    Cloud of faeries goes infinite with a ton of things including dimir aqueduct. And Myriad Landscape seems good in this deck. Think about it, your goal is to tap out on your opponents turn. But if they don't give you good incentive to use your permission/removal, then you either have to try and force something or that mana goes to waste, so Myriad Landscape gives you backup so that you don't actually waste the turn, and instead you end up coming out ahead. Plus the curve seems low enough that it probably puts you ahead more often than it limits you.

    Costs slightly more mana but I like “Didn’t Say Please”, “Faerie Trickery”, and “Familiar’s Ruse” for counter spells for flavor reasons.
    Good additions and removals. Looking forward to getting my deck in the mail.

    I think Nettling Nuisance and Misleading signpost are good support if you want to build around Alela instead of Tegwyll. Alela has a goad mechanic, she wants your opponents to worry about the attack step while you worry about other things (like combos and interaction which you can defend at instant speed).
    I took this as a build around aspect, added some more Goad effects as well as Propaganda effects which work well with Bident of Thassa.

      Nettling nuisance is hilarious in 1v1 tho. Almost destroyed it on the draw

    There is a infinite combo in the deck as it is with Cloud of faeries, hullbreacher, quickling sol ring or a two mana land and Oona, Infinite mana and you deck your opponent

    Just shower thoughts.
    You guys should start a patreon! What would be really cool is about 24 hours after an upgrade video you could make a post to make it easy to see what’s out and in in a list style. These 32 out… These 32 in… would make it more fun to watch than making sure to pause at each different screen. We could just enjoy the pace of the video and listen to your reasons and strategies then go over there and copy pasta into my Helvault to see what I have. Love the channel as always.

    Missing out on a wincon if you take Cloud of Faeries out, also, Displacer Kitten would be a nice add - there are a lot of ETBs in this deck.

    One major problem. Most removal/counterspells are 1 for 1 at best, and a deck built around 'heavy interaction', especially when the archetype doesn't have the necessary support as of yet in this type, might not work as intended.

    • @GuysThatMagic
      @GuysThatMagic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The deck is a lot of fun! Try it out on moxfield if you haven’t already.

      I agree. What are your suggestions to add into the deck instead of more simple removals?

    • @jayjayhooksch1
      @jayjayhooksch1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@PixieLilacDreamseither more card advantage, more removal that synergizes with the deck or both.
      I really like Run Away together in this list, it's already in the stock list though. I really like Familiar's Ruse for similar reasons. Ertai Resurrected and Venser Shaper Savant work really well with your bounce effects and even Archmage of Echoes. If you want to get cute you can add Riptide Laboratory since there is actually a lot of wizards in the deck.

      Tempo/control is a heavily supported archetype. There are a plethora of cards that draw you cards when you cast a spell on your opponents turn. On top of the blue enchantments that draw you cards whenever a creature deals combat damange. Yea there is more than plenty of support for this deck.

    Feels like you could do much more with $100! E.g. Bitterblossom is good but it’s too expensive and could probably be replaced by 2-4 very good other cards!

    • @GuysThatMagic
      @GuysThatMagic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bitterblossom has a lot of synergy for it not to be added. Once the set is released it will be interesting to see what the price of the Enchanting Tales version of it will be.

    I have about 10 games under me with Aleila as the commander, and I gotta say that she's way stronger than the face commander. I have tuned my deck somewhat in terms of interaction and land base, but it's all been way under 100 euros. Regardless, I can still pilot this deck vs aggressive Muldrotha decks, control decks, rakdos turbo etc. I've won 6 games out of the 10 which is a pretty decent winrate considering the relatively high power level at my locals. Wotc did an amazing job providing us great interaction pieces and synergy in the precon, along with great reprints and a janky infinite combo that some people have already figured out. I threw in Mana Vault to make getting infinite mana from Hullbreacher a lot easier. I feel so bad for the Selesnya deck. Its not good at all compared to Fae Dominion.

    • @edwarddaignault5243
      @edwarddaignault5243 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've heard people say the green/white deck is stronger, it gets confusing at times to know how good something really is. I just bought the faerie deck today, and plan on using Alela. Again, some people said Alela is weak, and the goad sucks lol.

  • @Winterhe4rt
    @Winterhe4rt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Myriad Landscape is so bad. Its insane its in the precons and people willingly put it in their decks. If you activate it you have like minus 6 mana or something on tempo, its just absurdly bad.

    • @markos50100
      @markos50100 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It taps for a colorless, so just the tap on play portion is bad. There are turns where you leave 3 mana up for counters but if no one does anything worth playing one, you can spin landscapes at the end step of the turn before yours to pull two lands you don't have to hard play. Timing is the most important use for it.

    • @Winterhe4rt
      @Winterhe4rt 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@markos50100 Thats just wrong. Its not only bad cause it comes into play tapped. The moment you activate it you lose mana and tempo as well.

    • @markos50100
      @markos50100 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Winterhe4rt you aren't activating it immediately. You activate it when you leave mana up to interact on an opponents turn, and they don't do anything worth playing a counter on. That's when you activate it. You still have a mana to tap it every turn. It's just colorless. And this also makes it so you don't hard draw two basic lands and hard play them on your turn.

    • @Winterhe4rt
      @Winterhe4rt 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@markos50100 so you play a colorless tap land you probabyl never ever going to activate. got it.
