Thanks for the input guys. I think I’ll go into the DLC at level 100, so I can cope with the endgame difficulty but still leave room to feel like I’m progressing by levelling up. I want to use exclusively DLC gear on my first run too, so I’ll probably go in with +20 weapons that I can soon replace. I just wonder how much people in the base game will have to say about the DLC. I don’t want to kill Maliketh on my planned DLC save yet, because I get the feeling Gideon will have quite a lot to say about the DLC and I don’t want to miss that by forcing him into the final area. That’s really one of the main reasons the DLC entry point is a focus of mine.

So it is possible this is just an update to something else on the channel and not an actual trailer addition.
The only challenge I want to pose, in regards to the game dropping in April is this: - In multiple financial reports, FS has made multiple statements that more content for ER will be released by the end of this current fiscal year. If they drop it in April, it might be deemed as a complete contradiction to what they are forecasting to their investors. They kept repeating that ER content is to be released within this current year.
After 2023 revenue period endings makes a lot of sense becauee I don’t see them launching a game in 2024 financial year if you already had ac6 in previous one. If they started development on the dlc in April 2022 it would also make sense for two years after development. But it could also release March and the earnings wouldn’t come until next years financial year anyways

I actually picked up a PS5 a few days ago and picked up Bloodborne as well! I hadn’t tried it yet but may dive into it. I fear that the DLC will launch in February and I’ll have to stop playing so that’s why I hadn’t started yet!

I feel like it all points to a late 2024/early 2025 release, with the reveal happening this very February. Fromsoft may drop trailers out of the blue, but releasing their games is a whole different story. Elden Ring took roughly 8 months to release since it's reveal at Summer Game Fest in June , releasing in February of the following year about 8 months later. The same goes for Armored Core 6 with its reveal at TGA in December and release in August, also about 8 months later. If the Expansion gets revealed this February with a jaw dropping trailer, then I can absolutely expect it to launch around Fall 2024, the Holiday season even. One of the main reasons why I feel it's going to be like that is that it fits the 8 months window, but it also avoids major releases cannibalizing the expansion's success and mainstream attention. The expansion is likely very big, huge, they know it, and they want people to know it. It all just rhymes.

Elden Ring took roughly 8 months to release since it's reveal at Summer Game Fest in June , releasing in February of the following year about 8 months later. The same goes for Armored Core 6 with its reveal at TGA in December and release in August, also about 8 months later. If the Expansion gets revealed this February with a jaw dropping trailer, then I can absolutely expect it to launch around Fall 2024, the Holiday season even. One of the main reasons why I feel it's going to be like that is that it fits the 8 months window, but it also avoids major releases cannibalizing the expansion's success and mainstream attention. The expansion is likely very big, huge, they know it, and they want people to know it. It all just rhymes.

it will probably be a big expansion, otherwise, if it's something like dark souls dlcs, which werent worth the money really, thats insanely bad. bloodborne dlc was also supposed to come out in batches, but they were so small they made it into one dlc.
