'll help with getting a boardstate back and easily too since we'll definitely have the mana for it. I'll also probably run Reprieve for some interaction and card draw. If someone happens to pull a Land Tax from CMM then that's a solid draw engine too! (Let's you thin your deck!)

What do you think about adding a Cloudshift and/or teleportation circle to have creatures come back in with more counters as your board state grows. There is risk with Teleportation circle that if your hit with removal you could shrink a creature but with the ability to target an artifact that risk should be low.
I made this upgrade before Virtue of Loyalty was spoiled but I do really like the card in the deck. Both cards are really good and it totally is up to you whichever one you want more in the deck. -Hunter

Love the vid, what is yalls opinion on Luminarch Ascension? Played against it a few times, not even in angel decks, and it felt really strong. What would you cut if you think it would be worth running?
I fought with adding that card into the deck but overall I didn’t think it was worth it in the end. It kind of incentivizes your opponents to attack you and I don’t want that haha -Hunter
It's an angel precon. Angels and dragons are probably 2 of the most tax type creatures in game. They are super popular and cards like avacyn/lyra get splash on decks for good beater/support. This usually makes angels and dragons an expensive archetype if you want the popular ones
@@MatthewFoo_Zygardias It's mono-colored, so basics really are some of the best colored lands you can have. People really undervalue basics these days. Plus, the deck utilizes Emeria, which wants lots of Plains. The deck also includes the best mono color utility land in the game--Nykthos. The CMM decks pointedly excluded such things. If you're building a mono-colored deck, you're looking for some utility lands that hopefully don't come in tapped and basics. That's not to say you couldn't add some more good utility lands to this deck, but a mono-white Angel deck that includes Emeria and Nykthos is a pretty great start. But here's the thing. There are a million ways to evaluate a deck like this that will conclude that it's bad. It's all about the metrics you want to apply. This is not going to work out at a CEDH table, and it will struggle to win against a group of 7s and 8s. But if you're looking at value for money, it's there. You get almost $200 in high end reprints, and some great new art as well. And if you're looking for a good play experience, it's there. The deck was thoughtfully constructed with cards that play nicely into its themes -- Angels and lifegain -- while retaining a meaningful level of power. If you're comparing it to the quality of other precons throughout the years, this ranks among the best. It's a rare case of an actual decent product from a pretty garbage company. I would have liked it better at $100 or even $120, but, unlike CMM, I think you're pretty much getting your money's worth here.
